That they did. Hasbro says a lot of things these days. Yup, a lot of things.

On a side note I was under the impression there was no supporting toy line for this series. But I'm not surprised there is going to be one.

You know, a finished looking figure picture this early, I bet this is the Arcee that popped up in Walmart computers. It is too early to be seeing these if they are for an October release. I'm thinking like they discussed in the Twincast that we are getting preview figures for TF: Prime. It only make sense. Hasbro can't really not have at least a sampling of Prime figures out there being the cartoon kicks off again this Friday. I don't see them holding out till October, they will at least give us the main Autobot cast in a preview line.
Now my hope is that the Starscream that showed up is Tf: Prime Starscream and not another Classics mold version (or the legends class one).

LoL at those people who believed a toy company would invest in 50 half hour toy commercials without producing a toyline.

Megatron Wolf wrote:Meh, not bad but not great either. Looks like it might have a cool transformation but the head sculpt sucks. Hate the way they did the animated movie combo look, they took the worst aspects from both and mashed em together.
I completely disagree. I think they took the best from both and mashed em together.

I hope this isn't related to those Walmart listings because I'm really looking forward to a Generations Arcee!! I will be seriously disappointed too if that turns out to be the case
The listing did say GENERATIONS ARCEE and suggested that she would be in one of the same waves as the upcoming Warpath figure, so I'm hoping that they're just showing Arcee a lot of love this year.

If I get her I know I will call her "Chromia"

Combine these. We are not getting a TF Prime line, we are getting TF Prime Arcee in Generations. They plainly said Generations would allow them to make toys for pretty much any TF iteration.
Personally, I'm a little annoyed, cause I just won an auction for a blue energon Arcee from the Target 2007 Movie line to give serve as TF prme Arcee. Oh well, back on eBay she goes!
And honestly, this new Arcee toy freakin ROCKS. spot on.

Yeah, the mass shifting in this series is unfathomable. Even Bulkhead gains much more mass that his vehicle mode would allow.

Why won't they crank out these before the movie toys? It's not like they aren't going to get shoved aside for shelf space anyway.

What would really rock would be if those arm plates could be put on the back or shoulders so she has that streamlined V look like in the show, but I'm already pleased and can't wait for October! I'll buy every toy in this line, especially Soundwave, Starscream, and Arcee
Posted by Sodan-1 on February 7th, 2011 @ 11:30am CST
I am disappointed that there's still no mention of an official G1 Arcee, but that is a damn fine looking figure. I sure hope they wait until late October to release these figures. Like, late October 2015. I'll definately get any Bulkhead they release, but do I dare not get the entire collection?

This figure is definitely a good Chromia. Or change the insignia and painted a little bit purple, she could be a Slipstream.

Yea, until they release a full roster of TF:Prime toys, she'll have a place in my collection as Chromia as well.
I really like the design and transform. This is a figure I'll be getting more than one of for repaints.
Posted by T-Macksimus on February 7th, 2011 @ 12:14pm CST
To start with, I hate the faces on the TF:Prime characters and seeing one done in toy version just makes it that much worse. Secondly, even though I should be used to it by now, I'm rather fed up with Hasbro jerking us around info wise. Yeah, yeah, I've read the explanation already about what they can put where and into what toy-line and why but to me it just comes across as justification for tolerating b.s. and corporate back-pedaling.
There's my monday morning gripe out of the way. Roll out the next toy so I can have something to gripe about this afternoon.

Guess I'll have to splurge on the Delecate Warrior version after all.

She actually looks good, and looks like the animation model, but better.
Hot damn, I might actually be impressed enough to buy these.
