We have a couple more releases to cover for the upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight home formats, courtesy of Toys'R'Us and Walmart respectively! First up, a Blu-Ray Combo Pack, which includes Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital HD and a comic called Mission to Cybertron (like the eponymous exclusive TRU toyline, of course) for $29.99. Then, through Walmart.ca, a similar media format for the movie, but the box also includes two diecast models of Optimus Prime's Western Star 5700XE truck and Bumblebee's 2015 Chevy Camaro. Check out images for both below!

Imagine being part of a secret society going back centuries containing great leaders, thinkers and other historical figures; and alongside their portraits painstakingly crafted by incredible artists is some shitty selfie you took 10 years ago for your facebook.

Yeah. It's sad that Shia is acting like he really did take a mental hit from that piece of the Allspark. His character was supposed to lose it, not him. Fame does strange things to people.

Agreed. Yet Mr. Bay warned us right from the go. Explosions and humor.
That actor shouldn't have different roles in the same movie series, I can't believe they did that.

The first Transformers The Last Knight panel, during the day on Saturday September 9th, 2017, starred Mark Wahlberg, Isabela Moner, Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, and Executive Producer/Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner. The 2nd panel, held later that night during the Transformers VIP event, switched Brian Goldner with legendary Transformers voice actors Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime) and Frank Welker (Megatron). We've collated both together in the clip below, as they discuss the cast, working with director Michael Bay, the choices and realities of working on a project this big, in this scale, and of this relevance to popular culture (despite final results, of course), and the importance and difficulty of creating sequels in a franchise. When Welker and Cullen take their place, on the other hand, we get some more insight into the dynamic between them as actors and their characters since the early stages of their career and a lot of voices seasoning the interview too. Check it out!

You mean how Stanley Tucci played Joshua Joyce last movie and Merlin in this one? They'd already done that before with Glenn Morshower playing Colonel Sharp (who got killed) in the first movie and then General Morshower in all the sequels minus AOE.noctorro wrote:That actor shouldn't have different roles in the same movie series, I can't believe they did that.

I've seen TV series do that. Jeffrey Combs played several roles in Deep Space Nine.

Hehe. The doctor and rose actually comment on that when they see her in tge stilen earth. Or the following one, i forget it's name. Multi spatial duplicity or something. But yeah, i have no problems with it. Doctor who did it all the time. Karen gillian, freema agyman, even colin baker did it. And capaldi played three parts including the doctor and made a pli point of it.

Those too! I will say though, it's very bizarre - but also very heartwarming now I know he was a huge fan of the series - to go back and watch Capaldi in Fires of Pompeii after 4 years of him as The Doctor.
Now, naturally, as I've said; this can be done convincingly - but other times not. So this begs the question since I haven't actually seen TLK; how different was this actor's new role and did he pull it off well enough that you didn't think he was the same guy?

Thus far, the first scene with Wheelie and the scene with the Vatti Transformer.Ironhidensh wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Reports are coming in that the digital copy of TLK has some parts of the movie missing.

Minor bits, yes, but there's no real good reason that they should be missing at all.

While the contest only features characters from the live action films, it's still enjoyable to make sure your favorite 'bot gets to the top!
It's run using a bracket system, and voting for the first round for the Autobot side has already ended, but the livestreams for Round 1 on the Decepticon side will begin approximately 16 hours from the time of writing.
See the website for the current bracket here, and make sure to keep an eye on the facebook page, here!
Place your bets on who wins it all down below in the Energon pub forums!

The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
Available to Download & Keep - 16th October
Available on DVD, Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray & 4K UHD - 30th October

In it is an interesting take on the gladiatorial arena from what possibly is Kaon between both Optimus Prime and Megatron fighting in said area. Which is a change up because Optimus wasn't a gladiator to begin with! The article is worth checking out for the concept art pieces alone, but it offers insight into the special features of the discs too as a refresher.

My theory is that Optimus would have returned to Cybertron after TF4 and would have been force to fight in a gladiator arena.

Since this is the only new thing I'm going to post some of the other Knight's of Iacon concept art.
The leader Knight which inspired the toy of Stormreign who is one half of Leader Dragonstorm, beside being red he doesn't look like this much in the actual movie.
This is one of the "generic" ones with a unused helmet design that seems to have inspired Drgonicus the other half of leader Dragonstorm
Cool helmet guy who basically looks like this in the film besides maybe some minor differences.
Don't think this design was in the film but he looks cool.
Helmet for many knights such as the small green Talisman knight from the beginning of the movie.
A Samurai knight (From Josh Nizzi instead of Furio) interestingly enough it seems like the shoulder armor inspired the red knight's shoulder armor in the movie which is pretty much the only unique thing about him in the movie besides his armor color
This one was one of many rough sketches from Wesley Burt not sure if anything about this is in the final designs but he looks cool and kinda looks like he could of been one of the many other Knights outside the main 12 (Green knight, Skullitron) maybe an Alpha Trion type.
Here is a screenshot of some of the final knights for comparison.

Insurgent wrote:Watching the opening again, i realised the red knight isn't part of dragonstorm. He's still talking to merlin and hands him th staff after dragonstorm is already airborne. Maybe he really is scorn who later was captured by lockdown?
That screenshot from the movie takes place during the modern day and not the past, the guy ain't Scorn.
The Knights are said to be 12 guys and not including green knight who is established to be seperate 3 were killed yet they still become Dragonstorm so I believe that you don't need all 12 to form him especially how they transform into him "ksi" style.
Plus knights of Iacon are not the same knights that The Dinobots and Prime are part of.
I don't see how any one thinks he is Scorn since the only things they share are red armor and even then in different shades their also different heights that's like thinking Canopy is Bumblebee just because their both yellow...oh wait people did think that.
