aintitcool.com has got the first hand toy images of upcoming Transformers: Prime - Optimus Prime & Megatron figures. The images also showed the robot mode & alternate mode of the famous leaders.
Other than that, figures of the Autobots' human friends - Jackson, Miko and Raf are also featured. However, it seems like the human figures have no articulations.

Out of all of them, BB, Arcee, Screamer, the humans and Megs all look awesome. Prime looks terrible. Hopefully he is wildly mis-transformed.
While I won't get them for myself, it looks like the TF dad in me is picking up one of each for the boys.

The one TF: Prime figure I was excited for the most is the worst looking. Prime just looks bad, hopefully mistransformed a little. He looks like a scout class figure rather than a deluxe and the rest of the figures.
Megatron on the other hand, another mold full of win.

So does this grouping imply that the kid figs will come in an Op/Megs vs. pack?
If they are deluxes, then hopefully that Megatron mold will also be sold individually, since the amateur kitbasher in me wants to take a crack at 2 or 3 of them.

Prime looks a bit plain, but otherwise I'm pleased. Starscream still looks the best of all the TFP toys so far to me. And we're getting toys of the humans?! That's unusual for TFs, but I kinda dig it. Besides, Miko's hot.

After seeing that kickass Bumblebee figure, seeing Prime is a total let down. He looks awful! The worst part is his fake windshield chest. Ever since Movie 1 leader Prime, I never want to see another fake windshield chest. Those human figures... are stupid. I hate how every TF series has to have obnoxious children that hog up the screen time when all I want to see are the bots. Of course, they are made even more obnoxious due to the ridiculous anime hair

Megs looks great. Too bad by the time he hits shelves he'll most likely have lost all that nice finish and just be gray plastic.
Prime looks very bleh. I was worried how his CGI aesthetics would translate to plastic. Turns out not very well, at least for this size class. And he looks like he has the least amount of paint apps of the entire line so far.

Prime looks allright, some better pictures could really do him some justice though. Megatron looks great except for his head sticking out of the top of vehicle mode. Man, with the new Generations, RtS, DOTM and now Prime figures I'm gonna be broke

I have a very strong feeling that you're right. The figures both look simplistic and deluxe-sized. Given the accuracy and quality of the other figures we've seen so far, these figures aren't at all what I'd expect. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we'll get Voyager or larger figures of Prime and Megs. Hopefully we will, because I was hoping for a larger Megatron figure.

Yeah, I got a couple of those guys. I have Dante and Randal in my collection room, having a conversation with E.T.
I do think Prime is a little bland. I do like Starscream and Megs. I'm sure a few of these guys will end up in my collection.....

I'm in agreement with most here. Megatron looks great, while Prime is a little simplistic. The kids, I don't case about one way or the other, they'll just go in the box with the rest of the unused accessories.
I wonder, maybe these are just small intro combo pack versions of Prime and Megs, like the Battle Begins pack in Animated?

Gah, I hate Bayverse BB, and TFPrime BB is just too damn close. I hate Arcee as a bike... And I agree with everyone, Prime is pure junk. But I love Megatron and Starscream. I'll grab the kids simply because I'm a saddo who thinks they are interesting, despite ridiculousness.

Hm… Prime looks rather disappointing. Not awful; but clearly much less than he could have been as a Voyager class figure.
Megatron looks pretty good. In fact, this might be one of the best Deluxe class Megatrons yet. But a Deluxe class Megatron is always going to be disappointing.
Of course, if this show is anything like Animated, we'll see Megatron in another alt mode. And, like Animated, the subsequent alt mode may get a superior treatment. (In fact, given Megatron's “demise” at the end of the pilot miniseries, he might already be due for a different form.)

Really? Really!? You've got to be freaking kidding me! I was just laying awake in my bed (I'm sick anyway) thinking about how awesome the TF Prime Optimus and Megatron toys would look! I come and check this site, and sure enough there it is. What do we get? Optimus Prime looks like a freaking bootleg happy meal toy that you'd get at a gift shop who can't afford to make their own gifts, so they take a McDonalds toy, and recreate it with cheap plastic and sell it for 45 cents, and Megatron only looks decent. After the awesome Arcee and Bumblebee pictures, and the Ok Starscream one, this is what I get? I was always watching the show thinking of how awesome an Optimus toy would be! His smoke stacks and his wheels on his back is what really made me want him. But he has none of that! These had better be voyager class or mistransformed or something! Hasbro, you ruined Transformers FOREVER! RUINED IT!!! Every time I turn on my TV or computer screen, some one is ruining something forever! I swear, there is no escape!

The Prime toys look amazing compared to the DOTM ones (which in my opinion aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be.) They're surprisingly screen accurate and seem to have decent complexity. My only issue is the Optimus figure could be better. Hopefully they'll release larger and better ones because that Optimus seems to be deluxe class.

Prime and Megatron look great! I like Megatron especially, and I hope there is a leader of him. This Megatron really closely resembles Movie 1 Megs; that's fine with me considering he's my favorite incarnation, alongside G1 Megs of course!

Well, they can't all be winners.
With the Arcee being so Freaking Awesome, I was hoping for quite a bit from this set of figs, and for the most part it looks to be delivering.
Prime is pretty weak, but I'm not in love with his design in the show either.
But hey, on the bright side, the others all looked great, and I can always hope for a better voyager version.
.... looks at other news threads ....
After a quick compare of the new clip from the new show, this Prime and "Ultimate" fairy wings Prime; I think with a little work "Ultimate" Prime would fill in well for this version of Optimus.

I am surprised that Prime is the worst looking character so far. But it is not that bad. At least he looks better than the Armada and Energon Primes. This is also a obvious deluxe figure, most likely to be two figure set with Megatron like they did when Animated first debuted. There were also several different size classes of Megatron and Prime so I have no doubt there will be a larger, beter looking Prime to come out later.

Megs is the only one I like at all, but even then he's too curvy.
It will never happen, but I'd love for Hasbro to make toys of these characters, but minus the cartoony look. It works on screen, but not on plastic.

Awesome! I think I agree with the most of you on here..
Megs, absolutely fantastic!
the kids.. meh.. not a fan, but they don't annoy me as other kids have from previous series..
as for the Optimus Prime fig..
Why?? it looks like a freaking toy.. while megs looks like stone cold metal badassery!!
I hope the large class versions are more in line with the feeling of the show.. as in terms of detail and color..

Yup, definitly looks like deluxe figures. (balls joints on a voyager or leaderclass would be stupid) These are probably related to the animated battle begins pack. i hope to see bigger versions of megs and Prime though.

Do we have a new group of people working on the designs or something?
They are neat figures and I'll probably buy a couple to see what they are like, but the Prime does not look like the cartoon. I think he's a cool Prime, but he really doesn't have the feel of the series.
So far, I do like the others. I'll see what happens though as time progresses and I see more pics. I hate passing judgement based on one picture.
I really do miss the AEC era. Those figures were amazing. It's now my goal to complete the AEC collection. I get the feeling that I'm in for one heck of a ride on that goal.

If we get a voyager version of TFPrime Megatron I'll be interested - it might finally usurp my Classics Megatron even.
This deluxe though... Aside from being too small, something else just seems...
off.
Maybe after seeing Bumblebee's exaggerated shoulder:hip ratio Megatron just seems too modestly proportioned?
I'm not saying that you have to have big shoulders and a small waist to lead the Decepticons, let alone have to have
giant shoulders, and I'm reluctant to promote unrealistic depictions of robots like that, but Megatron looks off...
Ah! It's because he has big shoulders and big boots, but no neck to clearly mark the shoulders as being armored phallic symbols! Instead of looking like he's wearing a metal suit of masculinity, he looks like a relatively average guy who's had his head shrunk.
Instead of looking like this:
He looks like this:
Also his little head sticking out like a tank commander in alternate mode throws it a bit.

Optimus = Meh, I can live without that. Looks like its from a different line to all the other Prime stuff we have seen so far. Lacking in detail.
Megatron is the star of these two, though I think we know that he will be grey and not silver like the photos show, which will hurt him a bit.

Prime looks like it could use more refining but maybe it's just the angles the figure is shown in the photos. Definitely, like others have said in this thread, Megatron is the star of these figures. It looks great in both modes to me.

And so Optimus and Megatron are the serious lame ducks. That's kind of a letdown.
The prime just looks to be a lame scout figure. And while Megatron has a pretty clean robot mode, his alt mode suffers pretty badly.
I'm to tired to come up with anything valid...

Hmm. It looks like Optimus is a touch over simplified. Perhaps he could've used an upgrade to voyager. Vehicle modes' alright.
Conversely, Megatron looks great but I'm pretty sure his vehicle mode should be a bit longer. It looks a little squat to me. And I'm not sure his head should be visible. Overall, he's better than Optimus Prime, but not as nice as Arcee, BB, and Starscream.
The kids... probably packed in with their corresponding autobots. Nice detailing though.

Because the Prime, Megatron, and the kids are in one multi-pack. I doubt this will be the only Prime and Megatron we will be getting.
