The opening text scroll is just summarizing the story of Beast Hunters to get people up to speed on things since Go! is intended to be a sequel to Beast Hunters.BIGGUY007 wrote:The video is nice if anyone could understand Japanese! Shame there isn't an American translated transcript attached!!
Basically, it's saying that Shockwave comes to Earth and brings Predacons with him, whom the Autobots have to fight by upgrading into "Hunter Mode". Then when it gets to the part with the disks near the end, it's talking about how the Autobots supposedly defeat Dragotron by sealing him away with an artifact called a "Legendisk".
The setup for the Go! anime is that, after the above events, the Autobots leave Earth to hunt down other Predacons scattered across the galaxy, while any remaining Predacons on Earth are left to be hunted down by a team of six new Autobots, who are the samurai and ninja combiner trios.
It remains to be seen if any of this will actually match up with what happens in the actual Beast Hunters cartoon, or if it's just some backstory material TakaraTomy created specifically for their version.
