THE RUMOR/SPOILER
"Here's a translation I tried to make of parts of an article I read today in the french movie magazine "Premier Cine Live":
-----
Set: Egypt, in front of kheops pyramid, stands an ancient palace built for King Faruk's guests.
At 'Action', Shia runs through the yard, stops at the doorstep and hits the door with his shoulder. Megan Fox, John Turturo and Ramon Rodriguez come next and hurry inside the building.
Shia heads up, shout a few words at an imaginary Bumblebee, and gets in.
Three cars, the Camaro, the red TRAX and the green BEAT, start quickly and stop a bit further away to look out. The three vehicules are driven by black-suited (and thereby 'invisible') stuntmen behind the smoked glass.
At the end of the day, the crew moves to the third and smallest pyramid, Mykerinos.
John Turturo, back as allways angry agent Simmons, has to climb up a few stones. This hasn't been done for 30 years: Too many accident occurred and egyptians had forbidded it.
Turturo will try to run from an imaginary Decepticon.
Michael Bay says: "I had the idea of these two stupid Transformers, Skids ans Mudflap. They're twins who can&'t stop bickering, but they do heroic things at the beginning of the movie.
Bumblebee, on his side, has become more serious. He doesn't want to leave Sam's parents'; garage. There is also an old Transformer, who loses screws and bolts at every move. And it's John Turturo voicing him."
-----
The movie will start at Gyzeh, Egypt, long before pyramids were built, and will end at the same place nowadays, with a huge fight beetween Autobots and Decepticons.
It's said that we'll learn in the movie how pyramids were built. Does it involve any Transformer?
Sorry if my english is not perfect. For french fans, it's in the march issue of "Première Ciné Live", page 96."

I was reading the wikkipedia articule about the movie today in the morning and it confirms that mister Turturro will voice mister Fire
Here is the link

The part that says he losses parts each time he moves sounds funny and scary at the same time, I hope he is portrayed as a cool and tough old man as Clint Eastwood or something like that

My guess is that he will be more Wilford Brimley than Clint Eastwood, but you never know.

I'm still waiting for Sam Jackson to get a shot at voicing one of the robots. IMO, Jazz should have lived and Jackson should have been the one voicing him, or better yet fix 'bees vocal processor and let Jackson loose with him.
But Turtoro as a cantankerous, rugged old war-horse of an Autobot. Hell Yeah! Even though the movie has a dark theme going it's still going to be a lot of fun.

It was stupid when they credited the Predators for the Incan temples, and I don't think it will make much more sense to credit the Transformers with the pyramids.
Sorry, I've been trying to keep an open mind with the sequel, but if they try to pull some AvP crap I will be highly disappointed.

Don't use Wikipedia as a source. The only reason it says he voices him there is because we (the fans) said it first. They can't confirm anything we say because they just go repeating what the fans say.Segor wrote:Sounds great, and your english is good broh!

Wikipedia is neither a reliable nor an official source when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Nobody is giving the TF's credit for building the Pyramids.
If anything I give the Egyptians heaps of credit for having the wherewithall to bury a bad-ass TF UNDER a Pyramid!
Let's see him shove THAT mass of rocks off him!
You also have to figure that Bay is already pressing his luck giving us another Wheelie. If he were to add insult to injury and credit the Pyramids to the TF's, I don't think Paramount has enough Ninja Bodyguards to keep him safe.

Still, only tigertracks 24 and wickipedia has said that Tuturro is Jetfire. Neither the article or any other news has backed that up. Another site posted the same article and didn't claim a character for Tuturro. Is there anything more substantial to back this up?

primezimm wrote:Just wondering. Most of the replies seem to take this as fact. Although, if the leader class fig is any example, it looks like Jetfire has a walking stick.
While it may be foolish for many of us to accept this info so easily without other verification, I think some of us find it well within the realm of plausible just because of Turtoros ability (he's good with impressions) and the fact that he is already a part of the project and it makes sense to utilize the talent you already have at hand.
The walking stick/cane has been a subject of much...debate...over on the other thread. Since I have been rather, ummm, outspoken about it on the other thread I am going to behave myself and decline commenting about it here. You'll have to excuse me whilst I go gnaw on a piece of furniture in an attempt to make good on that promise.
