Here's the latest image of TFClub's WWII themed figures courtesy of their micro-blog. This image confirms the figures are indeed combiner limbs for what would appear to be a PCC Commander figure, most likely Bombshock based on the silhouette. Take a look at the mirrored image below.

quite like em. I don't have any PCCs but giving the limbs robot modes, and making them actual limbs, well, that might convince me to pick some up.

well i already have bombshock...so these if the price is right will be a definite. and he will be taller which will also be a plus. seems the original pcc's were maybe what voyager sized? when combined hopefully this will be a little better.

Have these dudes actually made anything yet? Or do they somehow make a profit from preview pictures?

They made those crappy targetmasters along with weird sounwave and Optimus headmasters.

I think they are taking on too much at once. They need to concentrate on one thing at a time.

Not exactly HoS, but still antique alt. modes. I am very interested to see how these turn out. Wish these guys would focus their attention on Not Devastator though.

They also made those weapon sets, one of which included an autoscout, which turned out pretty good. But yeah, they should focus on one thing at a time.

That said, the fact that these are combiners has me a lot more interested, depending on the price.

Yeah, it's based on the Kyushu J7W, a prototype interceptor for the Imperial Japanese Navy.

MR Optimus Prime wrote:I think it is odd that a WWII American tank and plane, and a German tank and plane would be on the same team.

I don't think that second tank is American, but rather Russian. Can't really id it though. The last plane, as I pointed out, is definitely Japanese though.

Here's a little cut down on the confusion;

It is indeed that an Allied Powers tank and plane would end up being on the same team as a pair of Axis Powers air- and land-defense/offense vehicles. See how I did it there?   Sorry if I sound like a smart-ass.

I should be loving these PCC limbs with both robot modes and vintage alt modes, but the combined mode is too symmetrical for my tastes. Granted the Hasbro version is so asymmetrical that it can barely stand, but the drones were nicely varied. Here, it's reminding be of the 5-teammates-but-only-3-molds Energon combiners.

They also put out the Battle Rollar/Shadow Rollar set and the MP Starscream set. I have the Shadow Rollar and must say that once doing a bit of tightening on the ball joints it's great. Plus it came with a classics style red LED gun for Classics Nemesis Prime, and the upgrade parts for it to work with MP Black Convoy(he looks awesome holding it and the light is fairly well done.)

As for these, unless they are overpriced as all get out(I think $60 for all four would be a decent price) i'll pick them up. Have a TF/GI Joe homage mini-Bruticus to go beside my KO WST Bruticus & FP Bruticus.

These look pretty neat and would be a buy at retail prices, but at 3rd Party prices...just doesn't look THAT cool. I give 'em an A for effort, though. At least they have bot modes and become limbs.

Tf club toys are usually available at the usual retail sites, BBTS, TFSource, etc.

Despite the name it's not an actual club, just a 3rd party company.

Wow, what class acts. Breathing new life into something that didn't deserve to live in the first place.

And they wisely choose one of the better figures to do this with. Next to FP Bruticus, you shall be my TFClub Ruination. I'd love to see them do more with this. my wish list is a boat team for Undertow and racer team for Leadfoot.

IMO, those three are the real stand outs in the PCC play pattern. A couple made decent characters without the combiner thing, but the rest were somewhere between meh and buh.

I know what they're doing....
It's so easy to see and they want our money...

I'll let you guys in on a secret...

1. they let you buy 2x tank 2x planes + upgrades
2. they wait... long enough
3. they make 2x armored vehicles + 2x helicopter!!!!
4. you see what they did there????

:-?

We have new color CG renderings of the upcoming TFC Toys WWII themed Transformers series thanks to HK-TF.

These are not based on any particular Transformers but have been confirmed to be new limbs for Power Core Combiners.

As shown in the images the tanks are based on the T-34 and Tiger 1 while the planes are based on the P-51 Mustang and J-7 shinden These are not final images but give an idea how the color scheme might be. No word on pricing or release date yet.

PCC limbs WITH ROBOT MODES?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

AWESOME!!! This will go down in history as the textbook example of a third party company making a common sense improvement where Hasbro cut a corner!

And it'll drive up demand for PCCs...which sucks for me because in SE Michigan I have yet to see any new ones beyond the Darkstream/Steelshot repaint wave, so I'll probably have to pay inflated secondary market prices for the whole second half of the line. Sigh...

I really want those, but I'm afraid they'll be too expensive. I'd pay like $50 for the set, but I have a feeling they'll be more than that.

These pieces finally give me a reason to think about buying PCC TFs. Got a question though: Are these the same guys who are doing the massive custom Constructicons/Devastator set? I already confuse TFClub with the OTCC (Official Transformers Collector's Club). If they are I'm still waiting for them to complete and hopefully mass produce the Constructicons/Devastator set.
Re: TFClub WWII Style PCC Figures (1215147)

I'll be picking them up as I am a sucker for combiners. Only have the Combaticons and Destrons but they're pretty damn lame in combined mode and Bombshock reminds me of my nephew dressed in his little camo outfit when he was just starting to walk. Seriously to me Bombshock looks like a pudgy little baby about to do a fast waddle across the living room floor and then fall right on his face before he gets all the way across.

Anyway......If these do well enough I can't imagine they won't continue the PCCLI (Power Core Combiner Limbs Line)
If it does, I would guess we'll be getting at least another 4 or 5 sets.

While I am amused, I must confess laziness as I did not read 7+ pages of postings. My question is if this is supposed to be a combining team, what will be the body? a heavy bomber, naval frigate? And why would a gestalt team have different national allegiances? I could understand if the were all allied, or axis, but a mix? Why? it does not make sense.

I would have gone with American and British aircraft, and American and Russian tanks. If finances allow I'd love to get my hands on the T-34 and P-51 Mustang.

Oh, daddy likes!

The colors are fairly accurate to the vehicles they're based on. I'll be interested to see them once they're further along, and the final price will be a factor, but these are tentative "Get!"s.

There's another image that shows them combined with what looks like PCC Bombshock/Steelshot. As to why it's mixed nationalities? I don't think it would matter to "real" TFs, so maybe the designers just picked their favorite designs?

I've been a loyal follower of the PCC line since wave 1 hit. I hadn't messed with the repaints, but I went out and bought Steelshot just in case they look better on him.

I will own these, no matter how little I get to eat.

Short answer? no

They are one of about a half dozen projects that TFC Toys have shown but haven't been released. My guess is that they have their hands busy with Hercules for awhile.
