Thanks, I just printed. I'm just curious, is there a limitation or will it works at TRU store if I want to print this coupon more than one?
Also Zen, if you see him in NYC Timesquare TRU, let me know or PM me. Thanks.
EDIT:
Disregard, my question was answered from bradjfor of TFW2005:
The TRU coupon is one time use, but there is a way to get three coupons. Once you like TRU on Facebook, click the "click for your coupon" link and print. Print it and close the new tab that opened when finished. Then go back to your open Facebook tab and do it again. They allow you to print three coupons, each with a unique code, before a tab opens saying you have reached the limit for printing. So they are actually allowing you to print three coupons for liking them on Facebook!

i found Grimlock online loose with no box months after the release at a reasonable price (in china no less) and i'm sure the same will happen with Rodimus Prime.
You can't fail if you don't try.....or in my case get VERY VERY pissed off. I'll bump into him somewhere down the line..............i hope.

I don't mind paying $60 initially if I have to in order to guarantee getting it, but the way I handle that is keep an eye out for a better price via a coupon or whatever, buy it again, and return it on the higher-priced receipt. At least this time they didn't jack up the price as high as Grimlock. Thank goodness I had gift cards for that one.
FYI, spotted thread on TFW showed there were 4x at Golden Ring/White marsh TRU yesterday morning. One was bought at 10:15, second by me at 2:30, 3rd by someone else a few hours later. One was left after that yesterday evening.
I've also been told there might have been some others around, maybe you should check that thread if you are still searching.

Also, my target master was missing a pin. (pin connecting the hand grip of the gun to the main body. I used an old length of the plastic/metal TF twist ties and jammed it in there to substitute.

WHY doesn't hasbro just release enough of these toys that we want? Then they can make the cash! Just look at this thread, Hasbro. People are paying 80 dollars online to get it from the scalpers...
And the trend is going to continue. The cases for cyberverse wave 4 only have 1 EACH for Guzzle and Dark S Prime.
That's Guzzle, a figure that every fanatic of LSOTW is going to end up paying 100 bucks for because Hasbro doesn't want their money enough to print more than 100 peices...
What the heck, Hasbro? You did this with RTS too, including scout class toys that people are now paying 60 bucks for domestically and importing for 80 dollars!!!!!
I mean what is your problem? Can you not come up with a remedy for this issue?!
Doesn't anyone in your offices have the powers of perception to see the PROFITS you could make by mass producing enough of the toys collectors line the pockets of scalpers for?

Unfortunately, since Hasbro does not sell directly to consumers, it's out of their hands. Toys R Us is the one who decides how many toys end up at each store and when. While to some degree, Hasbro could be at fault if they're behind on production schedule, ultimately with an exclusive, they have an agreement to produce whatever the retailer agreed on, and once they have, the retailer's corporate office makes all the decisions. Toys R Us employees at each store have no control over what gets shipped to them--they simply put it out when it gets there. And Hasbro can only produce what the corporate office is willing to buy.
For more on these sorts of distribution problems, see this thread from a while back:
http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=75608
Right now, it's early, so it could be that Hasbro's being a little slow on delivering the goods to the retailer. And it's possible the stuff that was sold already was just a test wave so Toys R Us could determine how many they wanted to order total, based on the demand they saw. But soon enough that should be corrected, and Toys R Us might jack up the price to squeeze a few more dollars out of all of us.

?
And this is the problem. Its not the scalpers fault and its not Hasbro's fault. This is the collectors fault. Because collectors just can't say no. They can't say thats too much to pay. And they can't say I'm not buying from scalpers. They just keep on doing it and then complaining about it as if the problem will just go away on its own.
Collectors just can't suck it up and deal with the fact that they might not get something that they want. Every time a collector buys something from a scalper, the scalpers win and the collectors take a step backwards.
Its the same thing with 3rd parties, its the same thing with KOs, and its the same thing about scalpers. As soon as the collectors can say, I'm just not buying it from them and I'm not buying it for that price, the scalpers will start taking losses. And when they start taking losses, they will stop scalping.
Collectors as a whole mass group aren't very smart. They tell themselves they need these things. And then they blame the wrong people when they overpay. Its time to take a look in the mirror. Collectors are the only ones who can fix the problem of scalpers and over-inflated prices. But its takes collectors who can actually stand up and say I'm not paying that much. I'm not buying from you. I guess I just won't have one and I'll have to deal with it. When this happens, progress will be made.

Hmmm... that's close to me. Hopefully ours will have him. No dice on Saturday, though.

And that also applies to in store items which are overpriced.
So where does this actually help someone who doesn't buy everything who actually just wants to get a MP Rodimus Prime?

People are finding them in the stores.
Those that aren't should wait or politely ask someone to pick them up one.
It's pretty easy. Too much drama over this.

Until very recently people were still finding MP Grimlocks in TRU stores.
Rodimus is following the same pattern as Grimlock as well.
SDDC overstock sold out on HTS, first small shipments sold out at TRU online and stores.
Listing disappeared, etc,etc,etc......
All this happened with Grimlock too and eventually they ended up sitting around and more even appeared near Christmas time before slowly fading away.
So don't be dumb and overpay for something u will eventually see in the store(unless u arent near a TRU obviously)
People's memories can't be that short can they?

His face plastic looks kinda cheap (think raw gray instead of painted) but I haven't opened him yet. It's a compact package too. No waste.

They were keeping them behind the counter because of so few in thier hands. I had an accomplished feeling when the lady said "Tom, all Masterpiece Rodimus' are gone". With the 20% coupon it was $51 and change.

I used the 20% off coupon as well and it came to $57.34. I wonder why it's not the same price across all TRU stores, isn't it all listed in the same system? or are the managers allow to set prices for individual stores?

This TRU is on Long Island NY, I think the movie deluxe are at $11.99 but the Universe and Animated deluxe are listed at $13.99.

I also notice his matrix is much larger than Ive seen in reviews. I guess they used primes. It opens like his does. This may already have been mentioned but I never read about it.

Well, Times Square is always about 25% more expensive than anywhere else. I think most of New York is a bit higher than the average, so there is probably some latitude from store to store.

He actually comes with two. The large one is indeed the Optimus Prime version, and the smaller one is the one that fits within Rodimus Prime.
