According to Yonoid from Cybertron.ca, the embossed number on the back of the box for the fixed version is 72011. The one with the issues has the number 72081 instead.

Wait wait wait... the higher number has the problems? I thought the numbers are production run codes, which would mean the problems appeared later, not earlier.

That peg is difficult period. Optibotimus had trouble with it in his review. I got mine to rotate all the way, but man, I never seen a toy that tried to break parts of ME like that this one. I'm glad I pounced on him and Nitro when one of the two local Wally Worlds got them in. I ain't seen them nowhere since. Yes, we got two Walmarts around here within two miles of each other... on the same friggin road.
I'm gettin' kind of hosed about nobody even getting Wave 2 stuff in. I'm seein' all sorts of Titans Return stuff, but it's still the same Wave 1 shelfwarmers everywhere I go. Oh well, it's close to Christmas, maybe they'll finally change stock for that? I'd love to get Crosshairs but I'm mainly lookin' for Cogman and Draggie to complete my Knights collection.

I am pretty sure those grey pieces connecting their heads to their bodies are the same, along with other pieces of the skeleton for transformation but I dont have it in hand yet.
the feet lower legs knee pieces and chest to car roof pieces are the same

I hope so too. Having played with him more, I really wish the main dragon mode was actually smokey gray or black like the dragon heads. They stand out so badly and the rest of the coloring is very unflattering. He is so close and I want to like him so much, but he's just a bit too fiddly and badly paletted.
Also stopped at several stores last week during some interviews, some different ones that I have never stopped at before, and they all have only wave 1 TLK stuff... I only need New Bee, Cogman, and the last 2 legions dangit!

Well look at it this way, my TRU just got a fresh shipment of wave 3. So that would assume its the latest, right?
And the number on the crosshairs from this fresh case is indeed 72011.

This is untrue, the bee redeco sold very well compared to his wave mates.
Actually, you got me there. I never see Bee, just the others.

Bee has a very cool transformation that somehow remains fresh even though its another take on the same transformation we have had for a decade (arms and legs end up in the same place as always). Its basically another take on the MPM transformation at a smaller scale and thats pretty cool. But man does he feel flimsy ad cheap. Maybe its because most pieces are thinner than what we get in the generations line due to the robot parts not being integrated into the vehicle. And both end up feeling overstuffed in vehicle mode. It feels lke the vehicles are about to burst. And there is some clear plastic parts on Bee that require quite a bit of pressure applied. Kinda scary.
Crosshair's deco is really lackluster in robot mode. Its just green, green everywhere. But at least in car mode, its the complete opposite where there is paint all over the place. I think its fully painted. Plus nice to see the rims are wheel painted.
Ok toys but by no means mind blowing.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm sure a lot of us are actually happy to hear a not-so-positive review of these later-wave guys - it really helps to dull that feeling of "I-need-it" that's so unhelpful when they aren't anywhere around.
(Which I'm just now seeing is almost exactly what you mentioned to me in another thread, not ten minutes ago. Funny how things work like that.)

The Knights of Iacon (16 named characters in all, can you find and name them all?):
The Dragon knights:
And then this guy. I'm still torn over if he or Megatron will win TLK figure of the year (Nitro is figure of the year, so he doesn't count). He is really good, and he is a dead ringer for a Beast Wars Megatron with the legs mistransformed (last picture)

movie Bee. I have the deluxe from 2007 (which I still consider to be the best looking of his deluxe toys, especially since I got him twice with the legacy of Bumblebee set), the Nitro one from DotM, human alliance from RotF, and the 2 from AoE).

Well there are two deluxes that are probably the best out there which you dont have then: HFTD Battle Blade Bee and DOTM Bumblebee, this guy below:
https://static.seibertron.com/images/to ... ee-127.jpg
Thats the mold Takara deemed to be the best hence why they used that one for their MB line (its the same mold used for the lazerbeak pink redeco).
I dont know where this new Bee would fit in a top 5 (which I am working on). His QC issues of doors popping off, feet undoing constantly and super loose hips would probably disqualify him. We'll see. I know you dont like loose joints, so I dont know how you will feel about this new bee. But the chest is cool, sure.

The reason for me that the movie 1 deluxe is the best is because it came the closest to having the wings done right, which is a major nitpick of mine with movie Bee. Almost every mold after the 2007 deluxe has the wings way too far out, they need to collapse closer to the center of his back. And the only major issue I had with that mold are the arms, everything else is great to me.
And as for his issues, Maybe it is a case of mileage may vary. My MP Bee doesn't have standing or feet issues, his only issue being fingers that are a teensy bit too loose, affecting how he can hold his hammer.

I'm sorry, I may not have stated the question properly. You did find 15 (I was counting Quintessa), and the combined Dragonstorm counted as 16 since all his components were there.

The Target Toy Book is going out now. There's a $10 Target car with $50 toy purchase offer on the back of the Toy Book.
https://www.bfads.net/Target-2017-Toy-Book-Posted
Starting on Sunday 10/29 through 11/11, texting TOY to Target (827438) will get you a 25% a single toy (or sporting good or kids' craft) item. It's probably one coupon per phone number so you probably can't get one each day. Also, starting on 11/1 through Thanksgiving, there will be a daily deal on a toy each day. I can't recall if any Transformers toys popped up there on last year.
Specific to the Last Knight toys:
Transformers The Last Knight Autobot Sqweeks RC on sale for $68.99 (Reg. 79.99)
Transformers Allspark Tech Figure Assortment $12.99 (Reg. 14.99)
Transformers Allspark Tech Starter Pack $27.49 (Reg. 29.99)

I can see where people are coming from on why they think he's a great figure, I just can't fully agree with them.
While it's a new take on a transforming jet, the figure is quite bland. Which is where I think the figure fully excels.
In having potential to be someone else.
Most of us will have seen the Thunderwing customs out there. So a different head and a lot more paint apps would REALLY make this figure pop.
Is it a bad figure? No, definitely not, but I wouldn't call him figure of the year, not when you factor in a good chunk of Titans Return figures.

You can say that again.
Those sets are unavailable on TrU.ca for starter.
Then I randomly went to TrU with my combiners-loving friend. While he was busy with a random encounter (RPG style), I notice two of those sets perched atop the shelf, way out of reach. I had to find a TrU clerk so that he'd fetch it for me. But I was completely broke. Not even for a candy bar. So I made a deal with my friend and I'll give him a set of CW limbs, fully customised in a few weeks.
And to go back to TLK, Nitro wasn't easy to get either. Late release, and he's the most popular. Get one with luck. Unpack it at home and he was missing a set of missiles right out of the box. So two days later I got back to TrU to return it and they had only one left. A perfect one fortunately.
Anyway, now that most hurdles have been jumped over, I just need to not mess up my Thunderwing custom and pay my friend back with yet more work for the TR set.

Decided not to get any just yet, since they were $30AU (blech) and I'd just spent $200 on UW Computron less than a week ago. I'll probably pick up Steelbane this weekend since he's the only Wave-2er I'm even a little interested in and I'm a weak-willed individual, but Wave 3 is where it's really at for me.

Myself, I want him because I find his personality endearing and his design cool. Plus he's named after a cyberattack, which is a damn cool idea. I'm headcanoning that he actually WAS the cyberattack, and the "Stuxnet based virus" thing is a cover story. I'm also headcanoning that he's Shockwave's twin brother, far more of a chad but just as much of a genius (he just knows how to conceal it- "Knowledge is power, hide it well" and all).
Finally, I'm headcanoning that by the time I can properly collect at will again that I'll be able to find him for a sensible price.

[snippitysnop]
Now, if I may present my own brand of unnecessarily-lengthy and anecdote-filled reviews for a couple TLK toys. Brace yourself, here we go. Wall of text, comin' through. As I mentioned a couple days ago, I finally ran into the second-wave deluxes and though I didn't get any of them at the time, I had planned on maybe buying Steelbane. Well come yesterday I picked the guy up, despite generally less-than-positive reviews from most, since I thought he looked cool and I felt like getting something different from the usual vehicle-formers.
Annnnnd... he kinda sucks.
From what I can gather, the copy I got has really good joints - like, he can hold up his own weight, and even manage a few poses in robot mode! - but that doesn't save him from a restricted-feeling robot mode and a dragon mode that just has an overall air of unfinished-ness. In robot mode it seems like everything gets in everything else's way - calves in the way of (really weirdly jointed) feet, pauldrons in the way of arms, backwings in the way of LITERALLY EVERYTHING - and his head sits so far back that it sinks behind his giant shoulders and chest and practically disappears. Dragon mode with its gappy back, shoulder section that locks nowhere at all and awfully-articulated front legs that leave him perpetually knock-kneed, is no better - I'd argue worse - than the robot. He is a bad dragon (I know what I did ).
Don't get me wrong, he has his occasional saving graces. He's got a cool aesthetic and concept behind him, his transformation is a breath of super-fresh air whose only similarity is a passing resemblance to an upside-down Nitro Zeus, and to borrow one of Jobby's more family-friendly stock phrases the painting and the sculpting on this figure is excellent. (I especially love the silver-painted cross-like detail on his chest, it looks super great.) But for $30AU, 20% again the price of a TR Deluxe, he was entirely unsatisfying and left me with probably the worst case of buyer's remorse since AoE Drift.
In fact, this remorse was so bad after about 3 hours that I needed something to wash the taste out. Enter the one figure I was entirely convinced I wouldn't buy from this line, and the biggest surprise hit for me in recent memory - Deluxe Sqweeks.
I could go on for hours, nay, days about how much I despise the character of Sqweeks. From his unappealing design to his clearly marketing-focused """personality""", from his grating speech pattern to his totally superfluous role in the worst Transformers movie yet to the ACTUAL WORST NAME I HAVE EVER LAID MY EYES UPON. Yet despite all that, after my bad experience with going against recommendations and picking up Steelbane, I decided to go with the flow on this apparently fantastic toy and see where it took me. And it took me to Blisstown, Awesomesauce Country, Population: Deluxe Sqweeks.
I don't know what it is, exactly, about this figure that just works so much better than his on-screen self to me. In tinier plastic form, his design goes from butt-ugly to the intended "ugly-cute" kind of appealing. I admittedly picked through about 8 of him to find my favorite, but while the 'rust' painted onto him doesn't look all that much like rust, it does look nice and goes well with his color-scheme. His articulation is nowhere near the expected level from a Deluxe, but it doesn't honestly need to be - his head can turn a bit, arms can do more-or-less what you want them to, and he can doot-de-doo with the best of them. What more could you expect from a figure of his size?
And while we're on size, despite being significantly smaller than Steelbane (minus his trailer, which I'll get to briefly in a moment) he actually ends up feeling bigger. Maybe it's because he seems like a really chunky Legends figure rather than Steelbane's puny-Deluxe aura, but he has a similar impression of size to that of the likewise-rather-short-for-his-class TR Broadside. Even on his own he feels way more worth it than Steelbane, but add in that fun transforming trailer (it looks so good and it's so fun!) and he blasts through that price-point with aplomb.
And what can I say about vehicle mode? It's a super-clever transformation (with a point or two docked for the partsforming handlebars/arms, and another couple lost for not putting the clearly-altmode-parts anywhere on the altmode and instead just sticking them in a literal box of bits) and a vehicle that looks believable and fantastic from literally every conceivable angle - now I remember why I thought Movie toys were their own brand of awesome! Unique alt-modes always give me a bit of joy, especially when they look totally incapable of transforming in any convincing manner, and this is no exception. I honestly think this guy is about the closest we've come to actual mass-shifting in Transformers toys so far; neither mode seems like it should be capable of coming from the other, and yet they do!
And with all that gushing, I've still failed to mention the extra arms (dumb but fun, especially with a Decepticon reprolabel on the bulky one), the play features of the trailer (a better base than most of Titans Return managed IMO) or how his vehicle mode is the perfect size to sit other toys on for fun and profit (pictures coming soon I promise). Suffice to say this toy did more than wash Steelbane out of mind: it left me feeling satisfied with the day's purchases despite still having earlier bought Steelbane. In fact, it might even be turning my opinion around on Sqweeks as a whole, and if that's not a miracle then I don't know what is.
Except for that name.
That name can still burn like the concentrated garbage it is.
