Featuring a new deco, new gun accessory, and what seems to be swappable faceplates (or entire headsculpts), the Autobot leader - seen in the movie at least in hologram form for now - is ready for his super bendy posable self arrival in the new Paramount movie instalment. Check out the images from TFND on Facebook below!
Update: A new image shows that this is not a retool of the Age of Extinction Evasion Mode Optimus Prime toy but instead an upscale with new sculpting details. Yentai Lang stated the following on Transformers Never Die:
BB-01 MV Evasion Optimus Prime
Leader Class!!! Enhanced detail and design.
Staley Cheung posted an image of this toy on the Hobbymizer page where we see it compared to Shadow Panther, where its leader scale is revealed.

This is certainly a more interesting product than a simple redeco.

Also look at the wheels on the legs. It has one of the lower one raise up to meet the higher ones like on the Studio figure and not like on the Evasion figure.

All of the new changes make this a heck ton more similar to Weijiang's upscaled knockoff. Although, I am really happy for this. If we can get an american release at all, even if this is just an exclusive, I will most definitely get him.

Your Cheetor needs some straighening out in that pic.
Here is a composite someone did on TFW, which shows that this is an upscale:

Sincerely, while the mold is great, I don't like much the blue feet and the chromed abdomen.

And the new Prime wasn't standing up straight either, so I figured it would all cancel out.
Anyways, if it is an upscale, it's very slight. Kinda odd.

No if we were getting this in this line, it wouldn't have it's own Japanese text covered packaging. That's a dead giveaway in today's day & age that it's TakaraTomy only. Let alone THE paint aps and many gimmicks plus the parts count on this I'm betting is higher then todays leader classes.
It may however be exclusive down the road.

Too much stuff to buy. Still haven't gotten around to picking up PotP Prime. Want to get Seige Prime, now this Prime, and SS Prime.
So... many... Primes.

Yeah, I like the improvements in the parts on this figure but it being Leader class means it's way out of scale for my collection and my income doesn't stretch to Masterpiece prices. If it had been voyager as at first assumed I would be looking at importing as soon as possible but as a Leader I can't really justify the cost when it won't fit in my (mostly Studio based) collection. Never mind. Enjoy it when you get it, folks.

What are other examples? I could argue MB 11 but not sure about the others.

That's the opposite of cancelling out, my dude. If this new Prime was stood up all the way, he'd be even taller than he is in that photo - probably around the expected Leader-class size. So I think the upscale is fairly significant, though I guess the best way to tell for sure is to wait for actual comparison images!
Man I really kinda want this.

No specific movie examples, but I look at things like Encore God Fire Convoy or Encore BM Optimus Primal as a "close enough" for things they aren't likely to make MPs of.

Don't be so sure. The toys may be the same between regions now, but the packaging is not: while PotP's is just the US packaging with some stickers, the Studio Series is all new, in Japanese. The same may be the case for Optimus Prime here, and other Bumblebee movie toys.
A Leader Class-priced Optimus Prime was listed on Amazon AU, with a Hasbro product code (E4522). If this "Legendary Optimus Prime" (yes, that's the actual name of the figure) fits within Leader Class pricing, there we have it. Doesn't fit in Studio Series that well, too expensive to be Cyberverse, only other option is War for Cybertron... where scale is now important (imagine that). The reason he wasn't shown may have been because he's too far into the line if the product code is any indication.

By comparing to images of the Age of Extinction toy, you will notice that everything related to the arms is completely different. The shoulder armour is made of individual pieces, giving further proof that this does have a parts count more akin to a leader class toy. The forearms are completely different too and none of the details match.
Another huge difference, where it seems the transformation itself differs, is when we look at the back. Not only does the back of the top half have different pieces, but in the legs we can see that instead of him having two wheels at his calves, he has two wheels near his hips. So, judging by all this, it is far more likely that this is a new mold using some tricks and design cues of the first toy, like the foot transformation.
These new photos come to us from the Toyswalker facebook page.

Whats weird is that Takara and Hasbro both share the studio series line, so if it would be studio series, why wouldnt Takara release it through taht instead of their own BUmblebee movie line?
I am thinking if Hasbro releases it, it would be an exclusive, like the amazon stuff we saw. Target has its own BB exclusive toys, this could be amazon's.

Funny that some folk are complaining that with all those changes it's STILL only got one truck mode smokestack.
Not sure why the feet are grey/white inside. Serves no purpose in robot mode and makes the feet rather obvious in truck mode.

Because normally, a truck barely have anything on the back. And the little there is is either bare metal or unpainted. So I guess that's what they are going for.

Mirrored from the Dengeki Hobby site, below you can find images of the Power Charge Bumblebee, the newly revealed Legendary Optimus Prime from the movie's line, from a variety of angles, and sporting MP-10's trailer, plus Studio Series Volkswagen Bumblebee we saw revealed at San Diego Comic Con 2018, along with its line-mates KSI Sentry and the tattooed Starscream. Check it all out below, including the official Volkswagen license for the beetle car modes, and let us know what you think in the Energon Pub!
It is a perfect deformation figure of Bumblebee popular character of Autobot appearing in the new movie "Bumblebee". It is Bumblebee which I mimicked as a yellow Camaro in the movie so far, but in this movie I mimic it as a yellow Volkswagen and it is active. It is possible to wear a battle mask of the head, withdraw weapons from the left arm, different sounds are activated in the vehicle mode and robot mode, and the gimmick of the front light is also carried.

Release date: Scheduled to be released in the fall of 2018

This is also a perfect deformation figure of Optimus Prime of the new movie "Bumblebee". Vehicle mode is as you can see! If it is a transformer fan influenced by the first animation, it will take in the hand without hesitation, a nostalgic "box type" tractor head. Transform from robot mode to vehicle mode! The whole body is fully movable in robot mode. You can also reproduce the state of the battle mask on and off.
* Containers that are towing in the vehicle mode are those of the MP-10 Convoy. Actual product is not included.

The latest work of the "Studio Series" which transforms the transformers who appeared in the movies into a unified scale. The star scream of Decepticon, who fought with Autobots as Megatron's right arm, participated in a splendid "studio series" of both vehicle mode and robot, both proportions! Not only alien tattoos applied to the whole body, marks of foreheads in robot mode are also reproduced.

It is a perfect deformation figure of Ironhide in charge of weapons of Autobot who appeared from the first movie "Transformers". It completely deforms to the robot mode from the vehicle mode (pickup truck made by US GMC company). The appearance and expression of robot mode is the image itself in the play. The brave appearance of that iron idea is revived in the "Masterpiece Movie Series".

My interests in that Big Bee was FIRST how it look. The think look fantastic. Even better than the deluxe. And I don't give a crap about the innacuracy of the center part of the chest. That's what the MP will be for.
The second reason why I want this be the most are indeed all the gimmicks. It will go very well with my Battle Ops bumblebee and my Weaponiser Prime talking black Bee.
