Site sponsor Kapow Toys has shed a little light on the recently revealed Takara Transformers Prime Arms Micron individual Micron listings. Below we have images of AMW-01 through AMW-10. As you can see these are a mix of the Arms Microns included with the actual Arms Micron figures and new molds. AMW-01 through AMW-03 combine into a sword, while AMW-7 through AMW-09 combine into a shield. The Kapow Toys pre-order page can be found by clicking here.
They've updated their pre-orders for AM-15 Darkness Megatron and AM-16 Jet Vehicon with much clearer images.

More things that might never make it out of Japan. Wonderful.

I also hope that the rest of the Partner molds make it into this assortment down the road.

I'm keeping my preorders too.

EDIT:
Okay, that's better. So happy they're selling them separate. $8 a pop is steep, but it beats paying $30-70 for only one paired with a toy you didn't want.
Is Takara known for Photoshopping their picks? This release of the scorpion looks sweet.

Oh, I hope that doesn't happen. As these molds would be less unique if that were the case.worldsgreatest wrote:I wouldn't be surprised if the 'new' microns are all included in with the MA figs that were just solicited, but have placeholder images.

Same. I want Optimus' partner, but not sure I want to spend $60 to get it.

Actually, I have a feeling they're all repaints. We already have knowledge of 20 Arms Micron releases with only 10 out of the 21 Microns thus far properly identified.

I dunno. these Newly-revealed Micron molds look like they were designed specifically for their 3-weapon combinations while the ones part of the regular AM series look more like their combo weapons aspect was more of a bonus added to their resembling the weapons of their larger companion figures.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Gearslide wrote:..So, they're NOT the same figures that come with the Arms Micron Takara toys, but entirely different figures (unless you don't count the 4 repaints).

I like them. I like putting them together. I think this is an interesting new way to collect TFs.

Are AMW-02 & AMW-03 supposed to be anything in their individual alt modes, and, if so what
And what the hell is AMW-01's "robot" mode? Some kind of insect?

AMW-02 is a hawk, AMW-03 is a Crocodile.
I can't tell what AMW-01 is though.
Anyone notice that EVERY animal-based Micron has one-eye, and EVERY humanoid Micron has two eyes?

Yes, I can see that, but what do the hawk and/or crocodile transform into (other than a third of a sword)?Gearslide wrote:AMW-02 is a hawk, AMW-03 is a Crocodile.

Looks to me like a butcher's cleaver and a 4 barreled gun, respectively.

OK. I can get totally get behind a robotic hawk that transforms into a cleaver.
So I was looking at my BBTS pre-orders, and there seems to be a pattern:
AMW-01 through AMW-03 are original Microns that have a third, merged mode, and are due in July.
AMW-04 through AMW-06 are all repaints of previously released Microns, and are due in July.
AMW-07 through AMW-09 are original Microns that have a third, merged mode, and are due in August.
AMW-10 is a repaint of a previously released Micron, and is due in August.
Wanna bet we'll see two more repainted, previously released Microns in September?
The big question for me is, are the Microns that come with Optimus, Bumblebee and Ratchet ever going to be released as repaints or not? I have very little interest in owning the Takara versions of these molds and would pretty much only be buying them for their Microns....

If they hold pattern, I hope 1 will Megatron's gorilla.
Posted by metaphorge on April 20th, 2012 @ 1:49pm CDT
I'd be willing to bet that is the Micron we're least likely to see get an independent release, since it appears Takara is already double-dipping it by including it with AM-15 Darkness Megatron:Requiem Prime wrote:If they hold pattern, I hope 1 will Megatron's gorilla.

Yeah, but that version of Gora is a different version. Look at how it's missing the sword blades that come with the Deluxe version.metaphorge wrote:I'd be willing to bet that is the Micron we're least likely to see get an independent release, since it appears Takara is already double-dipping it by including it with AM-15 Darkness Megatron:Requiem Prime wrote:If they hold pattern, I hope 1 will Megatron's gorilla.

Huh, so it is; furthermore, I don't see the connectors for them, either.Sabrblade wrote:Yeah, but that version of Gora is a different version. Look at how it's missing the sword blades that come with the Deluxe version.
It seems kind of insane that Takara would bother doing a retool; if it turns out this is a whole new version of Gora I will conclude that PCP has become popular at corporate parties in Japan, especially since it's already been demonstrated the presently released Gora works better with the Voyager mold than the Deluxe mold it ships with....

01 goes from a crab to a crossbow, and 09 is part lance, part spear, and part drill. Also, the bat and gorilla come with Megatron.
