As for the Stunticons, I'm waiting for the Takara version this August, as a B-Day gift for myself.

They responded by first telling me they would send me a $10 dollar off coupon, then by apologizing that they couldn't send me a coupon because I am in Canada and their coupons aren't valid here and that they would send me a figure of equal value. Today I get home and I open up a box shipped to me direct from Hasbro Canada... containing CW G1 Leader Megatron!
What was the reason you gave for your roadbuster needing to be returned? And did they ask you to provide a picture or your reciept?
I described the manner in which his shoulder ratchets being obscenely loose made me feel like I had wasted my money and had turned a figure I was excited for into a disappointment. I included the serial number in my complaint. They asked for no photos or proof of any kind.

I tought the "free shipping for 50$" was standard practice. Because for 25$, it's REALLY cheap. Maybe it was a temporary promo or something?

Here's the last screen shot I took when I first saw Leader Megatron. Only 25 bucks!
I thought it was odd back then, because TRU.com (US) was always at $49 for their free shipping. So it sucks to see we have followed suit

Overquoting to say that it's VERY easy to spend more than 50$ of toy. It's just suck if the only thing you want is a single deluxe... Even then, a single deluxe is not enough to reach 25$.
also, who can blame them? Shipping IS free afterall. So few online shops offer free shipping in canada. Considering that shipping within Canada is EXTREMELY expensive and that TrU use Purolator, I'm fine with that.
BTW, if you are ordering from TrU and have no car, better have your stuff delivered at your workplace. Having to walk all the way to Purolator's distributing center in the industrial complex AND having to turn back because you don't have any paper that proves your address suck mighty balls.

Oh, I wasn't disputing that. Free shipping is great no matter what. But if someone was only getting a couple deluxe's and didnt reach that $49 mark, it would kinda sucks is all.-Kanrabat- wrote:Overquoting to say that it's VERY easy to spend more than 50$ of toy. And thanks nuclear Convoy for describing what took place with customer service. Hasbro seems to care for their customers quite a bit.

It's strange, when I worked in a government office, we only used Purolator and Canada Post, and Purolator was awesome for speed and delivery. Nowdays my office refuses to ship anything with them due to numourous errors and delays.

Spotted a guy walking out with their last CW Armada Megatron, but there was also Offroad, Dead End and Breakdown on pegs.

Still, neither of these two figures have yet to be spotted in Toysrus in Canada and Huffer is listed as being available to ship, so it's good news to Canadians seeking this figure. This also means that we will soon be able to also order the wave 2 deluxes and the voyager online.

I'm not sure if that's an insult or not.
(I'm Canadian so I'm just asking if its an insult or not)

Absolutely not. It's a poor attempt at humor and an even worse attempt at word play.
But seriously, it does seems like a great news day for Canadian TF fans.

Alright I understand now thanks for clearing that up.
It would be a good day if they even showed up in stores here.
Seriously I have never seen the Windblade or Arcee waves (Crosscut, Nightbeat, Jahixus, Chromia) in any stores around here the latest toys in the generations line I have seen here is Centuritron and a single Skids.

That's too bad, my TRU is stocked with the windblade wave. And I know online isnt an option for you but if you could find a friend, they are available there too.

And I thought distribution was slow in Louisiana. We are usually 1-3 months behind the first sightings.
My city saw extremely limit release of Arcee and Chromia. I can't really complain though; I mean, we did at least get them.
I've switched to online pre-orders for the figures I really want. Which I understand really isn't an option for everyone.

I've seen a bunch of Crosscut, Nightbeat and Jahixus as well as Wingblade, Scoop and Centurion around here, at TRU, WalMart and even some at Winners.
But Arcee or Chromia... nope. It's almost like they simply were not made available by Hasbro Canada to standard retail.

And a single Combiner Ward Drag Strip but I don't even like Drag Strip I'm buying him last.

Hmmmmmm that is a great idea thank you for the suggestion/advice James I really appreciate it.
Might take awhile since I'm looking for a new summer job (my Old one was temporary).
Luckily I have a Pop shop (Like a gas station without the gas pumps) by my house that has a bottle depot where I in take my bottles and I know some of the staff there since I'm a frequent customer so I'm sure I can get a job and save up to buy the current 3 combiner teams.

Agreed, I only just finally picked up Powerglide, and I was impressed with the mold. An evil version with some Cobra affiliation going on is gonna be amazing.
I plan to get at least three, then I can attempt the ridiculousness of Viper dual-wielding Vipers in gun mode.

I don't care about any sales. My Walmart is still stuck at Wave One, GIMME AIRRAID ALREADY!v

But not at that insane price, mind you.

Ok, I see. But yeah, that price is insane, glad I could find a takara one locally.
In other news, for some weird reason, tru has a listing for Offroad, all alone in wave 2.

Ok, I just found it funny that he was all alone. It reminds me of that picture where all the stunticons are chilling and offroad is sitting down far away from them in the foreground looking sad.

That's a great picture, and to make it better, look at it while playing the old Incredible Hulk lonely man music.

I imagine him at Prom and all the other stunticons have a date and then someone comes up to him and tells him that exact line.
Jokes aside, I think the reason why Alpha Bravo doesnt get this is simply due to release date. We are just getting Offroad in Canada now and Brakeneck will be available soon, while Alpha Bravo had months to himself for trying to be part of the Aerialbots.
