Prototype Images: Takara Tomy ARTS Mega Drive Megatron

Takara Tomy Arts business meeting, a possible variant "Mega Drive Megatron" appeared! And items that can make pudding without breaking the shell, unique products jostling and "motivation button".

April 16, Takara Tomy Arts held a "Takara Tomy Arts, summer business meetings" in Tokyo and Sumidasangyoukaikan. Session lasting until the 17th. Currently, there is only an artist rendering, but this 19cm Optimus Prime will transform into the first generation PlayStation. It is slated to be announced in early 2015, so it will be a while until there are more details.

Oh man, yeah, Super FamiConvoy would have made so much more sense, having been the main competitor to the Mega Drive and a fun play on the two names. Such a pity.

How much you wanna bet Nintendo's royalties were a bit on the high side or that Nintendo utterly refused?

Simple. Like Starscream, the Saturn tried to take on the leader and failed miserably.
