Fans have been aware for some time that the 90 minute "pilot episode" of Transformers: Animated will be coming to DVD on Jume 17th. Since then, questions have been raised about the release of the remaining episodes comprising Season 1 of the show on DVD.
TvShowsOnDVD.com answers that question today, as it was reported to them by fans that attended Botcon 2008 that an August release for Transformers: Animated Season 1 is planned, which will contain the episodes that comprise the first season, from "Home Is Where the Spark Is" to "Megatron Rising: Part 2", and will not include the "Transform and Roll Out" pilot. So if you haven't yet ordered that DVD, make sure to do so now.
And in the meantime, the Seibertron News Crew will keep you updated on any new developments

Not gonna include the pilot, but everything else?
If I decide to get this series, I'd just wait for a complete(and usualy cheaper) import.

Yeah, not really thrilled with how Hasbro is releasing the DVD's. Heck, even the animated panel guys didn't know anything about the DVD release at the convention. At least it's coming out cause after re-watching a couple of the eps on TV I totally want this season now.
