Scaleface brought to our attention that San Diego Comic Con exclusive Alternator Rodimus no longer appears on Hasbro Toy Shop at all.
When he had sold out, the entry for the product still remained, albeit with an Out of Stock tag next to it. It was rumored that at different times he came back 'In Stock', but was just as quickly out of stock. But now there is no listing at all. For those hoping that a future re-stock would come, it appears, unfortunately that it is not likely to happen.
You should also note that the Exclusive GI Joe Destro product entry has also been removed, and it was having similar results to the Alternators Rodimus, many folks were still hoping to nab one of those too, and had seen it come and go as being 'In Stock' then out of stock.
Of note: The highly under-rated Titanium Menasor is still available, as is the Star Wars Hot Selling McQuarrie styled Yoda and Obi Wan two pack. Marvel Legends fans can still nab Stan Lee, and She Hulk too!
It looks like eBay is your best option now if you still want either of those two awesome comic convention exclusives.

Missed the Hasbro listing, but at least I had BBTS to hook me up. It cost a bit more, but the Alt. completionism moves forward!

The reason he was so popular is because this is the last alternator to evey be made so if you buy him a few yrs down line you can sell him for triple or maybe even four times the price. This one I would have bout just because I like the car and I always have ever since first saw it.

But i will says this FRAK YOU HASBRO!!!! KISS MY SHINY METAL ASS!!!! I know hate hasbro more that i ever have. Im even more pissed because there are TF coming out that i want so i cant do any thing about this. Either i buy the TFs i want and hasbro wins or i dont buy them and my collection stops growing and my strike dosent hurt hasbro in any kind of way. What i do hope is that all the scalpers out there on ebay that are selling these for those bullshit prices wind up getting robbed or go blind or something. Glad I also picked up Rodimus when Hasbro first offered it... I got screwed on Menasor, though. Bought it off of eBay..then come to find out he's offered on the ToyShop site. I paid double what hasbro was selling it for... man....I actually bought one from Hasbro, too, and kept it MISB, so I can sell it for what I paid on eBay.. (one day, I hope...)
Anyway, Rodimus will also be stuck in it's bubble, but only because I already have the Kiss Players version, and i can't justify opening it being the only difference is a few flamed surfaces. I kind of want to sell it, but kind of don't want to.. know what I mean?

If I were interested in Alt Rodimus, it would have been to companion my Convoy x Mellisa.
I'm not really all that bummed about Destro. I wouldn't mind having gold helmet... Problem is I think this was gold on red when I'd rather it be gold on black, since that's how I remember it being.

Well I was lucky enought to order my Alt Roddy right before the news was posted on the boards and I got him Saturday
I preordered the Mac Obi Wan and Yodat two pack
The only reason I haven't gotten Titanium Menasor is because of lack of funds

Isnt this thing just a bit.......over rated? It's a freaking repaint (a great mold though) and its a crappy character!! It's freaking Rodimus! They killed a lot of good transformers so his ass could be in the movie!!!

They've got him at superbeeds.com for 62.00. It's pricey but probably cheaper than ebay. Everything I've gotten from them has always been in great shape. I got mine from BBTS on preorder.

About time! Has-blow should've removed it within 24 hours of the SDCC specials being sold out. Either that or note more will be available in the near future. They never make enough of these "specials", bastids!
And no I never got one so I am one of the peeps who wanted him but could not get him b/c of the stupid limited supply and the fact MOFO scalpers and hoarders cleaned him out. F*cking great.
And on that note, bHasb-blow bring more ALTS out or at least reissue them! Why the hell are they stopping the line?!!

I wish they would get more of the Pepsi Optimus Primes in (2007 Botcon version) You could get it there for $24.99 but now ithe cheapest price i can find one for is $49.99.

I gave up on alternators once I couldn't find Camshaft... still haven't seen Rumble, or anything else that has surfaced... the last one I got was Nemesis Prime, and before that I found Optimus and Mirage.
