Wasn't SDCC Devastator announced to be priced at $180? I don't remember what the Hunters were said to be priced at. I did notice a small bit of text at the top of HTS that may be of some interest.

I know I was thinking of waiting for BLUE Bluestreak, but saving money and having the figure in a few days wins. $70 for an MP-11 based Starscream would make me think of parting with my Walmart MP Starscream..Also, let's get on with the other MP cars at $59.99 Hasbro! I'm glad that they are giving an actual date for the beginning of this yearly online hellish experience. Likely they have it 2 weeks later to allow for the product to ship back from the convention. Its such a niche deco aimed towards comic readers. But new heads (new characters) would have made the recipe for a better sell. Oh man, you are totally right! Hobbysearch is indeed the closest price to what you would get at Japanese retail. Here is Drift for instance at 2250 Y http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10333938

And at retail in Japan he was found for 2125 Y http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/june-takara-tomy-transformers-adventure-toys-available-and-found-at-japan-retail/33333/, so less by 1$.

Although I am still trying to figure out what the deal is with that inflated MSRP.
