I've been trying my hand with Ironhide as well. The only thing is that the whole fist sits much higher on my Ironhide than this pic of Trailblazer. I just got TB the otherday, but haven't opened him. I'll play with him later today.

Me too. Impressed, actually. Bring on CW Predaking! Hopefully the Predacons will be sold separately at stores.steals_your_goats wrote:if they can turn onslaught from a truck into a lion I'll be perfectly fine with it.

I think they're more likely to be sold in a box set so they don't take any waves away from the other lines.

Actually you can get a lynx mode
As for how to do it unfortunately I do not own the mold so I can offer no insight there.

You basically spin his lower legs around, pull the lynx head out a bit, and pivot the wings into position, he's actually got a lot of moving parts/joints to make it happen. No parts-forming, or dis-assembly required

Yeah....quoting myself here.
So, I've had a chance to mess with him a bit at lunch. I noticed a couple of things. (I'll try to put this in a couple of pics, or perhaps a video.) First, Trailblazer's combiner thumb is vastly different than Ironhide and Offroad. This pic is pretty much only possible with the thumb folded in. Second, the thumb portion of the hand has to be tilted some from the knuckles/fingers, like to partially expose the weapon hole. (I hope this is clear. I'm not sure exactly how to describe this. Sort of partially transform it from being a foot to being a hand.)
Third, and this is the part that I dislike the most, it appears that the back of the "hand" is squeezed between the front tires, causing the wheels to be splayed out slightly. (I wonder if this was where some people are seeing stress marks. It sorts of sits in there snug until I touch it, then *snap* the hood goes back and the fist squeezes out.
I am not a fan of this configuration. I think I'll keep TB in truck mode in my display.

Or, alternatively, plug that fist into the arm-gun for BIG HAND MODE.

Yes, Hasbro is well known for giving short shrift to the Decepticons. They need better publicity agents.
For Valentine's Day? Oh, same as usual. Reaping souls and reviewing toys
Which toy is next? Well I posted my Combaticon figure review yesterday (shameless out-of-thread plug) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Smlo4xLoQ3k
The actual Bruticus review is coming in 2 weeks. But I'll be posting a shorter review in the interim which I will only say is 'Phasmastic'.....

A lot of people are saying that the yellow smudge on his shoulder is supposed to be Legends Scrounge, remolded to be able to be used as a shield, but I don't know what to think.

Looks like those are some new hands and feet there. Interesting, though I'll probably replace them anyway, assuming I even get this. Quantron still looks like the better deal, even if he is a bit shorter than most combiners.
As for Lightspeed, judging by the detail on the folded down car front I'd say it's probably Breakdown/Wheeljack. But don't quote me on that, I've been wrong before.
Posted by D-Maximal_Primal on February 11th, 2016 @ 5:30pm CST
and Computron: He is looking to be what I wanted. Yeah, a few tweaks here and there, but he looks awesome! I love it. Plus that little cosmos repaint is a neat 6th figure (maybe 7th) But I wonder how they would factor that into why whoever he is is with the technobots

Payload may be necessary for that mold to work, considering the tab in payload and how he can attach to Cosmos, that would be the only way this would work.
And new hands and feet are always welcome

He is said to be a redeco (possibly with a new head) of Legends Cosmos. And since it seems that it is Scrounge on his arm, you know what that means:
It means that Computron has a special arm (there is no other like it) .

As for being a 7-team combiner, I guess technically CW Computron *could* be the first,(if it turns out to be true) but any other could have had a legends class weapon & chest piece (or two weapons).
BWII God Neptune was close (repaint of Piranacon). They planned to add Beast Wars Razorclaw (renamed later in BW Neo as Rockbuster) as a "Target-Master" like gun along with the teams 6th member, until ultimately scaling it back to the basic 5.

o.supreme wrote:I don't think it would be Scrounge, probably just Cosmos recolored to match the Computron color scheme (ala Powerglide to G2 Superion). The guy is really obscure, with no toy that I know of, and no connection to the Technobots that I am aware of. I know Cosmos may not have any connection either, but at least he is a "futuristic" type vehicle that could sort of fit in with the Technobots.

Recolored Powerglide as himself for G2 Superion makes sense though. Recolored Cosmos as himself for G1 Computron doesn't. He's definitely representing a different character.
I meant the first 7 man CW team, since they have official line ups according to Hasbro.
