The First Audio Cilp of Starscream?

Darn! Beat me to it. I just caught this over at the official movie board. I am very happy with that voice for Starscream. Hopefully the other voices for the TF they choose will be equally as satisfying.

That was awesome. Is that the official voicw we'll be getting for the film?

Because if it is .... it's perfect

Oh DUDE that was cool. DEFINITELY an improvement over Latta's, and dare I say Dobson's Starscream voice... Do we know who the actor is yet? I might have missed the memo... .>

This clip is definately "Starscream" enough for me. I don't know who the voice actor is, but I don't care - that clip seriously gave me goosebumps, and that's a good thing.

Chris Latta will always be the Starscream to me, but this clip definately sounds like a Starscream.

I love it, no doubt, but there is a section in the clip where he, or someone, says "The Allspark will be mine" where he loses his Starscreamy voice and sounds more human. Is that someone else talking or is that Starscream trying to assimilate different voice styles? I hope they don't glitch and use different itterations of human voices to get points across instead of just sticking to one voice.

Yeah that's definitely a perfect voice for Starscream. Good job Bay for making at least 2 good decisions for this film.

That so fits the personality we've come to expect from this character.

"The Allspark will be mine," right? If that's Starscream it's a good sound for him; it's the same idea as the original's, but doesn't sound imitative. As to whose voice it is... I'll leave my suspicions at saying I hope I didn't just sit on a cybernetic whoopee cushion.

Sounds kinda like Chris Latta only deeper and more sinister

Nice. They chose a good voice actor. Without the battle scene sound effects in the background and the usual Sector 7 "make it seem like it's real" crap, it'll be even better.

Doesn't Starscream have like 1 line in the film or something? He is like a minor, minor character.

It's kinda like people getting all worked up about Megs, he is barely in the film. A few lines at the end and that's it.

I hear ya OD! Chris Latta may be gone, but not forgotten.

New voice better than Latta's Windracer? C'mon man! Thats like saying Matt Damon will do a better job than Will Shatner in his upcoming role as Capt. Kirk. I don't think so.

We'll never get Latta's voice back for SS so I'm willing to give someone else a try. Still gotta see it and hear along with the visuals.

Okay, I'm confused now. Is Sector Seven an actual part of the movie or is it a separate website created only for the purpose of distributing movie news?

Looking at the past 'distortion' that they used for other released things from Sector 7, the actual voice would be where you hear "The Allspark will be mine". They have a habit of distorting things on that site(sound/video wise). I very much doubt that the first part is what he actually sounds like. That being the case, it flat out sucks.

I'm sorry but your transformer fan privileges have been revoked. Turn in your figures and other transformer related items, and hang your head in shame (Seriously thou, Latta was, is and will be the only real Starscream. Everyone else is just an impostor.)

I like the modulated and the unmodulated voice. Works for me as Screamer.

Michael Bay started adding lines for the Transformers just after they finished filming.

This voice rocks. And, although I may be shot for this, Latta sucked.

Yeah, I know, it's the voice he created, but it sounded awful. Michael Dobson did way better, and did NOT shatter glass.

All I've got to say about that is...BOOOOOOYEAH!!!!! Creepy, intimidating, definitely sneaky...it's Starscream alrright

As for Latta, I liked him, but always thought that Screamer should sound more devious and less whiny...he was just too high-pitched and annoying. The Armadergonertron one was an obvious attempt to sound like him but was still annoying. This doesn't sound annoying at all...and I have to second the vote that Mark Hamill would be perfect for the role...Everyone loves his Joker in the Batman/Justice League series..

A bit bland, which fits Starscream's design very well.

That voice sounds almost exactly like Scarecrow from Batman Begins. It's great.

I have to agree with you. I have a general dislike for this movie, but the voice actors seem to be above average, which is good and also surprising.

It works, I am so stoked we are getting a live action movie! but...

I am veiwing the movie as an entirly different entity. The G1 series is and will always be dear to my heart, but we can't go see this movie and expect the cartoon. Its going to be what it's going to be, a crazy CGI effects movie. Maybe for the sequel we will get some one who knows Transformers and the characters. Who grew up on them. Not just some hollywood guy who makes blockbusters for a living. Alas, probably just wishful thinking.

That sounds like Tom Kenny to me. Maybe we got Heroes and The Movie mixed up when we found out he would be doing the voice of Starscream?

Oh also. That voice beats the shit out of Latta's version. No longer is SS a whiny woman with laryngitis.

Sounds pretty good, but I will have to actually see SS speak to judge properly.

I gotta agree, I think it's Tom Kenny, I hear a bit of Spongebob in the voice.

Also, I preferred Latta as Cobra Commander, at least he was funny and insane in that, instead of just whiny in Transformers.

Pretty cool voice. Nothing matches Chris Latta's immortal voice, but this is quite good.

I also like how Screamer wants the Allspark for himself, which pretty much confirms his old conniving personality and relationship with Megatron is still in tact. That wasn't in the early leaked script, and it's a relief to know that the writers weren't lying about adding it in later.

Where did this clip come from? They said it came from the Sector Seven website? Which password should I use to access that?

Needs more voice effect but that was cool. I want to know who is voiceing him. To bad Latta aint around any more. In my book Latta is the real Screamer.
