But yeah, some of the names ... even Fansprojects' names for the Nonsecticons kinda suck.
Edit: Not loving that wait piece. I really hope that's just in the prototype becaus eit looks like it was made to fully collapse.

also, doesn't it look like his chest would fall apart if you shook him too much?

In its combiner form by itself it reminds me of a turkey (in the form you buy from the grocery store, not the complete live bird).

Sad thing is... you can't actually attach these first two figures together!!!! You have an arm and some abs.
When they arrive, you can't even make a stubby stump of a no-arm, no-leg giant wad of RAWRRR-I'M-HERCULES-AND-I"M-EATIN'-UP-ALL-YOR-SHELF-SPACE-NOM-NOM-NOM floor-candy .
And I was looking forward to that.

If the colour matches that of exgraver i'll get it. One thing that worries me i want to see a full Devy review so we all can be 100% sure that it fits together nicely and can still be posed. If TFC wants to have their figs review send them my way hehe.

However, I'd still prefer to get a FP upgrade for my Classics Devastator. His two buddies got one and now he feels all naked.

Exgraver's transformation is spot on if not a little more detailed transformation wise. his arms tuck in beside him and his legs fold up underneath him just like the g1 version.

Blurrz wrote:Heavylabor. Because I think I'd rather give birth than fork over that much potential retail Transformers money on a third party gestalt that's getting released piece by piece. I just can't justify doing the early bird thing on this toy. What if one of the pieces has terrible QC? What if it has terrible shipment? What if it's cancelled and I'm left with 4 limbs and no head?
Even at the better price, I don't think these are going to sell at the rate they were expecting...obviously it is just a feeling based on comments and such, but I would also guess you'll see plenty of stock on these guys and a reduced price for not only the individuals but maybe even the complete package. those of us who can wait and afford...shall take our chances. If I could get the whole thing for 400 bucks shipped...It would be a no brainer...but since I feel like they got greedy at the 100 dollar price point...and are now reducing it slightly...no deal until that comes true.

gothsaurus wrote:What's the deal with the color of the crotch-butt?
I can't believe I am having this conversation at all, let alone on two forums, lol. So far, the only colour images of Heavylabour we have seen are the 3d computer renderings. They would give Hercules grey hips, purple thighs and a black crotchplate. Personally I am rather used to Devastator having a green crotchplate, except in IDW where it was purple. Either way, not black. I can always paint it, but due to the transformation it will get scratched and bumped a lot, meaning I will forever be doing touchups in that case, what a pain.
I really hope when we do get a colour production image, that that crotchplate is green.

I think it is deliberate, that way we have two parts that do not connect. Well I suppose you could hook Scavenger up to Long Haul's leg connector, would look freakin weird though lol.

For me, that's actually a point in their favor that I'm displaying them like that.

I preordered Heavylabor just a few hours after saying I was going to wait. If you're on the fence about this set and have the money, this collector says pull the trigger.
I completely agree. This guy feel like an official Classics Voyager figure. I have zero complaints.

I'll support this opinion as well.

DecepticonFinishline wrote:Oh man! If GetRightRobot is down than I am not regretting my decision! (I don't remember why, but I highly regard your opinion on such matters, GetRightRobot...) Gotta wait til the next paycheck to get Longhaul Heavylabor. This is going to be great! When I was young all I had was Scavenger and MixMaster! And that was at least 15 years after they came out, and now I'm going to have what is probably the most massive and detailed Devastator to date!
Thanks man, here is a little piece of mine in regards to the cost:
1) Sideburn is a standard deluxe size figure
2) Thundershred is almost as tall and just bulky, easily qualifying as a deluxe. $50.00
3) Exgraver is certainly large enough to be a voyager. Hasbro rules say it should cost twice as much as a deluxe, and it does on 3rd party price scale.

Man you guys are jerks. I had completely written this guy off and was looking at the iGear Ratchet and Ironhide to be the outrageous figures I was going to get, how can I allow my brain to think pass when you drop that kind of logic? I was going to live vicariously through the forums and youtube but now I have to get both.
On a side note: I've used TFSource repeatedly and have nothing but positive things to say about them......but RobotKingdom has these guys for cheaper and even with the shipping from overseas....still cheaper.

When I think about it, now I am back in New Zealand Exgraver does not seem so expensive. Deluxes can go for 40 dollars here, voyagers 65, and I spent 90 on Exgraver. Not bad for a third party piece, when you compare it to how Hasbro drills us here!

Ouch!
Yeah, my girlfriend is very good at hunting down transformers for me over there, it works out a LOT cheaper, she just opens them and sends them without the bulky packaging. Whenever I go to the states I come back with suitcases full of transformers lol. But I can understand when people are used to 12 dollar deluxes how daunting 78usd 3rd party figures like TFC's contructicons are.
If and when she moves out here to NZ with me we may have a problem, we both collect transformers and won't have anyone to hunt for us in the states!
