Found it on TVguide.com, but it's on at 4:30 in the morning? Thank Primus for DVRs.
Part two's on at 4:30 am too? Do they hate season three?

As far as I'm concerned, this was the best season of all, and I wondered if they were waiting to show TFTM first lest this season not make sense to kids just getting into it. I think the TF Wiki said the the movie only aired once in its entirety, and all subsequent showings were of it broken into 5 parts for S5 with Puppetmaster Optimus and Tommy and The Touch video at the end for padding. Is there some legal reason it just can't air on US TV with "sh!t" and "d@mmit" bleeped out? Did one of the blind critics that trashed it back in the day lay a curse?
I wonder if this also means S2 of G.I.Joe will air soon too.

funny story about this morning, i miscalculated how much room i had on my VHS tape when recording and the tape finished while the show was playing. i quickly found another and popped it in there but i missed about 10 seconds of the show. so for years that was my only way to watch this movie, on two seperate VHS tapes with commercials intact. i of course fast forwarded through them but for years it was nostalgic seeing them even in super speed. i'd say 90% of them consisted of toy commercials for transformers, g.i.joe, potato head kids and my little pony.....ah, memories. lol
i still remember the excitement when i got the canadian release VHS in the 90s. it was the first time i was seeing the movie in full, commercial free and unedited form since theaters. lol

Transformers 'eating' energon - with their MOUTHS (even the ones without mouths).
Everybody sucking up to Rodimus when he was no great shakes.
Quintessons were the sukkiest 'enemies' ever made.
Sharkticons were the sukkiest toys ever made.
Toys looked nothing like their movie counterparts.
Galvatron's voice was WAY nothing like his movie counterpart. (Really, Frank Welker? Your DYNOMUTT voice? For Galvatron?)
Movie/S3 vision of the future is nothing like how the future actually turned out, and we knew it, even in 1986.
Planet 'Goo'? Really? That was the BEST you could write?
Organic waitresses hitting on Cybertronians in an 'energon bar'.
'The Killing Jar' - 30 minutes of NOTHING.
Soundwave: 'That was heaven!' 'Nuff said.
They had their moments. 'Call of the Primitives' was pretty good, and Starscream's Ghost. But overall - S3 and the seasons after it just stunk up the joint.

yeah but that was what season 2? i'm not sure right now but C minor must have the most animation errors in a 5-minute span of time so much you have to do bullet points every time you watch it which was 1989 for me......... okay that's not true that was the last time i watched when i wasn't forced to .

As opposed to drinking it in season two?
Everybody sucking up to Rodimus when he was no great shakes.
Really? Managed to beat the Decepticons and the Quintessons, as well as Victor Drath before Optimus came back, which tells me he did a damn good job filling Optimus' big shoes. Even Kup pointed out that Optimus went through the same feelings when he replaced Sentinel.
Quintessons were the sukkiest 'enemies' ever made.
How so?
Sharkticons were the sukkiest toys ever made.
Really? My childhood friend had one and it was awesome.
Toys looked nothing like their movie counterparts.
You have have Ironhide, Ratchet, Optimus Prime, Megatron, the Scramble City toys, Bumblebee, Windcharger, Brawn, Astrotrain, Jetfire and everyone else who didn't match up to their animation models.
Galvatron's voice was WAY nothing like his movie counterpart. (Really, Frank Welker? Your DYNOMUTT voice? For Galvatron?)
No, that was more the voice Welker used with his other characters. Besides, he was probably told not to do an impersonation of Nimoy.
Movie/S3 vision of the future is nothing like how the future actually turned out, and we knew it, even in 1986.
Right, because "The Terminator" films, "Back To The Future II" and "Escape From L.A." is how the world turned out as well. What about "Star Trek" and the absence of World War III at the start of the 21st century.
Planet 'Goo'? Really? That was the BEST you could write?
Yeah, a planet full of a glue like substance.
Organic waitresses hitting on Cybertronians in an 'energon bar'.
As opposed to "The Girl Who Loved Powerglide"?
'The Killing Jar' - 30 minutes of NOTHING.
30 minutes of character building. You learn a lot about Cyclonus, Ultra Magnus and Marissa Faireborne.
Soundwave: 'That was heaven!' 'Nuff said.
How was that bad?
