Below is the video to the Fan First Friday Transformers event but you can also see the images and descriptions of what was revealed below. None of these are for wide brick and mortar retail release.
We saw the G1 reissue of Blaster which we already knew was coming due to the Fan Vote. This will be a Walmart exclusive as with all G1 reissues. They also showed a Blaster shirt, exclusive to Hasbro Pulse.
There will be a weapons pack and Centurione Drone set, meaning that the image we saw earilier is indeed of a toy coming out. We also have an image of the weapons that drone comes with. It includes Roller, Megatron in Blaster mode along with a bunch of other neat things. This will be exclusive to Hasbro Pulse.
There is also:
Amazon exclusive Alternate Universe Optimus Prime
Selects Tigertrack
Selects Rotorstorm
Walmart exclusive Transformers R.E.D. line (G1, Prime, Beast Wars, etc.) - Optimus Prime, Megatron, Soundwave
Two other pieces of news were confirmed. Firstly, we will be getting an Autobot Clone two-pack and, secondly, the Transformers RED series will include characters from all different eras. So that Arcee listing will most probably be of the character from the Prime show.

I mean on one hand it'd have been nice for some of these had been included in what have been expensive figures (e.g leader siege prime...) but hey guess we're suckers

So this R.E.D series seem like the perfect chance to give us a more Cartoon Accurate G1 Arcee and it looks like they're going for the Prime version.
I wonder if Lazerbeak in Soudwave will transform or just be the worlds worst frisbee

And the only thing that slightly worries me now is that Beast Wars is only going to be celebrated by the RED line, meaning they won't transform
no no, we'll be getting another cheetor. Unless the data system walmart adheres to is a lie. I think I should make a list of all anticipated figures that have yet to be revealed. Lots of people are asking similar questions.

o.supreme wrote:I'm kind of surprised the Pulse exclusives didn't have pre-orders go up right away (maybe they are waiting until after the GI Joe panel is done?)...Anyway....Of the bunch the only one I'll probably be getting is the Drone/weapons pack. The rest were nice, but not in my scope for collecting. I would have just got the drone by itself as I enjoy the weaponizers, but the extra pack is just kind of a cooncidental benefit. It will be nice for my Earthrise Prime to be "complete". Not sure if the Megatron accessories are for a specific version, or just a "whatever you feel like" scenario.

No prices yet but the Hasbro Pulse site is down for maintenance and will be back up with the preorders at 1 pm ET which is 15 minutes or so from now.

The fact that the RED series is going to feature more than G1 is awesome, but they're still non-transforming 6" action figures.
The Centurion + accessories pack looks cool, but I kind of wish there were more just random guns, many of those go to very specific characters (or are very specific characters). The inclusion of Roller is definitely going to sell a ton of these.

True, but at least they are their own line. History would look back much differently on Action Masters had they just been a new line of non-transforming action figures, instead of the next step of the main line/fiction , and thus the death of the original series.
Can you imagine what would happen if Hasbro announced the 3rd part of the WFC Trilogy was just a bunch of non-transforming action figures.

Yep, limit 2, and due in October with Tigertracks and Rotorstorm due in November.

aronjlove wrote:Preorders are up and the Centurion drone with weapons is only $19.99!
After tax/Shipping it was almost $30, but that's fine, there was nothing else I wanted to make the order large enough to qualify for free shipping. Wow...seems like all this stuff, including Earthrise wave 2 and 3 are all coming between September and November....
BBTS also has Rotorstorm and Tigertrack pre-orders up, I wonder why no Drone...

How much do you need to order for free shipping (even though it's only 6.99)?

In general, Selects have been online exclusive but not necessarily exclusive to a particular retailer.

The drone set might not actually be Selects, and might be something similar to the Reflector 3 pack from last year that that was part of Siege but without a WFC number. I believe that was also a Hasbro Pulse only exclusive (at least in the US).
Selects is not mentioned anywhere on the drone Listing like it is for Tigertracks and Rotorstorm.

That is certainly possible, but the Reflector 3 pack was offered by other online retailers, as is the Drone apparently , just not by BBTS. (a previous poster showed a UK retailer offering it)

We would have to see the price for the others to know whether they are getting it directly or through secondary means, or even if they have to wait it out a little while. When the reflector pack was first made available, I'm pretty sure it was Pulse only at least immediately after the reveal. Could be a similar delay happening here where Pulse gets first crack.

Nope. I know of another guy on another board who was hoping the Centurion Drone would be Slammer, so you're not alone there.Skritz wrote:Am I the only weirdo who want Centurion (but can't have him due to Pulse, damn it) because he'd go well with Six Gun if you assumed he's a form of Slammer?

To be fair, the original series was already on it's last legs before action masters hit the scene (and only in America) so, action masters were just the last nail in the coffin

Exclusives are handled a bit differently over here in the UK (usually as in not available at all), Selects stuff is usually stocked by two big online reatailers that have a single BNM store (maybe other online retailers but havent checked).
The 35th anniversary walmart exclusives were divided between the two as exclusives (soundblaster/bluestreak, I think prime/megs was available at both).
Smyths is the biggest bnm retailer and have had the netflix stuff (seeing as their isnt any other competitiors like toysrus they dont really feel exclusive and arent highlighted as exclusives instore unlike toysus does -smyhts does lable some exclusives from other toy ranges like imaginenext as such tho).
Amazon UK is a big hit and miss and will keep exclusives that they only ever stocked a tiny amount of listed as coming soon forever and a day (thundercracker, greenlight etc) or seriously over stock so they can drop them to nice prices (Potp nemesis prime). even MP Baynus megs was cheaper than a studio series leader megs at one point so it is a very double edged sword.

With a new, but very G1-ey 'generic robot man head' it would have made a great Slammer.

Hasbro Pulse uses FedEx so I have no idea why they don't do international shipping. If they want to give a brick and mortar store the retail exclusive? Cool, whatever. But the way they position Pulse from a social media standpoint there is no reason international customers should be ignored.

No way of ordering a regal cobra commander over here yet, probably a rabbit hole I shouldnt have started but it will be hard to backtrack a collection by the time GI Joe Extreme characters start to show in the classified line.
