Doubt it. Hasbro sold those rights to Fun Publications. So, Takara would need to buy them from Fun Pub.

A regular release is thus, unlikely. I wouldn't be shocked though, if Fun Pub sold them to Takara to use at Japcon.

Well they do not need an orange tip there, so this one is going to better right there. I am definately grabbing Megs and SS as they were poorly executed in the US.

It's about time the Japanese gets a taste of these beautiful toys.

They've been soaking in Reissues and Encores for far too long.

Aww poor them, soaking in enroes, reissues, ehoobys, MPs.....

But yes, lol, except that any collector there has already probably imported these from the US.

If you'll remember, though, the same problem arose awhile back when they had a limited release of a "Hot Rod" repaint of Galaxy Force Excilion. It was so well done, a lot of American fans wanted a chance to get it. However Hasbro couldn't for the same reasons, so instead they did a similar design, but not exact, & now we have Cybertron Excelion.

So it could very well be possible that we'll see 3 other seekers, but if we do they won't look exactly like the Botcon versions.

Mine's face paint is pretty good. But the other paint-apps seem to fade away pretty easily.

No it was GC - Galaxy Force Cyberton and GD- Galaxy Force Destron. However I believe Primus received the C-00 designation.

Who knows we might get some better/more show accurate paint apps out of Takaras crack at this line so bring it on. I might actually buy a few more this time round.

This is great news, but ouch these prices are going to hurt. These inflated prices seem to be in line with the prices that Takara charged for the movie toys. The movie toys were made in Canada and imported into Japan. I'm guessing the same thing will happen with the Classics.

I'm sure it's been reused a few times. I know for a fact since I have my shiny new C-27 sitting right next to me it was used for Beast Wars, and the checklist goes from C-1 all the way to C-50.

Made in Canada? Darn! How come US Movie toys are made in China?

I got one Japanese Movie toy. How come he's made in China too?

As well as all my original Takara Binaltechs. All made in China.

I haven't had a TF toy yet that is NOT made in China.

3 Wishes when it comes to this...

1. Megatron gets his Silver paint applications with red and Black..no orange cap... that would sooo rule over all others..

2. Optimus Prime Voyager gets a remolded shoulder with Autobot symbol...

3. The Seekers all get released, and if they have to differ slightly from Botcon then fine by me.. but I would love to have them finally!!!

It's not odd. They are created for different series.

Starscream and Skywarp (very nice) were created for Classics, with the usual improvements, plus a more creative paintjob. The basic goal is to mimic the cartoon closely, plus a measure of realism.

Thundercracker (not so nice) was created for BotCon Exclusives. It was made to look like G1.

Ooops! Sorry!

Come to think of it, the Japs just might do some modification. Like the difference in smokes stacks of MP Prime.

I just noticed both Starscream and Skywarp have a new style of body trim whereas Thundercracker is the only one to retain his G1 stripes. How odd.

It was made to look like G1.

honestly the Botcon Thundercracker looks the best, IMO...

I agree.
