For a guy this size who only looks mediocre in bot mode, iGear's asking a bit too much for him IMO.

Something must be different with this release. $105 - $150? Not online vendors normal style with the markups on eHobby stuff or any import exclusives. $250 Grimlock was a recent reference.

It seems correct as e-hobby has it for like 70.

Who has ordered from RK? How well of a packaging job do they do?

I ordered a TFA Leader Ultra Magnus from RK(it was on clearance). I haven't received it yet but I should(hopefully) be getting it soon. Once I get it, I'll report back on this thread with my findings of RK's order packaging.

I ordered Binaltech Arcee from them last month. I figured the beat up box thing was a fluke, but apparently it wasn't. The item took a little over a week to get here (pretty quick), but Arcee's box was beat up. Again, the figure was in good condition, but I was hoping to keep her MISB.
Soooo...from what I've seen, their prices are cheaper than BBTS, and (for me at least) the items ship quicker. However, I think BBTS packs their items WAY better. It kind of sucks because if I order MP Black Convoy from RK, I run the risk of getting a damaged box...and the Japanese MP boxes look so cool...

Dang. I'm not one for keeping boxes but packaging like the Japanese MP boxes and packaging for larger figures are things I like to keep and keep in good condition. I hope Ultra Magnus arrives okay...

That's kinda what I was afraid of. The couple items I received from overseas (not RK) arrived in less than mint condition. So I guess the question is: is this box worth approx. $25?

I have a decent sized Nemesis Prime/Scourge collection and I just can't bring myself to get this figure. Even though I don't own the MP Prime mold and the colors look cool, he's just not Nemesis Prime. The only Black Convoy figure I own that wears an Autobot logo is Alternity Black Convoy; and that's only because there's a reason behind it (him being a reformed Universe Nemesis Prime).
I'm still not sure if I want this figure, because the mold IS awesome (a friend of mine has MP Prime). Still...those blaring Autobot symbols kinda ruin it for me. That's the same reason I passed on Hybrid Style Black Convoy.

"The battle between the Cybertron and Destron forces had grown fiercer than ever before. In an attempt to break this deadlock, Cybertron engineers developed two special missile launchers. These next-generation weapons, which can be wielded by Convoy alone, normally boast high accuracy, but with Convoy’s body covered in a special coating that effectively absorbs sunlight, their power and firing range are bolstered even further. However, since fighting for extended periods in this “Blackbody” state puts Convoy at risk of overheating, battles must be ended quickly."

Despite being called "Nemesis Prime", I'd like to think of MP-01B as something akin to the Hybrid Style Convoy Black Version since it has Autobot symbols. Also, "Nemesis Prime" and "Black Convoy" seem to be used often in error as it really depends on which version you're dealing with. Are we talking about Black Convoy/Scourge of Car Robots/RiD? Scourge/Nemesis Prime of Micron Legend/Armada? Nemesis Prime of Universe/Convoy Super Black of Alternity? Black Convoy/Nemesis Prime of Binaltech/Alternators? There are many variations of a black coloured Optimus Prime/Convoy...the latest MP version is just another variation.
I think the mold is great, the colours are great, and I missed out on the previous MP Optimus Prime/Ultra Magnus repaint so I'm going for this while the price is low(compared to the aftermarket prices).
