Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian Emotim, we have word that there are some pretty good deals going on right now over at Entertainment Earth! While there aren't many deals, there are a few that you might take interest in.

The first potential deal would be Cyberverse wave 2 Warriors. Entertainment Earth currently has the whole case for Wave 2 available at $87.99, 20% off their retail price. The case includes 3 Optimus Primes, 2 Megatrons, 2 Windblades, and 1 Acid Storm. This figures would normally retail around $15 a piece, or $120 for the whole case.

Up next, we have the Power of the Primes Rodimus Unicronus, which has been dropped from $44.99 to $26.99, a 40% savings on the figure. This guy was the black and purple repaint of the Power of the Primes Rodimus Prime figure from 2018.

And lastly, we have the Studio Series Retro Pop Volume 2, which is the 2nd golden repaint of a Studio Series Bumblebee figure, in this case the VW Bug one, that comes with some Dinocassettes. The figure is marked at $42.99, a 28% savings from its $59.99 price point.

Check out the deals below, and let us know if you pick one of these up over in our Toy Haul Thread!

Quick PSA for those affected (including me). I received this from BBTS:

BBTS wrote:Last June the Supreme Court ruled that states can charge sales tax on internet purchases. Many states already have laws in effect or laws that will be going into effect soon. We anticipate most states will have sales tax laws in place by the end of the year. States write their own tax laws so each state can be different, but we expect the majority of internet retailers will have to collect sales tax in most states. We are required to abide by these laws.

On April 1st, we will begin charging sales tax in the following states:

California
Colorado
Minnesota

All shipments going to these states will be subject to sales tax. You are receiving this notice because you currently have open pre-orders and/or items in your Pile of Loot that will be affected based on the Preferred Address in your account. You will be charged tax on: pre-orders that arrive and are processed, any items in your Pile of Loot that are released for shipment, and all new orders.

Thank you for your continued support and business.

I got this from them back in January, as Nebraska was one of the first 3 states to jump on writing their law.

Just FYI, on P.o.L. orders they don't charge you tax until you/they ship, so anticipate two charges. One at time of purchase for item/items without tax, and another at shipment with tax on the order plus the shipping cost.

The funny thing is, I've ordered several things from Amazon, TFs and not. Some have charged tax and some haven't. Hope that doesn't bite me in the butt somehow down the road.

How dos the US tax law work on books? In Canada, they are a major exception to everything. Only federal tax can be charged for books, not provincial/state.

We're supposed to pay sales tax on everything, but varies from state to state. I'm only vaguely familiar with Louisiana though, but most major websites now collect sales tax on all physical and digital goods in Louisiana. BBTS doesn't... yet.

We also have different/no tax on food. In some places I go I'll see several different taxes on a receipt. The easy version is there is a reduced food tax and then the full tax on non food. Some cities charge a tax as well. Some states charge no food tax.

I just found out recently (because they are trying to change the law) that in Louisiana the parishes (counties for the other 49 states) collect the tax. This is why our state has a hard time with tax and internet sales. I'm not sure of the details, but they want to change that so it's easier to get the state taxes from online sales. The parishes are fighting this because they use that money for their budget before giving the state the collected tax.

EDIT: Oh if I remember correctly (in Louisiana) we are supposed to report tax we didn't pay on our tax return. But I didn't buy anything online that wasn't taxed ;)

Your a money guy, take a look at this - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sales_tax ... ted_States

TL;DR - its a mess in the states.

In summary, sales tax is a function of the states. So there are basically 50 different ways that works. But rates differ even within states as counties and cities can charge a different rate.

Bottom line, pretty soon everyone will be paying sales tax on all Internet sales from major retailers. BBTS is probably big enough that it has to start charging tax and not deal with that headache. But small-time eBay and Amazon 3rd party sellers can probably get away without charging tax in some form or fashion.

In my state we are supposed to report any unpaid online tax on our tax return.

Yeah, people tend toforget that we are a federation of several separate states and commonwealths, with our own laws and regulations. The only things distinguishing us from Europe is a Central Federal Government and an enduring love for DEMOCRACY AND PATRIOTISM!!! :-D

Thanks to a barrage of notifications from Seibertron members, we have word that Target is offering a ton of potential discounts on Transformers figures this week!

The most accessible sale this week is the offer of $10 off an order of $50 or more, and $25 off an order of $100 or more, meaning you can save 20-25% off your Transformers order this week. Friend of the site DecepticonFinishline has also let us know that this offer is available for some pre-orders, which include the Siege Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime, Thundercracker, Springer, and the Studio Series KSI Boss.

We also have word that, on top of these offers, there is a 25% off coupon through the Target Cartwheel app on all Transformers this week. And there is also your Target RedCard, which you have to apply for since it's a credit card, that offers an additional 5% off. If you have all 3, or even just one of these options available, take advantage of it and go get yourself some really nicely priced figures!

Also of note, thanks to Seibertronian xRotorstormx, we have news that Meijer is currently running a Buy one Get one 50% off on Transformers right now, so if you have one in your area, go out and check out the potential BOGO's!

Let us know what you end up purchasing and what kind of deals you end up getting below!

There should be a banner on the front page that says cartwheel offers, go thru that and go to the toys section icon, go thru that, select the tf coupon. Then along the bottom, go to the wallet area and it should have a barcode that your coupon is tied to

Just a heads up that cartwheel only works on purchases you buy in store or for target.com orders available for store pickup. So for example, the siege preorders will not work with the 25% off since they are shipping only.

However, the save $10 or save $25 will work fine for the preorders.

Just to do some math for peoplle if you buy one leader class figure at $50 and use the $10 off coupon AND then the cartwheel you'll be paying $30 for a leader which is literally 40% off

It has to be $50 - so 1 leader would not qualify since its $49.99.

In my experiences with cart wheel, you have to scan the item then add that promo to your account. Then make sure at check out they scan your cart wheel.

Edit: just searched the app and found this

I checked out four different Targets tonight to try out these amazing deals. I didn't find everything I was looking for, but I found a good chuck of it. My first purchase was for Studio Series Cogman, Shatter, Scrapmetal, and Jetfire. The regular total, including tax, would have been $118.07. With the $25 off a $100 purchase plus the 25% Transformers figures, I paid only $68.43, saving myself $49.64, or 42% off in total! That's pretty incredible! I almost got Jetfire for free, basically.

My second score was another Siege Prowl and five Battle Masters for more weapon effects parts and customization fodder. This time, I could only use the $10 off a $50 purchase coupon but still could stack that with the 25% off Transformers one. This reduced the total from $53.87 to $34.89, saving me another $18.98, or 35% off altogether. That's pretty close to the price of one Siege Deluxe Class figure. This also proves, btw, that the threshold for a $50 or $100 purchase INCLUDES the sale tax, so if you buy a $49.99 Leader Class figure, you can still get the $10 off, because the tax will automatically be added when you ring up the item at the register. If you live somehwere without sales tax on toys, then I guess you would have to buy a little something extra.

I'm hoping that I can find Studio Series Rampage and Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime before the sale ends. Those were the only figures I couldn't find in the four stores I tried tonight.

Man, what a deal at Target. I had already found and bought Siege Sixgun, SS Scrapmetal and SS Cogman at full retail within the last month, but I kept my receipts. So today, I got Siege Sixgun, SS Scrapmetal and 2 SS Cogmen, along with a couple LOL toys for my youngest to get me up over $100. With teh 25% cartwheel on TF's and the $25 off $100 toy purchase, my total came to $67 and some change with tax included. I'll be returning Siege Sixgun, SS Scrapmetal and one of the SS Cogmen with my original receipts, which will be about $65 in returns after tax.

So I basically ended up with 2 LOL toys for my youngest and an extra SS Cogman for about $2-$3. Sweet. This brings me up to 3 Cogmen now (1 TLK and 2SS), which means Lione, Shuffler and Ramhorn all get bodies now!!!

Unfortunately I found my Wave 1 Siege leaders about 2 weeks too early. I'm just past 90 days from purchasing them at Target, so I can't do the return game for those, which would have been sweet.

Unfortunately I don't have any photos, but some of my local Walmarts are trying to get rid of their overstock of SS 38 Rampage, because of course, all the BB Prime's got purchased right away. At least 2 of my local stores are selling them on clearance for $17...but others are not. (Several stores near me have 8-10 Rampages, something I have not seen in a long, long time)

Unfortunately I feel that Hasbro will see this as a reason to keep pumping out popular characters like Bumblebee & Optimus. We as fans say we want more variety, but unfortunately the reality of the situation says otherwise.

Additionally, I mentioned this in the Legends thread, but TFSource currently has Legends Grand Maximus for $210

https://tfsource.com/legends-series/lg- ... d-maximus/

I hope that deal lasts long enough that I can take advantage of it, would need a few more weeks to save up.

DuDE! What?! I need to go to Wal Mart. I want to get a second full Devastator for work.

Anyways.

I think that the SS-38 Prime is a special circumstance because it's simply a GREAT toy. Same with the Siege one. A blessing and a curse. I mean, yes, children that would otherwise not buy a Transformer toy are still going to buy Primes and Bees, but quality of the toy is playing a role here. Afterall, there are still several Cyberverse Primes sitting on the shelves.

I had the same experience with Voyagers at Walmart, though my Bee Movie Optimus was $21.

And Grand Max has been on sale at that price for a few months now. I'm thinking about picking one up at the end of the month.

I got mine last week with some funds from my refund check for this price. Still have to crack him open; he's in cue behind MP BW Megs and Big Powered.

I would recommend, based on your statement of saving up for it, to apply for and use Paypal Credit if you already have a PayPal account set up. 6 months , no interest, if paid in full at the end of or before the 6 month deadline. It usually is an option when using PayPal at most retailers. You can use the saved money you Already have to pay off a chunk once the charge appears then meet or exceed the minimum payments to pay him off well before the due date.

No harm, foul or interest on your part if done correctly. This will let you secure your fig at a sale price without delaying the purchase until stock quantities dwindled and the pressure is on.

Hope that helps and good luck! ;)^ ;)^ ;)^

Mine still has both SS and Siege Voyager Megatrons, as well as the SS Leader, SS Jetfire, all the new deluxes (Cogman, Shatter, WW2 Bee, and Scrapmetal), both Wave 1 Siege Leaders, and literally every other Voyager there except the Primes I'm looking for :BANG_HEAD:

I don't think distribution is to blame here (or it could be, considering there was only one of each Prime there), and more of a "Pass on it and it's gone forever" thing.

I am mad, especially since SS38 is going to restock in May, and nothing on Siege Prime. Maybe it's karma or something

This is coming in a little late, but not so late that you can't still make good on Target's latest toy deal! Through Saturday 6/1 your next Transformers toy purchase (or nearly any toy purchase really) could earn you an instant $10 gift card on a $50 or more purchase and a $25 gift card on a $100 or more purchase. The deal is good both online and in stores with the respective coupon found in the weekly ad or on the app.

There's still a few good new figures left online from Studio Series and Siege including Leaders. Grab SS Leader Megatron and Jetfire and a Battlemaster, earn a $25 gift card, then turn around and pick up Siege Shockwave and Ultra Magnus with another Battlemaster, knock off that $25 you earned before and earn another $25 gift card to use later. Or just save your gift cards to pay for your three Siege Refraktors later. If it's stuff you plan on buying anyway then you may as well get something back while you can. And keep an eye on your local stores as they're still getting stock in throughout this sale.

If you've had good luck earning Target gift cards then post about your experience down below in the Energon Pub forums. And always feel free to post your findings in the Transformers toy haul thread because it's fun and we love to see our fellow Seibertronians' latest scores!

Meh, this would be great IF wave 3 Siege figures (Voyager and Deluxe specifically) were in stores. I'd be spending over $100.00 easily.

I lucked out with this latest Target deal! In one trip, I got Studio Series Bumblebee Optimus Prime, Rampage, a second Scrapmetal (one for display, one to build Devastator), plus another Siege Chromia (for fan-mode weapons, armor, etc. for Elita-Infin1te and/or Orthia). $100.00, plus tax, $25.00 gift card back, and then 5% off with my Red Card. That's a good 30% off. On the second trip, I got a second Studio Series Rampage (one for display, one to build Devastator) and a Battle Damage Megatron. $60.00, plus tax, $10 gift card back, and then 5% of with my Red Card again. 15% savings. I can easily pay for Siege Voyager Springer or Thundercracker with my $35.00 in gift cards. Cartwheel has been good to me this spring. :)

Anyone have any online sightings for SIEGE Wave 3 Deluxes or Voyagers?

No signs of them online. Apparently they have been jumping in and out of stock and appearance on Amazon.

He is, but unless Voyagers were marked down this is the wrong thread :P And that's a brick-and-mortar sighting anyway.

Spotted some various TF figures marked down at Wally today while on the hunt. I only visited one of our WMs, so YMMV.

Amazon Prime Day deals, spotty at best, probably the most significant would be Siege Voyager Megatron for $19.99, or

The search function to get a definitive list is also wonky, others may find different results. If so, feel free to post them here

The Last RID Crash Combiners are on sale too but they were always sold by a third party so now the price is closer to normal retail.
