Fast forward to about 11 seconds and you'll see how I feel about this. Don't worry I'm not killing myself in anger. This is the good kind of freakin' out.
I tried to put the video up here, put it wouldn't come up. Anyway, credit goes to baseball5675. Not the best quality, but the only good one I could find.

Thrust, Dirge, Red Alert, Drift/Blurr, Straxus, Grapple, Jazz, Tracks, Scourge, Perceptor, and Wreck-Gar!
AND they have made new figures or re-issued almost every character that made an appearance in the original movie including the characters I have just listed who were in the movie:
With Botcon Sharkticons, Bumblebee & Cliffjumper (wfc & Altenators), Unicron (Universe/2010 reissue), Soundwave (SDCC G1 reissue + wfc), insecticons, The Cassettes (Encore), Perceptor (Generations + reissue) and Blaster (SDCC reissue).
All but confirmed Kup and Thundercracker in the near future.
And remembering that the Dinobots are slated for reissue next year.....
Which leaves from the movie:
Springer(an official one)?
Shockwave (surely due to his upcoming appearance in Transformers 3 he will get some kind of G1 homage
Arcee(long overdue)?
Blitzwing (come on - you've already done Astrotrain and Octane!)
Devastator (long overdue a decent G1 homage).
Galvatron (surely the next Transformers Masterpiece)
I suppose Hound, Wheelie and Sunstreaker were in there but they have all been well done in the Classics line.

Some of the suggestions are (if history has taught us anything) unlikely - Arcee, Shockwave, Devastator.
But others like Masterpiece Galvatron have a good chance in my opinion.

Agreed! That Kup would be SOOOO badass!

I concur. As much as I like Wave 1 of Generations, I'm getting tired of seeing them as shelfwarmers everywhere I go. I want to get my hands on Jazz, Tracks, and Perceptor asap.

O_o
Patience is the key, my fellow Transformer-lovin' brother... But yeah, the sooner they can get 'em in, the sooner my Classics shelf is overrun with them.

A true-to-form Kup would be cool though. Wings of Honor was decent, but they could do much better

Give it time....if they are doing Dirge and Thrust Thundercracker will come in time, just glad I finished my repaint before I had to see or hear about him.

And while I'm hoping too see the likes of Springer and Arcee, I'm also hoping for a 25th anniversary DVD release of The Movie.

Or perhaps blu-ray?

Im sick of these "modern twists". They left Tracks and Jazz vechicle modes alone, Why do they have to make Kup a car, Blurr a Honda, Scoruge a flying wing, and Wreck Gar a WWII style ground vechicle ???
Just do what you did with Cyclonus and keep the original vechicle concept going strong. I cant stand these brainstorms and innovations coming from the creators of Power Core Combiners.

Just want to clarify this for you....Blurr is not a "Honda" he's more leaning towards the Nissan GTR and they want to give these characters an "earth" mode instead of them keeping a cybertronian mode....second Wreck-Gar isn't a ground vehicle....he's still a motorcycle the vehicle on the cove ris Perceptor which his vehicle form is based off of his IDW form

As long as it's on a disc in fancy, commemorative packaging, I don't care what format it's in.

Thirded. And it better rule like that holographic one where one side it's Optimus and the original cast then angle it a little and it would change to Rodimus and the new cast. I found a image that had that, and was tempted to make it my avatar. But right now, I have my sights on a specific one.......

that image was on the 20th anniversery release, and sine i have said release i wont need to buy it again .
but as far as 2011 is concerned, the more Transformer: the Movie (G1 not bayverse) figures we get the better. here is hoping for a generations Arcee (WFC edition would be just fine), Springer, Blitzwing (as someone else said Astrotrain and Octane prove deluxe size triplechangers can be done), G1 colors Astrotrain (i know about henkei but one can dream of lower cost versions right), a true Ultra Magnus, Shockwave, and a US release of 2010 Unicron
