Who cares if she can act ??? Everybody who was drooling over Megan Fox now all of a sudden is a movie critic ??? I wanted to hit the mute button every time Megan Fox opened her mouth and just enjoy the view...

Irrelevant. Michael Bay only needs her to follow orders.

However, whether she can act is irrelevant to me. This is a 'movie' not a 'film.' There needs to be just enough dialogue for advancing to scenes where things are exploding and imploding

We go to see the bots in the film, not the humans. The bots are supposed to be the stars, yet they kept playing second fiddle to the puny fleshlings in both of the first two movies. Give the bots the stardom for once. The phrase "human sidekicks" means that they don't save the day, they assist the bots who are supposed to save the day.

The only trouble is "we", as in Transfans, make up a very small percent of the viewing population. I totally agree with you but it's rare for an action movie to be greenlit without some kind of romance subplot and the eye candy is vital to keep non-fans buying tickets.Sabrblade wrote:Why do we even need a replacement? I'm with you. Somebody please, for the love of Primus, lock this girl in a room with a case of Twinkies!!!. She hasn't got enough lead in her butt to keep from being blown out to sea by the first explosion that goes off during filming. And without an over tightened push-up bra, Leo will have a bigger chest than this twig. I say don't even bother finding a replacement for Fox, just move on without her and devote that time and attention to developing the bots and Sam's character.

Humans being a big part of it is nothing new. The only difference is that some series do it better then others. And some do it really badly...

People need to get over this mindset that an emaciated b00b job makes a movie. Keep those silly little hussies out of it, please. Especially when there are so many other good actresses out there.

And I know there isn't much substance to a movie like this, but for God's sake can we look for an actual actress instead of some nookie girl who's sole purpose is to attract the horny fanboy? Or am I just asking too much?

The minute I read who this person was I just couldnt stop laughing. Just kept picturing Mr Bay with a check list of Victoria Secret Models on hand "Just in case".
Ha ha ha.....I'm sorry but thats the only reason I believe this lass was choosen. Cause Bay, in his womanizing wisdom, who shot Victoria Secret models, just took out his list and told his producer...
"I want this one."
Awwwww, geez. This is sad, very sad. I mean at least with Megan she actually made movies. Even before Transformers, she was filming "something". This though....
At least I know why Shia came back at all. Every film in this franchise he's been lip locking the hotties, now he can add a victoria secret model to the list, yeah it's no suprise why he came back to work for Bay.

But takes place on earth.
Don't you think it would be kind of weird not to have any squishy friends on earth,
Otherwise it because war of the worlds with giant transforming robots.
I mean you could have them visit earth, ally with the millitary some how, then make a war on earth, but that makes for a non kid friendly film, because you don't have a Sam witwicky or whatever being the hero.
What I don't get, is how he keeps hooking up with chicks that are attractive, yet totally okay with him working with giant robots.
That would be a decent dramantic comedy in and of itself.
part robot war film, part dude does something stupid and has to win girl back film

ShinkenPrime wrote:I love how people are upset about humans being so involved in the plot for the movie, pretty ignoring how involved they were in the plot for the G1 Cartoon. Honestly...bout the only Transformers cartoon in America that didn't rely on humans was Beast Wars and Beast Machines. Robots in Disguise was a bit light if I remember correctly. Let's not forget about Spike defeating Megatron in G1 or just the fact that Prime's logic was essentially "Hmmm...I need a spy. Let me send the bright yellow autobot with no weapons and the young human boy." Or "Hmm...going for a dangerous mission. Let's bring the human! He can sightsee!" Hell..even Megatron got his own pet human for a few episodes.

and beast wars was my favorite cartoon have megatron step on the people

Just Negare wrote:An anoxeric model with no acting experience ruined the Resident Evil movie franchise.
Except, y'know, those 14 movies and 3 TV series she did before the 1st Resident Evil, including Fifth Element and The Messenger.
Yeah, no acting experience at all there.
Plus, that was more the writers and director knowing nothing about the franchise(much like a Uwe Boll movie).
But please, keep making ill informed statements like that.
Not being particularly good =|= no experience(see: Keanu Reeves for another example).
