TFYuki is Hisashi Yuki, not Hideashi Yuki.
Also, when did MP Star Saber get the designation of MP-25? We still don't know what designation he'll get as far as I've heard. Ultra Magnus is MP-22. Granted we don't know if Star Saber will be MP-23 or something higher yet, but last I heard he wasn't stated to have a number yet.

It really is interesting to see how everything is sizing up! I want this sucker badly

*Smallest TF's are the WST line, specifically, Bumble Bee or Ravage, lol.

I was wondering where MP-25 came from as well... For all we know, it could have its own numbering system like the movie 'MP' figures. But if site staff know something we don't, then who the hell is MP-23 & 24? Spill it!

I'm getting a bad feeling that MP-23 is the brainmaster unit, MP-24 is Saber, with MP-25 being Starsaber.
Anyway, I think we'll be seeing a Victory Leo and possibly a Dai Atlas in the distant future.

They wouldn't give separate components of a single Masterpiece release individual ID numbers. When Rumble and Jaguar were packaged together, they were both given a single ID number of MP-15. Likewise for Frenzy and Buzzsaw together as a 2-pack being MP-16.Madeus Prime wrote:I'm getting a bad feeling that MP-23 is the brainmaster unit, MP-24 is Saber, with MP-25 being Starsaber.
As far as can be told, the "MP-25" thing is incorrect (no offense intended towards the news crew).

You're talking about something that is half as tall and half as wide as the Armada minicon Ramjet figure. This is a fgurine that would be the right size to fit onto a HotWheels car, or an HO scale model train. Which is 1/87th of your size. To put it bluntly, and with as much sarcasm as possible:
The hell else do you want??

Dr. Wu is a 3rd party company, those guys can charge as much as they want. They aren't tied up as much as Tomy has to deal with costs despite the typical stereotype against multinationals/big corporations short selling us.
Remember how there were such big plans for UM? But costs was the primary concern in one of the interviews released.
And one thing, just what else can you add to such a wee wee figure? Head articulation? Remember, he already carries the face/brainmaster gimmick etc.
Besides, if I/you have Starsaber now, I'd be playing with his default/super mode over the Brainmaster.

I'm saying it's possible and feasible to give a small figure articulation. I'm sorry if you enjoy the crappy Spike that doesn't even look like Spike or have a face (!), but wait, not sorry.

FACE PALM!
Nowhere did I say I enjoyed the MP-10 Spike figure to a point of putting it on a pedestal.I used it as an analogy about incorporating too much impractical features to an accessory that will, if at all,add to the awesome playability of an already great product....the MP-10. I bought MP-10 for Optimus! Good that Tomy included Spike........period. Could they have put more articulation? Maybe? Add more facial details? Doubt it....the scale is just too small (by the by, if you mean details like the figs in Human Alliance.....well no thanks)
Speaking of details, I'd rather the type used on the KISS Players figs.

This!
Now that the OP started the ball rolling (note sarcasm)concerning the Brain of "Courage" lack of features. Here are the features I want to be added to the Brainmaster
1.Full 360 degree head rotation
2.Hip swivel
3.Light piping eyes
4.Shoulder and elbow points of articulation
5.Fist can be rotated, fingers poseable can grip weapons
6.Thigh, knee and feet fully articulated
7.Detailed paint apps on the face which can be appreciated with a magnifying loupe
Did I miss anything else

Seriously, given that size, I seriously wonder just what else can you add to the "brain". Not that he ever showed up in the show except during the combination sequences. It seems that Tomy will just focus/enhance the MP based on what was shown in the cartoon. UM for example never showed up as naked and white Optimus so they got their butts covered by having n MP with no core robot (too bad that Lambor didn't come with a rocket pack.

They're Saber and the Brain
Yes, Saber and the Brain
One is a swordsman, the other's just plain
Stands in the chest in place
Turns into his face
They're Saber, they're Saber and the Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain
Before each fight is done, they strive protect us
Fighting all Decepticons, they'll defeat Dezsaras
They're Saber and the Brain
Yes, Saber and the Brain
The V-Star shows up, to let them "Battle Up!"
As Star Saber strikes first
He'll save the universe
They're Saber, they're Saber and the Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, SAY GO!
EDIT: Two more size comparison pics. This time it's Saber in his torso configuration for his "Battle Up!" combination with the V-Star to form Star Saber:

What about it is not to your liking? Based on when this comment appeared, I wondered if there was confusion about the V-Star being G1 or MP. Was there something in the newest prototype pics? (Just looking for clarification on the original comment, and hoping to smooth some things over. )

I had already posted before the decision was made, I apologise for that.
Ryan's point still stands: we will not post any further size comparisons on the front page, unless they reveal something entirely new, or it's a full-colour shot.

As Sabrblade has said, that puts him more-or-less cartoon-accurate scale to the upcoming Wheeljack in small form.

It's only the toy's Saber form and the Brain of Courage that are smaller, and that's for the sake of show-accuracy.
In the cartoon, Saber was the same height as Perceptor, who was the same height as Wheeljack:

I'm with OptimalOptimus2 on this. Saber and Yukio are too small. Star Saber combined looks awesome, and it's great that Saber is the same size as the Autobot Cars in the Masterpiece line, but some times the cartoon "scale" needs to get tossed out the window. Bumblebee should've been bigger too.
