"20% off Transformers (and most toys) at Myer this weekend - ends Monday 9th March.
Just in time for some new Earthrise and Studio Series toys, if your nearest Myer has done some re-stocking this week.
Transformers Earthrise updates for Australia.
After they started showing up in some Toyworlds and Myer stores last week, people are now seeing the Deluxe and Voyager sizes at Kmart stores around the country.
Kmart prices are the same as their Siege prices - $29 for Deluxe, $49 for Voyager.
Myer have the Deluxe, Voyager and Leader classes.
Toyworld are still the only ones so far with Micromasters and Battlemasters.
-
Also worth noting that Kmart have been getting in a new shipment of Studio Series toys as well, with the recent wave of Deluxe (Soundwave, Hotrod, Triplets, Bumblebee) and an older wave of Voyager (Long Haul, KSI Boss).
-
Some first sightings from the last week...
- Cyberverse Ultimate w4 Optimus & Shockwave (at Toyworld).
- Cyberverse Ultra w6 Clobber, Hotrod, Bumblebee (at Toyworld).
- Botbots series 5 single packs (yellow bubbles) at a Target in NSW.
- Rescue Bots Academy 4-pack for a very cheap $49 (it has $76 worth of toys) found at Kmart.
- Rescue Bots Mini Racers for $7 (six toys - Optimus, Bumblebee, Heatwave, Hoist, Whirl, Hotshot) found at Kmart."

Here is all the info from Ozformers.
BigW mid-year TOY SALE starts soon.
Transformers toys are on page 16 of the catalogue (already on the BigW website).. with some AWESOME prices.
-
Sale starts Online Tuesday JUNE 16th.
Sale prices in-store from Thursday JUNE 18th.
-
Sale ends Wednesday JULY 15th.
-
WFC Skylynx - $119 (save $30 - normally $149)
WFC & Studio Series LEADER - $49 (save $39 - normally $88)
WFC & Studio Series VOYAGER - $35 (save $14 - normally $49)
Bumblebee Movie Energon Ignitors Nitro - $15 (new price)
-
https://www.bigw.com.au/bigw-catalogues…
Skylynx is noted as a BigW exclusive, which is true for about 3 months, when it is allowed to be sold by other retailers. (Kmart & Target are NOT getting it)
The examples of the Leader & Voyager toys in the catalogue may not be the new items or waves in the stores for the sale... we will have to wait until the new stock arrives at stores in the next two weeks.
Leader class is not a regular size at BigW, so when their Toy Sale stock sells out, they might not get more in.
The Nitro toys also look to be a one-off shipment, so should stay at $15 until they sell out (they used to be $35).
Both Leader & Voyager are shown with examples of Studio Series and Generations WFC toys, so the sale price should apply to both series.
Scorponok was not scheduled for this sale, but should show up at BigW (and some other retailers) around September/October (subject to demand).

Huh, I expected a lot worse. Especially after the seacons, interesting.

Also you say $40 AUD is $11 more than retail price, but I can't find deluxes for that price anymore here. They're either all $35 AUD or in the Cyberverse deluxe figure case, $40 AUD.

I only paid $29AU for Ironworks at K-Mart. Even their website has that size point @ $29AU and Earthrise Voyagers @ $49AU

Also below is another post from them where they give details on the KMart exclusive Netflix Transformers toys, including prices, which have been sighted and which ones are expected to arrive. We posted images of the KMart catalogue they are found in which also includes a really good deal on the Cyberverse armour figures at only $9 AUS (which is $6 USD).
Australian Transformers toy reveal update.
As noted the other day, the reveal had to be pushed back a week because the toy samples were not going to be able to get here in time for today's planned reveal.
The new day and times are as follows...
.
REVEAL
- Thursday NOV 5th at 4pm for Brisbane timezone
- Thursday NOV 5th at 5pm for Sydney/Melbourne timezone
- Thursday NOV 5th at 1am for the New York timezone
- Thursday NOV 5th at 2pm for the Hong Kong timezone
(I was hoping we could do it a few hours earlier so that it wasnt in the middle of the night for people in America, but this will be the earliest we are allowed to do it before the scheduled listing of pre-orders. I guess people in America will be able to see what it is like for us in Australia, with the new reveals always being at about 1am here.)
.
PRE-ORDERS (at any online store listing this item) can be put up after these times...
- Friday NOV 6th at midnight for Brisbane timezone
- Friday NOV 6th at 1am for Sydney/Melbourne timezone
- Thursday NOV 5th at 9am for the New York timezone
- Thursday NOV 5th at 10pm for the Hong Kong timezone
.
Hopefully there will be no more delays.
Netflix Transformers toys featured in the new Kmart sale catalogue.
Starting OCT 29th until November 11th, is a pre-christmas catalogue that has the three size classes of Generations Netflix toys... not on sale, but just advertised as new and exclusive to Kmart.
https://www.kmart.com.au/catalogue...
Not that they need to be discounted, as they are already quite well priced compared to their US pricing.
Deluxe - $29 (wave 2 sighted - some wave 1 sighted in WA that could just be old stock)
Voyager - $49 (only wave 1 sighted - wave 2 was expected)
Leader - $89 (wave 1 sighted - only wave 1 expected)
Unfortunately, Kmart Australia have only managed to send these new Transformers toys out to QLD stores so far, so other states may not have them in time for their official sale period... but NOTE that they are not listed as "no rainchecks", so you can have them reserved for you when they do show up at your nearest store. (not sure how it will work with the smaller sizes that have an assortment, as you may just have to guess the number too reserve, and hope you get the ones you want).

Probably just the SS Bee we recently saw package photos of.
Also well done whoever made that ad. I love how Sideswipe is stepping out of his package.

Wave 2 Netflix Voyager Transformers (Optimus & Soundwave) found at several Kmarts in Perth.
Fingers crossed that they go to Kmart stores in other states, and that all of the stock didn't end up getting sent to the one state (WA).
Image here is from this week's Kmart catalogue, which doesn't have sale prices, but just promotes current items at their regular price... showing us Optimus and Soundwave, which was a bit of a tease before they were found in WA Kmarts.
With the wave 2 Leader pack showing up on the EB Games website, this means we did manage to get all of the first two waves in Australia... even if it has been a bit of a challenge getting them all before many of them quickly disappeared from stores.
(remember, we weren't even going to get any of wave 2 here until the people at the Australian branch of Hasbro went begging for stock, just for us fans - they can't get their hands on everything we would want to see here, but this was a good one for them to succeed on securing)
Speaking of KMart exclusives, some G1 reissues were also found. Those being the second wave of Minibots and Soundwave.
Soundwave & Buzzsaw - $79
cassettes Ravage & Rumble - $39
cassettes Frenzy & Lazerbeak - $39

OKay, Feb 1st, thanks for the info straight from Hasbro.
But, you wrote " The voyagers Hot Rod and Scourge from Transformers Studio Series 86 have been spotted."
Do you think they were put out early by mistake and won't be available in most places until Feb 1st, or does this mean they might get an early release? Do they sometimes get released earlier than the stated date?
Thanks!

Yes, toys are often released at retail before the release date. And at other times, they come out later.

When the Voyagers were found at a couple of Toyworlds in Victoria last week, it was assumed to be another case of Toyworld releasing toys too early, but today they were being found at Kmart stores in Victoria, along with the Deluxe wave as well... so it looks like this next wave of Studio Series toys, featuring characters from the 1986 Transformers Movie, are indeed being released early in Australia (before any other country), to cash in on Christmas.
Fingers crossed we see these at more stores around the country, and the Leader pack (Grimlock with Wheelie) as well.
(photos here are from the Allspark fansite and TCCA)
If you have found them, share your sightings with our community in the sightings section and on our boards in your region related thread.

Speaking of toys found in Australia, we also have commander class Rodimus Prime. Transformers Kingdom Rodimus Prime was spotted on the shelves at a Big W store in Miranda. The price was AU$149. That was posted on Twitter.

Some folks have said their order hasn't been cancelled so it may be a case of Amazon.com.au getting SOME stock but not getting ENOUGH stock (be it from Big Brother Amazon or Hasbro themselves) to cover all the pre-orders.

No one is avoiding anything, there is just not enough people. If you have time, it would help if you write the news articles you find lack on the site and I (or zerowolf) could front page it. You have the power to make things better.

That's pretty much where Transformers are heading these days, the likes of Big W, K-Mart and Target pick and choose what they want.
