I wonder if people who get him will accept to resell the weapon.

I've read from people who got Botcon Ginrai that they probably should have stopped even before.

Yeah, this mold has gotten more redecos than a CW toy. Still, it's a great mold! The Henkei version is on my wishlist, along with a matching Megs...

Well they are mutated sea monsters, so they are supposed to look somewhat strange.
What exact issues did you have with them?
My BBTS Piranacon is in storage, but it did not have any deformations on the figures themselves. They did have some looseness in certain joints, but beyond that, they look pretty crisp, close to the originals.
Mold degradation generally manifests itself with loose joints and issues in transformation, but generally not with deformed parts or unsightly molding problems.
Even Classics Prime and more so with the classics Seeker mold which both are in the double digits number of uses have shown no actual deformations of the mold. They can suffer from looseness in joints in certain cases, but the actual molding is still functional.
Piranacon has seen a few re-releases but nowhere near the amount of uses seen by the Prime and the Seeker mold.

Another sign of degradation is molded detailing looking less sharp and crisp, but you'd really need to look closely and compare to actually see that. Plus, it's quite possible that the Classic Prime tooling has been restored in some minor areas.

True.
But super unsightly deformation of sculpted surfaces has not been seen, I think, beyond G1 Jazz's mouth.

There is no way it is not happening that Bludgeon is way to specific in the parts to just be a one off.

Not to mention he comes with a redeco of Terri-Bull's vehicle aka Tankette. And I wouldn't be so sure about it happening, we still haven't seen Soundwave. I'd still want it to happen.
And is it me, or Bludgeon getting a lot of love lately. TFCC, RiD2015, and now this!

Was their a Soundwave besides the current leader one which I believe Takara already has?
I think Bludgeon is the next exclusive after Blue convoy just like how the latter was with Convobat.
Anyways it's good Bludgeon is getting love since he is one of the coolest cons yet doesn't have much presence besides the comics and a couple of phone games so if he is going to be in Rid that makes it his first animated media to date.

Thanks to Twitter user burningheartsam, we have a look at the comic that came packaged with the figure, with its English translation of the brief dialogue, and cross-use of accessories in the line. And via オンスローター a rendition, using Hardhead and Getaway's Titan Master, of the possibly teased Bludgeon figure people are expecting to surface next. Check it all out below!

Yup, a Beast Wars Soundwave one. A Mutant with a bat and alligator mode (and GPS, sigh), he's depicted as Mindwipe with the Nightbeat head.

Looks more like the Rid sword.

Of course it does, that's why Takara gets ALL the money, they plan this stuff all out.

It's the Rid Windblade Sword since it has the 5mm peg on the sheath and it's a "thicker" sheath.

You're right, the peg is in a different place on the Generations one. Also, scrolling back, I see someone beat me to it before I even started.

Anywhoooo.....Sadly exclusives and special releases are too rich for my blood. Magna Convoy does look really nice, and the Bludgeon-should it happen-is such a great idea. Too many things! Too many thiiiinnnngs

Bludgeon appears to be based in part on Hasbro's RID2001 Bludgeon, the white stripes on the shoulders and green canon give it away.
Yeah, I want that as a figure.
And I see now that I need to get a MP Delta Magnus.
Anyway, my experiment ordering Magna Convoy directly from e-Hobby appears to have been a great success. If he ships today he should be here by the end of next week. Grand total came to about $72 for the figure and $22 for shipping via Air (could have shipped SAL for $5 less) and proxy fee (Tenso.com) for a grand total of $94 (could have been $89 with SAL). Better and faster than the $110 from TFSource and BBTS.
I'm thinking of writing a guide, but I'll hold off until it actually arrives. I'm experimenting with Takara Tomy Mall as well, put myself in for their TTS Black Convoy (Scourge) purchase lottery, we'll see what happens. *fingers crossed*

Well I read The Toxic Transformer and the one with Offroad and Alpha Bravo afterwards I read the Tfwiki articles on them if I didn't get anything including references and plot stuff.
I like them since their fairly original stories with focus on characters that don't have a lot of fiction going for them.
As a person who contently brainstorms head canons and new fiction despite not writing any myself, reading stories like the above is good brain fuel for the imagination.

The artist for that comic is Hayato Sakamoto isn't he and doesn't he know a lot of the lore?

It's not Sakamoto. Point is, he's quite knowledgeable about obscure lore, right (or he uses TFWiki a lot)?

Plus Magna Convoy's accompanying pack-in Legends comic, also from Randy:
Posted by Jelze Bunnycat on June 14th, 2017 @ 2:26pm CDT
And quite a few little things show in the spin-off comic:
- the original complete Matrix Sword has Magna Convoy's blaster, redecoed from Mindwipe's, attached.
- the Rollermaster Corps seems like a clone army (Note that "Corps" is derived from 軍団 gundan, or "army corps")... that kills off its own creator in the end Also, the "leader" uses the Combiner head of the mold.
- in the images projected by "Bludegon's" tank buddy we see another Convoy, this time with a Hardhead body (seems to be quite popular now). More than likely that's Reverse Convoy from Robot Masters, the only canonical one with a tank body.
I'm pretty sure someone can signify the other images, like the Wanted poster
:EDIT: The scabbard is most definitely RID 2015 Windblade's. Both are styled the same, but RiD2015's has the 5mm peg at the base, while T30's has it at the bottom.

I'm not so certain of that. Bludgeon mentioned "'Blue' awoke at last" and "Seven Lights" which leads me to believe we'll be seeing seven characters based around the seven colors of the rainbow. I don't think that guy being red was a mistake, he's the only red one on the page. Of the ten projections if you ignore a few characters that have been mixed in you have:
Red - The guy behind Megalligator
Orange - The guy on the far right, I think the hand touching the wanted sign is his/hers.
Yellow - Jhiaxus, I think that yellow leg on the bottom right projection is his.
Green - Hunter Ratchet with the red cape
Blue - Magna Convoy
Indigo - Deadlock (who smokes a ton of cigarettes that could have captured him?)
Violet - Whatever that purple one is below Deadlock on the left.
The red guy could just be another made-up guy like Magna Convoy. Could be Sentinel Prime I suppose, but it sounds like Sentinel is the name of Magna's ship.
