Toy Fair 2012 Update - No Que, Soundwave or Target Leadfoot Releases Planned

I truly don't get it. We know they produced Leadfoots destined for Target plus TakaraTomy received their's, plus we saw a packaged Soundwave in both Deluxe and Human Alliance packaging. Why waste all that money??

Obviously the figures were produced. I wonder if Japan will make a Dino available? They seemingly don't have to worry about Hot Wheels and Ferrari, over there.

From their discussion, they bring news that there are currently no plans to release DOTM Que, Soundwave (both deluxe and Human Alliance) and Target-release Leadfoot at this time. The main reasons for this is what befalls many toy lines as they come to a close - retailers show more interest in the next line than they do in continuing the existing line. It is possible that the figures could see a release at some point, but at this point there are currently no plans.

In addition, there is apparently some interest within Hasbro to bring Takara Tomy's Arms Microns to the US, but there are no solid plans at this point.

I've been very frustrated with the retailers in my area lately for how they have been handling the restock of toys in general and Transformers specifically but I do have to say that Hasbro also could be doing better on their end as far as how they are handling the scheduling and release of their products.
