The images below come from Heymickey on Twitter, who also took an image of leader class Soundwave with all his cassettes. These cassettes are Target exclusives and speaking of which, we also have a sighting of the Music FX Titan Bumblebee figure which is also a Target exclusive. Fc203 posted a video on youtube showing his finding along with the different sound effects this Bumblebee does.
Another peripheral toy sighting would be the Tiny Turbo Titans Series 4 at Meijer by xRotorstormx. This series is a tie in to the Bumblebee movie with Shatter, Dropkick and Volkswagen Bumblebee found in the wave. You can see every character included here.
And speaking of Bumblebee movie tie ins, series 3 of Studio Series which includes the Volkswagen Bumblebee figure is available on amazon.com for almost everyone to purchase.

That's like the identical situation where I live, literally the same number of targets and Walmart in that radius, just a lot further north then yours.

Some of that will be seasonal. The toy departments of those stores are usually a wasteland between Easter and the build up to Christmas. Fortunately the build up to Christmas should be right around the corner. Particularly with Target, they have all moved a bunch of things to clearance aisles, and I would expect the toy departments to be re-organized in the next month and start getting filled in.
Walmart is Walmart, I'm not sure they run with any rhyme or reason there.

Yep...Illinois distribution is so weird. I think Missouri, Iowa, Indiana, even Kentucky get better distribution here than us.

I agree with you...the other problem is that Walmart does not have very many dedicated to associates. I see different people stocking all the time and they have no idea what I;m talking about when looking for new product. Both my Targets were once really really good. I do not know who is running things now, but clearance is a mess (sloppy thrown together endcaps). The shelf space in Action figures is mostly old Star Wars that will never sell. They cram all the Transformers into a very small section and half the time items are on wrong peg anyway. Target is really ticking me of more than Walmart.

Wasn't there a KBB MP Voyager scaled SW teased a while back? And didn't megasteel also tease a voyager sized SW? I haven't heard any news on that. Just putting this out here cause I really want a nice SW Voyager sized SW figure and the BB movie doesn't seem to be delivering even tho the SW design in the BB trailer was perfect. Seems like a missed opportunity on Hasbro's part by reissuing a figure we already got 2 years ago

First Blaster, and then a Soundwave with all new Boombox parts, and now this one has even different boombox parts, so all 3 are entirely unique

Guess it's fun to complain about every single details.
Those who already have their TR Soundwave may not be interested, but many like me either skipped or never saw it in store. So it's like a second chance. Personally, I found the original TR version to be too bland. But this special one is just right. So if I see it in store, I may pounce.

The official site for the promotion is here, and the 'Diventa un Transformers' event is part of OriginalDays, which will include demos and sketches on the days with the apparel and products tied in to the movie. Because reasons.

If I didn't already have the TR Soundwave I'd be all over the new Beedeco SW. Color's are better, the molding is cooler. I am not a fan of the dark grey on the arms and legs though. Just looks off.-Kanrabat- wrote:Guess it's fun to complain about every single details.ZeroWolf wrote:D-Maximal_Primal wrote:ZeroWolf wrote:Broke Down Bot wrote:Now that I look closer they are using the Titans Return Blaster mold.......lazy

It's a fantastic mold that looks the part and a lot of fun to play with in base mode. I'd recommend owning at least one flavor of the mold. I will say after seeing Soundwave in the new trailer, I want "that" Soundwave in addition to all the other Soundwaves. I'm in the can't have enough Soundwaves camp, BTW
I'm also hunting that Cassettebot pack because I "need" a blue Frumble.

Brickseek and Target DCPI code 087-16-3093. Check to see if your local target has them. Mine did, but they were in the back, so find an employee and ask them to look up the DCPI code and check stock.
That's how I got mine yesterday. I should finally have some time to open them up tonight, photos to follow.

This is the Transformers Titan Changer Shatter, which is a very big simple toy with a 7 step conversion and limited articulation. It has not been reviewed yet (to my knowledge) so I wanted to show what was going on with this toy if anyone is curious when they walk by it in stores.
Honestly, for what it is I cannot see it be better. It is a fully converting toy with two very distinctive a good looking modes, bigger than a leader class toy, at a deluxe price point. That means the same resources (i.e. material) that goes into a deluxe is stretched out to give you a massive toy for younger kids to enjoy.
The box gives us what is either an early design fo Shatter, that has since been dropped, or a look at Shatter with a battle mask we have yet to see any footage of.
There is assembly required, and this is where the toy falters. The wings come seperate from the figure so you have to attach them, and they can detach during transformation.
They do provide a very impressive wing-span though. The jet mode is pretty great. It is MASSIVE! You can see it below compared to Transformers The Last Knight Voyager Megatron. It is also a very decent looking jet. While it has the same transformation as recent Windblade toys, I feel the legs are far better disguised here. The movie aesthetic gives the legs a lot of detail which blends well with the altmode. I also like how the wings have the perfect outline for the feet to fill.
Of course, this is a very simple transformer, so there is definitely (half) a robot hiding underneath there.
The best part of the robot mode is how uniform and unique it looks, especially when compared to the jet. Many Titan Changer toys suffer from having overly lanky robots and while Shatter looks rather slim, she actually looks more proportional than any other toy in the line so far. And the alt mode isn't obvious, especially since her chest hints at a car alt mode. Also, as you will see below, this toy is huge. Articulation is of course very poor, as is the case with all these toys.
So there you have it. I bought it so you don't have to. But hey, if you want a big simple toy for your kids to have fight against Bumblebee then this is the best Titan Changer toy we have ever had. Easily the most complex and most detailed, by a country mile.

And to enjoy the Power class toys to their fullest, you need to get the igniter which is only sold in the NItro class and Power Plus class. Confused?
Don't worry, Chuck explains this very well in the review for the entire Power class, which includes Megatron, Hot Rod, Bumblebee (Camaro) and Dropkick. Check it out for yourself!

Price matching on Amazon is the easiest of all. Just buy the item again at the cheaper price, return the higher priced item, and you're good to go! No need to have phone calls or anything. Problem solved.

Maybe amazon.com for domestic orders, but that practice is not the same for Amazon in general.Amazon.ca will ask you to pay the return shipping if there is nothing defective regarding your item. And not sure if international orders placed on.com are extended free returns as well. So returning a higher priced item is not a winning strategy in every case.

There's a way around it. You might have to mark that something is wrong with the item or something. Amazon wants to compete with Target, Walmart and other big box retailers. Only way they can do that is with free returns. In addition (at least in the US), we also have the option to return the item free-of-charge to our local Kohl's.
