Nice galleries! :D

Kup looks nice!
But i wonder why they did him before Ironhide? :-?
Its just me or he is smiling?
Image

Rumble looks cool, with a misterious and menacing way.
Definitely someone who you would want for your Decepticon collection.

Thundertron is very impressive.Such a imposing figure.
I always think is impressive when you cant exactly say what Transformers transforms into, and this figure did this to me.
Nice detail with his faction symbol.

Man,that Weaponizers Optimus Prime looks better every time i look at him.

Awesome! :michaelbay:

No mention of Soundwave (or Frenzy) in Rumble's bio... In fact, it's a pretty bland one.
The figure itself looks good, though.

Rumble's altmode color scheme reminds me of that of Armada Sideswipe.

At least he still has his pile drivers.

Rumble looks interesting; even comes with a DVD, Hasbro version at least.

Weaponizer OP might be worth a look. Not crazy about the shoulder cannons, but if the Takara version replaced that with a more complex arms micron, I'd consider buying one. What worries me if the amount of back kibble he has.

and the price goes up once again, fuck you hasbro. Since when does putting a dvd in the package justify raising the prices? They never did that before, greed pure and simple. On another note thundertron looks awesome and dreadwing doesnt look half bad, thankfully voyagers are still $20 so i might pickthen up. Thundertron is the only must buy on my list right now, there would be others but you all know how i feel about the current pricing structure and that prevents me from adding anything else.

I was just thinking that too.

It's a bummer that i can't just walk into a store and buy a transformer anymore. I have to go online. I blame it on BB of course. But to walk into a store and see a Thundertron on the pegs would be astonishing indeed.

I'll be sorely disappointed if Rumble has no connection to Soundwave in TFP. That's like... his daddy. :-(

Also, Kup is TINY.

OMG, that Kup is severely mistransformed. Look at the card art, that resembles the rather awesome little Cyberverse Ironhide. The front of the vehicle should come down over his shoulders like shoulder pads. Also, the left arm has the wheel in front of it, it should be behind like the right arm. Why does Hasbro always hire Mr Magoo to transform their products for shows like this and Botcon?

What's with Thundertron's face?

Is that a mask or something?

But yes, him and Dreadwing/Skyquake. Nom nom nom.

Those guns are built into the figures. It's their entire purpose in life. The rest of the toy is built around that weapon-deploying gimmick. Takara's Microns will be add-ons rather than replacements.

Oh man. Great pics. Rumble looks lighter than I was expecting, but that's okay. Kup is horrendously mistransformed, but I still want him and the Ironhide version of that mold. And Thundertron is truly plastic crack in the purest definition. So much of my want. I ADORE that headsculpt. And it looks like he has a flip-down battle mask or something on top of his head. I'm hoping it's not just part of his transformation. Also, I see a hole on his back where you can store the right foot if you want to have the peg leg. The engineers thought of everything! :APPLAUSE:

Thundertron - what an odd looking contraption!

Why has Kup got Ironhides head? Is this going to be another mold share?

I am liking the look of Rumble but his massive shoulder kibble could be annoying once in hand? :-?

Between the new Prime and FoC figures, I feel I wont be bothering to grab the complete lines, just a select few...?

Im off to claim my MP Thundercracker pre-order payment back today from Toys R Us so I might quiz them on the release dates/availability of the FoC lines!

Yes, it's meant to be Ironhide but for some reason they're putting out the Kup deco first and Deluxe Ironhide proper is coming at an unknown point in the future.

Kup better be mistransformed... the chest looked better in prototypes... With the headlight on his collar...

His left hand is also screwed up with the wheel the wrong way... Who puts this on display?

Image

Also, no sign of Thundertron's lion mode? Maybe no one could transform him. Seems like the thing on top of his head is a mask, much like HFTD Fallen's one.. Except it hinges down and hides his tentacles...

If they put out Ironhide 1st, fewer people would buy the Kup repaint. But buy putting Kup out 1st, you'll by it for a new mold, then buy Ironhide again cos... It's Ironhide. 8-}

Well, I'm sure Hasbro will release Ironhide... or at least Takara is doing an AM one.

Actually, maybe they just haven't appeared yet. Kup and Rumble come with a complementary DVD containing one episode of TFP, which might be the particular episode where they make their debut.

I'm just guessing here, though. Thing is, I have the vaguest recollection that the wave one PRID deluxe figs might have also come with DVD's.

Well, I have mixed feeling so far about what is displayed, and what is not there. I hope we get more clarification on upcoming figures.

1st as others stated, no Breakdown??( extra glad I have my Takara version). No Skyquake to go with Dreadwing?? Also once again Takara outdoes Hasbro on display pieces, and desired character count.

I hope this changes when we hear from Hasbro panel later on at SDCC. Otherwise I am going to be paying up to get the characters I want fromTakara/ Tomy. I have already preordered Nemesis Prime, and Gia Unicron. That's going to increase if I don't hear some good news from Hasbro.

Really curious to see what the "Silas version" of Breakdown looks like, and what kind of differences he has. Seems like Takara's going to release it before Hasbro like the first version, seeing as the promo renders show him with a praying mantis-like arms micron.

Still interested in Thundertron. Kup looks nice. Rumble/Frenzy looks like a mess. I'm only picking up the show characters for Prime. If neither of those is in the show, it wouldn't break my heart.

I actually like the way Kup's shoudler pads are transformed. I think it would give him a distinction between him and Ironhide. Rumble looks amazing, and Thundertron just might have the same flip-down mask gimmick that Hot Shot has (in his case, goggles). Can't wait for Dreadwing....this month? Well hurry it up then, Hasbro! God....

This leaves me wondering if HasTak'll make the other Star Seekers; Brimstone, Cannonball, Axer, and Sandstorm.

Damn-worthy Decepticons, Shivering Sharkticons, Greedy Griffins...I...I think I'm out of cheesy alliterations. *cough* anyway.... now they jack the price up on Deluxes for what? A stupid ass DVD?! Fuuuuuuuu- :BOOM:

With Rumble's chest design and some swords instead of piledrivers, I see a Bludgeon repaint — or at least another iteration for Headrobots to work on (though Dr. Wu could easily beat them to it).

Rumble looks a little plain colour wise but it's a badass looking mold. I'd probably get him and call him something else. I'll definitely get Kup as soon as he turns up in red, and while I initially wasn't blown away by the photo of Thundertron from the Malaysian product catalogue he's looking pretty boss here. Can't wait for him. He's a definite purchase.

Despite mistransformation, Kup looks pretty awesome. Definitely looking forward to him. Thundertron's kind of cool but the face is really weird, I'd probably pass because I'm not too interested in the character. Rumble's okay but I'd rather have a red version, so we'll see about that...

Yeah, where is the guy?

This is the preview selection. Right now, there is nothing featured in any of the displays that we didn't already know about in some capacity, even if it's the first time we've seen an actual display piece. Hasbro's panel is today at 12:30 PM Pacific Time, 4:30 Eastern. All their big reveals will happen then and the new figures will be on display afterwords.

Mykltron wrote:Why dilute the line with figures that aren't in the cartoon? I just want to complete the cast. If these figures stop me getting the ones I want I'll be very annoyed.

The toylines have a quota of about 100 figures across the various size classes. To fill those ranks, they have to make characters that aren't on the show. It's how Hasbro has always operated.

You know, I actually kinda don't like that Magnus. Its kinda boring with the paint aps. And the translucence is and always shall be lame. What I liked about Ultra Magnus was that he was particularly blocky, especially in the chest area. The PRIME aesthetic just doesn't work well for him. Thankfully, I can get FoC UM and be satisfied.

November 2012 for the FE return? Ultra Magnus & I can deal with that.

Alas, I can see the FE prices on eBay dropping now. At least I don't have to fold out 40-50 bucks for Bulkhead

ShadowTracker wrote:does anybody know if dreadwing will be released as a solo wave??

Yeah, he's gonna be in a solo wave; Wave 3.

Looks like Thundertron & Ultra Magnus are in Wave 4 together. I wonder if Skyquake will be in his own solo wave too, or if they'll do another Voyager to accompany him.

We need a Deluxe retool of this motherplucker:

Image

At least we know what Tailgate would look like if he was on Earth. We already knew he shared Cliff's body type.

Ultra Magnus' paint scheme seems dull, but I can't deal with that now. Ultra Magnus must sit on my shelf with his fellow Autobots.

If I don't see Dreadwing this month like they say we will, I will...uhm...keep waiting.

Fallback? Outback continues to be remembered! Thank you, RTS! Thank you!

Anyone getting an Armada Blurr vibe from DE Wheeljack?

Image

DE Knock Out looks ugly as ass to me. I thought DE Bumblebee was gonna be swindle until I saw him closer.

Looks like Hasbro's turning things around a bit. :-? I'll have total faith in Hasbro reclaimed when I actually see FEs on the shelves in November.

My thoughts on these....

Bulkhead repaint? Pegwarmer.

Tailgate? Pegwarmer. But...I'm still gonna get him and shave/cut off those horns. The only look normal on Cliffjumper.

Skyquake? Should sell okay for a character that was in all of 1 epsiode. Plus he kind of gives me an Acid Storm vibe..

Ultra Magnus? Win. Should sell pretty well, because it's a good mold, plus it's not Prime or Megatron, who are cluttering up the shelves.

Knockout repaint? Ugly as hell.

First Edition Re-releases? Better than RID (though I do like RID Vehicon better), but I already have them all. It'll be good for those who want them.

Dark Energon redecos? Again, ugly...not even one that looks mildly okay to me.
