Canadian shoppers on Amazon.ca have noticed two brand new listings for upcoming Siege: War for Cybertron toys coming down the road. The first seems like it might belong to Omega Supreme, the only known Titan Class figure of the line, although it remains nameless only carried with the class title. The toy can be preordered right now at $249.99 CAD.
There is also a strange listing for a 'Commander Class' figure which seems to be outside what's known for upcoming releases. No name is, once again, given so it can be anything, but the price is $119.99 CAD. What do you think it is? Excited for some brand new figures? Let us know.
We thank TFanPage101 (known as ToxicSmoke on Seibertron) for helping us with the news and write up.

That Omega Supreme tho...

The mind boggles as to what this 'new' size class could refer to
Posted by kurthy on February 3rd, 2019 @ 2:24pm CST
Like it's going to be some light and sounds version of Siege Megatron with a simplified transformation but huge, like the Beast Hunters Optimus Prime.
Hoping for the best like an update to Star Saber or a combiner, prepared for the worst. It'll probably be somewhere in between.

As for what it could be, keep in mind Commander was used two times before:
- PCC, which was the 2-pack with a main figure and a Mini-Con
- Cyberverse, which was the larger of the two sizes, the smaller being Legion.
It could very well be larger figure with Micromasters, that's my prediction.

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:It's a new, non-standard, Size Class, but a silly question maybe you Canadians can answer: which two does it fit between?
Quick check and Leader class is $70-ish in Canada so these are an extra $50 over that, the same price as MPM-7 Bumblebee on TRU.ca and half the price of a Titan. I'm guessing these would be closer to $80 USD which is a rather high price point at retail so I imagine they're going to use it for something fans really want and they can build heavily on like Star Saber.

This is Siege, the all-ages that stripped pointless figure gimmicks, they wouldn't do something like this in this line. At worst it could be a Micromaster playset of some sort, but I don't think they've built up Micromasters enough to warrant their own playset (plus we already have Omega Supreme coming for that). Though I wouldn't rule out a figure with a base like Thunderclash that could easily be repainted into Optimus Prime later.

Based on only that Wildfly head on PotP Cutthroat.

Only because we had some evidence of parts existing on on PotP molds, not because of leaked listings or anything. And the price is much lower than existing combiner box sets so we can rule that out right off.

Ohhh, I thought the rumour was based on more than that
A Pretender Gestalt would work well with the SIEGE gimmick and given the size of the Original Monstructor, it could fit "Commander Class" quite nicely.
Oh well. Fingers crossed for Thunderwing or Dezarus.

You could be on to something there! What if it’s Countdown’s base? Parts could be used to weaponize or firm an alt mode?
Alternatively what if it’s a weaponized “leader” (like PotP sized). Versus the weaponized voyagers we currently have as leaders?
Armada Overload could be interesting a micromaster “hauler” and the trailer could be a larger robot or weapon parts. Like a super Cog

I am 100% certain continuity to the G1 cartoon to that level doesnt matter.
Sky lynx makes sense. It sounds ridiculously expensive for Jetfire, isnt he just leader sized?

Wolfman Jake wrote:I'm surprised that no one has brought up the $249.99 CAN price tag for Omega Supreme yet. That's about $189.99 USD, making Omega Supreme the most expensive yet that a mainline release Titan Class figure has retailed for in Hasbro's markets. Is this a cost adjustment similar to the increase in price of Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader Class figures, or will Omega Supreme be offering just a bit more value than the likes of the Cityformers or the larger Decepticon combiners?
I would read into that much yet since canadian mark up is often more than the actual exchange rate. plus, amazon tends to overprice early listings.
Until we actually know the US MSRP, I think we shouldnt assume that it will be a higher price point.

As for the stickers... That was the main reason I went for the SDCC Fortress Maximus, and was sad Trypitcon didn't get an SDCC release... those stickers are a pain in the butt....

that's a good point about continuity there. As far as size goes... if Skyfire retains his "size"/ability to store "autobots" he could be fudged a bit larger. I thought in Fire on the Mountain he kinda loomed over everyone, even Megs.

I doubt it as they already have tetra jets in the shape of Starscream and Skywarp (I recall him being revealed as an exclusive possibly) plus he was never a tetra jet in the first place as he never scanned an earth alt if I remember correctly.

I like the idea of a proper Sky Lynx with the electronics replaced with proper joints. However since Omega Supreme is expected to double as Countdown's shuttle base I doubt we'll get two space shuttles and launch pads in the same line.

What I'm imagining is a baseline robot that's roughly the size of T30 Jetfire, so that in robot mode he's roughly half again the height of a Voyager, but comes with a lot of add on parts proportional to those included with the Leader Class Siege figures.

To say siege had a price increase/proposeed costs of Omega, some of the prices lowered over here £17 for deluxes previously £18, leaders £47 previously £50. With less stores stocking them and even those retail stores that do like Smyths, do not stock in quantity so online orders are not possible. Amazon.uk doesnt even stock them, so buying through a third party seller is £24+ for deluxes! Expecting Omega to not be available in stores and around £160-£180 which then makes it more appealing to go third party

The UK tf scene is getting a bit dire if you stick to retail have you looked at prices on kapow/indemand/Forbidden Planet?

Yeagh Kapow & ID are the first places I check & usually order from, TFS express (omegalock) is another option as well.

I really quite like the Thrilling 30 Leader Class Jetfire, even though a lot of fans think of it as hollow and flimsy with "cheap" plastic. Now that the Leader Class size has been "downscaled" for SIEGE, T30 Jetfire looks closer to scale with everyone else, but he honestly should be even bigger to really fit the cartoon scale. I wouldn't at all be opposed to a Jetfire somewhere down the line that's maybe a bit taller than a CW/PotP standard combiner but still smaller than a Titan Class Devastator or Predaking. A wolfman can dream, right?

Astrotrain maybe, no way for the other two. Hasbro is trying to get robot mode scale reasonaly accurate, and making one of the Decepticon triple changers that much bigger than the others just wouldn't work. I think it is possible that it might be Broadside though.

If I remember correctly, he once had a fist fight with Devastator in the ocean. Even if we are dialing his size back he should still probably be bigger than Jetfire/Skyfire.

Two reasons why it isn't Primus or Unicron:
1. Scale. Bot mode scale matters now, those guys are way too small to be released again at mass retail (i.e. not as exclusives).
2. Price. The price of $120 CAD or about $91 USD is too low when TLK Primus was $150 USD and I think Platinum Unicron was $130 USD.

Thats cool tha the pricing rules out just another repainted Primuus, but I dont think scale is still all that important to the line (reflector being a deluxe)

To be fair reflecktor is going to be a small deluxe as so much of his plastic allocation is going to the accessory to form the barrel of the combined camera mode.

Realistically, making him physically bigger is the only way they are going to solve the many problems with Broadside as a figure. They couldn't have picked two more disparate alt-modes for him

Also, if you take another look a the original cartoon and some of the Sunbow art and scaling guides, Reflector should be bigger than a modern Legends Class figure and only just a bit smaller than a typical modern Deluxe Class figure. He's much taller than any of Soundwave's minions, taller than the Insecticons, taller than the Autobot Minibots, but just a bit shorter than the Autobot cars.
