And Wingblade Prime looks pretty nifty.

I like the black better than the baby blue. And since Blurr's wave never made it down here that I could see, I'd be happy to pick this one up instead.
Him and Rodimus are as good as bought.

That said, I'm digging Wasp and Wingblade Prime. Glad I skipped the Battle Begins one.

I know Thrust wasn't in the cartoon, but then again, neither was Dirge.

TFA Blurr is a great figure and the repaint looks slick.
Rodimus Minor looks great and Wasp is neat(I too am glad that Ironhide got the head remolding instead as I like the look of Cybertron Ratchet more than ol' Earth BB).
Toxic Oil Slick doesn't look that much different than the normal version...I'm still going to pick one up as I love the mold.
It would have been very cool for Hasbro to have developed a Slipstream figure.

A whole pile of WANT!!!!
One more seeker to add to the lineup. SO EXCITED!!!!
Can't wait for the movie stuff to end. I'm SO resetting my TFA shelf.
That Blur was so good I bought a second to put up on my classics shelf replacing Cybertron Blur.

Didn't forget, just glad to see a bit of confirmation we might actually be seeing it.

The rest if the lighter areas, I can't really tell if they are just reflections on the black, or if there truly is a lighter silver wash there. I think his up[per thighs may be silver too.
I would have liked a really dark blurr though.

I am SOOOOO glad I am not the only one who remembers this show! I loved it! It was hilarious...anyone with a sidekick named Cursor is automatic win in my book.
Looking forward to Rodimus...looks very show accurate. On the Prime though, I'm sorry if everyone had talked about it and I missed it, but is he a new mold altogether? Looking at those arms, he looks like Popeye...
Fans Project Animated Can O' Spinach FTW!

Yeah, short lived, but really cool show. Cursor is the best sidekick ever.
Anyway, Wingblade Prime, is part a re-used mold, and part new mold FOR his Add-ons.
He's basically the Deluxe Earth version of Prime, the one that came with Megatron and had the black goo.
He has this thruster pack which we haven't seen full pictures of in alt mode and is supposed to be able to combine with Voyager Prime too.

I was pretty sure that the deluxe Prime portion of Wingblade is a whole new mold. I could be wrong, I'm too tired after class to go digging for the thread.

Vortex Blurr - Bet they write the bio as him being rebuilt from cubism to appease the Blurr's not dead fandom. -.n Decent. Black recolors aren't nearly as overdone as OMG SILVER VEHICLE lately.
Toxic Oil Slick - Can't even tell what's different, but that's besides the point. If you didn't get Oil Slick before, get him now, the figure is awesome regardless.
Rodimus Minor - Screw that. He shall be Rodimus Prime! Sentinel will get demoted for being such a jerkass! </random babble>

I recall reading that the figure would be a retool of the Battle Begins Optimus Prime, which makes sense since the BB OP has "battle damage" and Wingblade OP gets banged up in his fight with Megatron.

I don't remember Wasp having an underbite before his mutation...

As far As I knew, its the same deluxe mold. Maybe with some slight retooling to accommodate the forearm pieces, and the jetpack. Though if the Jetpack is supposed to be able to attach to voyager Prime, I'd think all the necessary connectors come from the jetpack.
Deluxe Prime
Anyway, I'm pretty sure the Prime is just the Deluxe Mold without the black goo/battle damage.

Wasp didn't have an underbite but his helmet armour did have a prominent chin piece:

It's not. It's the Voyager mold with slightly new molding. And it's going to be AWESOME.

No, the Wingblade OP figure is going to be a Deluxe Class figure with removable armor components that will be compatible with the Voyager figure. It Is Him wrote:Overcracker wrote:Razorclaw0000 wrote:I was pretty sure that the deluxe Prime portion of Wingblade is a whole new mold. The wiki says otherwise

Also, I distinctly remember this being discussed during Botcon discussions.

A Deluxe class figure in Voyager class packaging.

Wingblade Optimus Prime is a retool of Deluxe The Battle Begins Two-pack Optimus Prime in much the same style as Hydrodrive Bumblebee and Samurai Prowl. This retool is designed to represent Optimus as he appeared in "Endgame, Part I" and "II", and as such has his jetpack, and instead of the character's signature axe, a slightly scaled down version of the Magnus Hammer. In vehicle mode, the Wingblade jetpack folds down to become Optimus' firetruck trailer, but it is currently unknown how the hammer is stored. One can guess that it stores the same way as the two Deluxe Optimus' axes do—in between his legs. His Wingblade jetpack and Magnus Hammer are compatible with the original Voyager Class toy in robot mode, but obviously the vehicles are distinctly different shapes.

Bah! You're right! I even double-checked tformers to be sure. And you know, I was wondering about the packaging before. It makes sense to use a smaller toy because the new parts are so big.

The Wingblade Optimus Prime will be in the Voyager class size and Price Point.
However the figure itself will be a Deluxe Prime + The Jetpack/Armor
The extra jet pack is what pushes the figure into Voyager Class.
The Prime itself is a Deluxe class Prime.
