Our ever expanding Transformers gallery is proud to welcome 2 of the new figures from Transformers Dark Of The Moon toy line. They are Shockwave (Voyager Class) & Skyhammer (Voyager Class).

The only good DotM figures aside from sentinel are now galleries... No need to put up any others other than to just see how bad they are....

Awesome galleries on these two, and I have to say that Shockwave is pretty freakin awesome! I picked him and Skyhammer up on Sunday and Skyhammer was abit of a disappointment, all loose joints, the MECHTECH crap weapon was jamming and wouldn't lock into sword mode and then just fell apart finally! So, I had to take him back, but Shockwave is solid figure and bot mode is the closes to a updated G1 figure we can get at the moment, alt mode is so-so, be better if he didn't have the funny looking wheels in front of his tank mode. What little time I had with Skyhammer he is a great figure, but i feel his MECHTECH gimmick weapon is waaaay too BIG for him, but thats me, other than that both are nice figures.

If i ever decide to get shockwave im going to kitbash him into Galvatron or Megatron, wont be hard just need to swap the head and paint it cause it already has the correct structure & weapon.

oooohh niiicce... shockwaves middle treads don't even make contact with the ground in tank mode, fantastic..... not.
Thanks for the galleries.. they helped me decide I could do without both these figures.

Shockwave's torso looks wider than it should be. That, combined with the lackluster tank mode, sadly makes him a pass for me.

I'll only pick up Skyhammer if I can get my hands on a mini-Matrix and Tomahawk.

Shockwave is the best Galvatron figure ever made sans head! Of course then I'll be without an awesome Shockwave… hmmm. Very similar to the IDW Galvatron in alt mode (without all the spiky bits though).

Skyhammer also has a déjà vu vibe going on, I think it's the head mostly, totally makes me think of Tigerhawk.

Fully agree that these are the only two must haves of the DotM line though that red repaint Ratchet seen earlier and probably Leader class Ironhide are in there for me also (as well as a hopeful repaint/Takara DotM Sideswipe cuz I won't buy a figure that looks the colour of a prototype, Hasbro).

Movie-verse Tankor has been linked to Brawl a couple of times, so that's not really possible.

Skyhammer looked worlds better with the custom paint job. As he is, I'm not sure if I trust myself to do a full repaint on him.

Still, he's an awesome fig, and I might buy him anyway, and maybe just repaint the head.

I haven't paid much attention to previous Bayverse movie toy releases, what is the chance of Voyager-size repaints?

I haven't paid much attention to previous Bayverse movie toy releases, what is the chance of Voyager-size repaints?

Difference is, an official repaint is likely to be done in colors that I wouldn't want [case in point, the Fallen]. I'm talking about a custom repaint that uses similar dark tones and dry-brushing to create a more realistic-looking and detailed figure.

Of course, one could hope for a premium edition, but it seems that Hasbro hasn't been issuing premium editions since the 2007 movie toyline. Recent repaints include substantial color changes that might or might not be to my tastes.

Finally, some decent looking movie bots. I didn't think I was going to get anything but Leader Class Sentinel but these two look like they'll be sneaking onto my cart. I don't have a G1 Shockwave so this one will do the job nicely.

yes yes but see... with my deluxe and leader brawls,here's to hoping we get a leader shockwave, ide have Brawl AND Tankor, if we get a leader, they would be in scale. plus if you look at beast machines tankor, they look pretty simular...

the way these two look .At first i didn't think i would like the line ,but it keeps getting better .

I am guessing here but Skyhammer is a toy only character right

Shockwave looks terrible in alt mode, but I'll be getting him for the great bot mode! I think it's been brought up before, but I wonder if Shockwave's gun can go on the correct left arm? Skyhammer looks pretty neat.... Until that damn cannon enters the mix. I'll pass on him.

There arent seperate DPCI's for each Transformer. Only DPCI's for Voyager, Leader, Deluxe etc...last time I checked we only got the leader class in, but that was last Friday when I found a Leader Bumblebee in the Thor section lol. But all Transformers are on clearance on Long Island. My friend picked up Leader Starscream for $20

All voyagers are now $10, Deluxes are $6, and PCC are $5. Battle Ops Bumblebee...$60 lol XD expect huge rollout monday. (hopefully)

Just picked these guys up. I'm really liking them both. Gonna have to go back for another Shockwave to mod into a Galvatron. Had my hands on Leader Class Sentinel and just couldn't do it. He's nice, but up close seems too simplified and too damn dark pink. Ah well...

Awesome and solid figure.
Love that he is an update of one of my fave characters from G1

Hope he causes a lot of damage in the movie!

I can say that shockwave is an amazing figure. The alt mode is very solid and the robot mode is very impressive, even for a bayformer. The gimmick for the weapons is cool at first but once the glimmer is gone it makes the weapon look loose.
