Well that didn't take long! Just yesterday we reported that Amazon Japan purchases of Takara Tomy's upcoming Transformers Masterpiece MP-20 Wheeljack would come with an exclusive Anti-hypnosis Device accessory, we now have an image courtesy of the Planet Iacon Facebook page.
For those unfamiliar with this device it was one Wheeljack's many inventions from Sunbow's original Transformers G1 cartoon. This device in particular appeared in the "The Ultimate Doom Part 3" where it was used to counter the effects of Doctor Arkeville's hypno-chips.

It was an attempt at referencing a show I just recently got back into. And yes that's the joke behind that line XD
Oh yea, pre-ordered this babe just now over hlj, I can still get that little part later, just like all the other amazon extras.

There are the "must-have" accessories like: the "Megatron" gun, the energy axe, the pile drivers and Red's sensory sparks.
I don't think this device is either. But I appreciate those kind of references though!
I found this chart if it helps: http://www.anime-export.com/page/faq#qq60Influence wrote:Haven't used them yet, but what are the shipping charge differences between the two shops?
And checked their Smokescreen page for a weight reference.
It says: Packed Weight: 610 grams (1.34 Pound) • Weight: 270 grams (0.59 Pound). (And thanks Mooncake!)

I normally end up ordering a bundle (I've got G2 Sideswipe, Jackie, and Bee on one order) of MPs from RK, since they throw in the coin and the Amazon jp exclusives.

keep hoping. we got a green/gray, blue, white and black versions of doc arkeville, and a lime-green pilot for acidstorm.
we got nothing with the cars.
I would love to have chip, but it would be to good to be true.

They just rape your wallet on shipping.AutoBorst wrote:Nice to see there's an online retailer that doesn't automatically rape your wallet on a new pre-order item.

Indeed that's the truth! That's why I haven't shopped with them for over a year. It's not their fault though I think HK post is just generally much more expensive than JP post and it went up. I put the same things in cart at Ehobbybase shop they pretty much charge the same rates.

Yup! But if you order a few MPs at a time (I've got Jackie, Bee, and G2 Sideswipe in one order), it still comes out to $10 less than US retail per MP, and you get the coins and Amazon.jp accessories. So I end up ordering from them very occasionally.mooncake623 wrote:megatronus wrote:They just rape your wallet on shipping.AutoBorst wrote:Nice to see there's an online retailer that doesn't automatically rape your wallet on a new pre-order item.

MP-20ホイルジャックのビークルモード後部の画像です。変形方法が、いくらか見えてきましたかね? 写真では分かりづらいですが、手持ち銃であるハンドガンをエグゾーストパイプのように取り付けることができます。

Masterpiece Wheeljack is listed as an August release, until then, pictures will have to keep us going.

I prefer the plastic really, no dry rot, cracking, or flat spots from sitting in one position for too long.

yeah i agree, in the long run i prefer plastic too for practical reasons as you mention. I think only a couple of grapple's tyres survived from my childhood days. Though for aesthetics, and a touch of realism + a feel you're getting more for your money, rubber would be my preference. If anyone comes up with durable rubber it would be better.

Same here. Having problems with my G1 figs already with rubber rot. Unless you regularly apply Armor All to it. Rubber feels and looks good for the "realistic" presentation but you get the rot as a consequence.

How frequently? Don't want my MP-10's tires rotting anytime soon.

What is odd, is as I collect dolls - never any issues with them. Whatever they make dolls heads from - they should use that. Its much less elastic, but still has a slight rubber feel.

If anything it's more an updated interpretation of his G1 toy with the guards/shields shifting from behind to the sides.

And is most likely a necessary compromise so the hands are covered in alt mode. If that and the 'thin' thighs are the only compromises, then there really isn't anything much to complain about considering the liberties taken by the G1 animatorsBurn wrote:warzon3 wrote:I'm starting to really hate those hands, nowhere in g1 does Jack have hands that look like that. these are more of a classics updated interpretation of his hand guards/shield

he looks almost perfect.. as usual.
i really hope we see teasers or prototypes of bumblebee and magnus soon.
i am surprised that he didn't flatten out prowl's feet.. they're very articulated and would've easily been able to sit flush on the ground.. not to mention i don't see his heal flipped out.. odd for someone who designed it to overlook that.
