I already have the blue one on pre-order lock down, but this yellow one now has my eye as well. A two pack you say brother Jak? To the AmiAmi cave!
Edit: thanks for the link you sly dog!

It's not my thing, but it's nice to see.

So, it was a little confusing trying to post this. The red and blue are up for pre-order everywhere, separately. And BBTS has the yellow and (seriously is that grey?) up for pre-order as a 2-pack, and that's the first official anything I've seen on those two. And the military greens are shown together on the TT site, while the red/blue are separate, leading me to believe that the commandos are also a 2-pack. But the TT site doesn't show the yellow/whatever in any official capacity besides "background".Cobotron wrote:COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! With a capital K!

The original Powered Suits came in three variations, and either came in red or blue. Sculpt-wise, the arms (but not the fists!) and legs were the same.

I've been thinking. At first I was all in for this Diaclone line, but now, seeing that the line could be endless with slight modifications, I just don't know. This might end up costing me more than I'd like to spend....

I'm having the exact same mental/emotional/financial dilemma. That white knight looks amazing, but for the money I shelled out on the first one I'd rather get an entirely new but compatible robot, or at least one with more retooling and/or new parts.shajaki wrote:I've been thinking. I may hold out to see what comes from some of the other models we saw a while ago.

Waiting for Big Powered. I'm not also into these "limited" repaint versions too.

Agreed, agreed and agreed.
I enjoyed my V2 but for the price points its hitting, I would prefer Diaclone reissues of pre G1 color schemes; i.e. Blue Swoop or Red Skids.
I am glad the first V2 is in my collection but the TF related items would entice my spending a lot more.

Just to give a sense of size and scale.

I just purchased the colored red version (L2016) only 'cause I thought the gray one was a lazy re-color. It was actually a different mold?

Not entirely, only the chest compartment is different.
And I just noticed DA-07 Cosmobattles 2. It's a retooled center component, based on the DA-06 "Cosmic Maneuver" release.

It isn't, unfortunatley. Even the newer larger bots are retools of DiaBattles. Heavy retools, but at he core, retools. It's kinda bringing me down.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:It looks like Diaclone isn't safe from retoolitis. Let's hope it stays limited to the Powered Suits.
Thanks for the links Fen!
I'm confused though. Ages 3 and Up has them listed in two packs. At a pretty decent price considering.
But AmiAmi is selling them individually.

I knew you'd show up. Maybe Ages 3 and Up wants to make sure their entire case would be sold.
This time I ordered the both of 'em.

Ages 3 and Up aren't selling them in a two-pack, according to the product description:
"*Set C and D shown in picture. Set C sold separately."

I like the red and blue pilots. They look good like that.

I, too, like tracking the discussion on this topic, looking at the great images coming out. But, I'm not sure I can go all in on Diaclone as my TF collection is already close to out of control....

Sorry, still discovering the forum. We have our own technologies in france, I'm not accustomed to phBB a lot.
Cobotron wrote:Oh, c'mon guys just one little taste. What will it hurt?
I just made the (small) jump, just ordered a Powered Suit System Type B.
I'll see how I adhere or not.

I think I found the fastest ebay seller ever. And I'm in france so it was international shipping.
First thoughts : This is....
So damn small !!
I was aware of it, but having it in hands is diffferent. The pilot is some awesome incredible engineering.
What size is the Dia Battle compared to a TF ? Voyager class ? Leader class ? I think I'r
ll definitely go for it. I just have to decide which version.
Posted by Cobotron on June 7th, 2017 @ 6:18pm CDT
The picture at the end of this review has a decent size comparison. He is as tall as a Masterpiece car bot. If you don't have one as reference, average Voyager Class size.
Do you like the suit? I was shocked by how small they are too, but think they are great fun. If you scroll up on this page there are two things you might want to check out. I posted some pics of a suit with DiaBattles, and also Fenrir posted a link to the re-release of DiaBattles that is the same as the first with some color changes and added coolness. I think the price is good. No more than he was originally.

Ooooooh the Moon Base is soooooo sweet looking. I had to call it at the first one I got due to expense. They're all pretty awesome, and all based on the original sculpt so the play is all still there.ExciKaiser wrote:I think I'm more hesitating between the MoonBase version and the new Space Maneuver type.
I'm just waiting and hoping they come out with a newer design, before I jump back in.
I don't think you can go wrong with any of the bots that are currently available.

Diaclone DA-12 Powered System Set Gyrocopter
Diaclone Reboot - DA-13 Powered System Dirt Loader
More images at both the links above.
These look pretty darn cool!
Posted by shajaki on July 8th, 2017 @ 6:50pm CDT
Retail Price: 27500 Yen (Approx $240 USD)
Release Month: November-2017
Size: 40 cm
Not included, but made to accompany Big Powered, is "DA-15 Big Powered Trooper Set". It's motorbike of sorts, with three human pilot figures.

Speaking of the Diacron Expo 2017 (taking place right now at Akihabara), there appear to be Exclusives. First is "Dia Battle V2 Head Unit Collection" which is an alternate head for the Dia Battle V2, this time with an orange visor and antenna made of ABS plastic as opposed to the softer type used in his original release. Second up, is "Powered System C Type Solid Scan Ver" which appears to be a clear version of one of their Powered Suits.
Up next we have "DA-13 Powered System Dart Loader". It can work as a vehicle for the human pilots, or can combine and augment the Powered Suits. Also along the same lines, there's "DA-12 Powered System Gyroscepter" offering the same playability.
Retail Price: 2500 Yen (Approx $22 USD)
Release Month: October-2017
Size: 10 cm
Retail Price: 2500 Yen (Approx $22 USD)
Release Month: October-2017
Size: 10 cm
And lastly folks, we have a bit of a mystery. This appears to be a newly winged variant of Dia Battles V2. This Diaclone Reboot line does like to release variant's of DBV2, but this could also turn out to be a custom as there's no other information we can provide at this point.
