Firstly, this tells us we will be getting a transforming toy of this robot (something Brains never got), secondly that he is an autobot and thirdly that his name is Sqweeks (rather than Squeaks). That last part may be only for the toy, with the movie character's name being spelt differently for the film. The alt mode seems to be a vespa type motorbike.
Below you will find the full trademark application, found on transformertoysuk.

I'm not a fan of the movies, but this thing is absolutely adorable and is hence one of the few movie toys I'd want (aside from ROTF Bludgeon and Lockdown and the AOE dinobots).

When did they go away? Hell, outside Generations all of AOE's line were gimmick-orientated iirc.

He just means that the one steps will be back for the next film. But yeah ever sicne AOE, they ave been a mainstay on shelves. They are currently one of the main classes of RID.

Jes my favourite too, I just wished they made a damn movie where he is the main menace and not put on the side as a secondary vilain or only given 10 mins of screentime.

Agreed. I just hope they don't kill him off again only to bring him back again or horribly injure him to the point to make him slim pickings in the next. This is kind of why I used to like Revenge of the Fallen more because the character had more to do than the first movie. Given there was a good story reason why he wasn't that active in the first film.

That AOE line wasnt bad in the least. Not compare to DOTM. It was better and had some amazing figures like Hound and Evasion Mode Prime. Do you have those? Takara is really proud of their engineering on that line and I really feel it shouldnt be dismissed.

Sorry, I should have clarified a bit.
I don't have the figures you mentioned because they never got released in my area. All we got outside of TRUs (there aren't any near where I live) were the one-steps, shampoo bottles and the like. That was my main gripe with the line; despite having some great designs to draw from, and being one of the darker films in the series, most of the toys that got released were the simplified toys...and not even any Cyberverse stuff!
As for the "Generations" stuff, there were some figures from the line I actually wanted (notably Evasion Prime, some of the Dinobots, and to a lesser extent Hound) but again, I couldn't get them without paying through the nose. And a lot of the other figures from the line were just terrible- even the best version of AOE's Leader class Prime doesn't hold a candle to the WORST version of ROTF Leader Prime.
There was also the hideous lack of variety on the shelves. Former movie lines had lots of characters, including ones that never even appeared in the movie (including some of my favourites, like Stockade). AOE on the other hand got a redeco of Crosshairs as Tracks, and that was about it. All those KSI Decepticon drone designs they could have adapted, and not one of them got used. Heck, they could have redecoed/retooled past movieverse figures and gone "Hey, this toy is actually that guy!"- DOTM Shockwave wouldn't have needed much retooling to be one of those two-headed 'cons, Movie 2007 Swindle would make a very good car drone etc etc. That combined with the fact that, next to all those Autobots and Dinobots, there were a whopping TWO Decepticons in the Generations line (three if you count the exclusive redeco of Crankcase) and it kinda lost the touch the other movie lines had.
Re: DOTM: I only have two figures from the line (Voyager Optimus Prime and Shockwave, though I have handled Nitro Bumblebee) so I can't really comment, but the ones I do have are fine figures. Not the most accurate for sure, but they look good and have some cool engineering (Prime especially). The plastic isn't the best, but compared to the stuff more modern figures are made of...yeah.
I'm sorry, I was just really disappointed by the AOE line, in all aspects (mainly distribution admittedly).

Dont worry, that makes perfect sense
ANd I agree with your beef with leader Prime. I have a hge beef with the AOE Leaders. They reached a low point in cost cutting and weak designs.

I have since got some flip & change toys at sale trails and Galvatron at Bootsales though.
I also got some evolution series TRU exclusives and Drift but I never opened them.
I'm pleased with the Leaders I got though. they are a bit small but not bad toys - Grimlock isn't much fun though - to fiddly and kind ugly.
I don't have Hound - He was hard to get and I would actually like the boxed set one if I ever see one - in the mean time I'll likely be buying the enhanced KO anyway.
I will also eventually get an Overscale KO Evasion Optimus too - but I don't have the usual one yet - I kept missing it when it was on sale at TRU.
So AOE toywise was a bit of a non-event really - but then I hardly ever saw any Combiner wars toys either - and other Hasbro toys also disappeared such as the Marvel ones.

What? How did they reduce his huge back kibble? And why didn't they do it for AD31?
It looks like they finally realised the wheels need to fold in at a right angle flat onto his back (which was kinda obvious from the outset).

We could do with a post AOE Voyager Prime that isn't a KO. I think it's to well decorated to be a Deluxe though.
I can't wait to see the premium Deco version they will no doubt make in Japan.
-----
Oh and I don't personally have a specific "Movie Collection" they all get thrown in together from Rescue Bots to KO, and from Generations to Movie to 3rd party. That said I'd not say Movie toys are my primary Interest - since I don't actually even bother watching the Movies but I don't discount them either. I guess I got kinda relaxed to them as IDW's designs seem so much more exaggerated to me it kinda made the Movie stuff look pretty reasonable to me after that.

Wow, that actually looks pretty good! My guess is that it's a remold of the AOE one, but substantially upgraded. It is cool that his shoulder armor plates are actually their own thing, unlike AOE where they were formed by truck kibble.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking, FUCK! I dont want to own several leader Optimus toys using that Western Star Design. And while this one seems "better", we can see the listed paint apps and he will be bare bones with a ton of unpainted grey and blue plastic. Then again, its the same as with the original trilogy. The first leader wasnt screen accurate but it was fine, but then the ROTF leader was super screen accurate and then they kept rereleasing it looking better and better up until this fucking year where they are still releasing that mold and hopefully making it right this time. I wasnt collecting at the time, so I am just buying the latest one and calling it a day. But with this AOE design, I fear I will be stuck in a new version of that cycle where there will be slight improvements each year or so to the same design and I wont know when to put my chips down and get it. I jut dont want to own many of them, and I really like my AD 31, easily the best paint job of the last 5 years.
But this is an exciting time nonetheless. I just adore seeing these early designs and wondering how things transform. Its really fun with movie toys and with RID confirmed as still releasing toys next year aong with generations, there will be a bunch of leaks and products revealed for us to talk about. Looking forward to it.
But damn, he needs mroe paint apps.

Yeah but I am sick of paying for imports. TR actually did a pretty good job with paint in comparison, its too bad we seem to be going back into a rut.

Oh no argument there silly, thats why I was all torn up earlier. I like my AD 31 but you bet yourass I would have preferred getting that deco on a mold that doesnt have that insane backpack.
One thing to take note though, looking at those shoulder pins, this isnt a leader but more like a voyager. There could be a silver lining there since it wouldnt be like replacing AD31 and I could have a prime looking that way that scales with my OS Lockdown.

I actually was going to mention that myself that I think it's a voyager, but then again the peg holes in his hands look a bit too small... It's probably voyager though, which would actually appeal to be more.

You know what would be a better way to make Transformers more relatable to people? Maybe you should let them have actual personalities.
Freakin' Rescue Bots gets that right, and it's meant to be accessible by Preschoolers. And yet the big-money summer blockbuster series either doesn't understand or doesn't care that the Transformers are the main characters in most versions.
And yeah, I walked out of AoE wishing I'd never walked in.

In just the films, I mean, not in any external media.
(I'll ask nothing of the KSI Prototypes as they get a pass for deliberately being personality-less drones)

The wreckers (dotm) were stereotypical red-necks... I've legitimately got nothing on anyone else
