Prototype Images of Deluxe Bumblebee - 2007-08 Camaro

Man, even un-painted this figure blows the '74 camaro deluxe BB figure out of the water! The detail is great and the design is much more faithful to the movie model.

Arm cannon with melee rape scissors FTW. I might have to pick this guy up as a member of the Golden Brigade, a team of yellow transforming cars who are the bad guys in Bad Mother Truckers, an upcoming stop-motion series I'm working on.

This figure is way better than the other BB. Anyone know when this figure is gonna be released?

That thing is frakin sweet! I so want him now. He's gonna be in wave 3 i know it. I doubt he's a wave 2.

Anyone else notice how in the first transformation scene with Spike and Bee how Bee looks like 3 times bigger than his Camaro alt mode would allow?

No wave 2 from what I saw is similar to wave 1, and no where near as good as this version..I'm gonna find a link to the Wave 2 Revision version I saw earlier..

This entire toy is unfinished. It's not painted and has no decals. The doors are clear blue so the windows will be transparent. The rest of the door will be painted yellow.

Can't believe how much this toy pwns the old BB. Every kid is going to already have the old one and then want this.

even unpainted, this figure sucks. consider this £$$$$ saved

It isn't the 07 Camero btw it is scheduled for 08-09 release. There isn't an 07 Camero.

Personally don't see the excitement here. It is literally the exact same figure with an external body modification. I like the new Camero at least it doesn't look like the poor mans vette anymore. But really the figure isn't anything to get excited or upset about.

all that complaining about them doing the first runs wrong.. So they finally got a Deluxe BB that mirrors the actual movie design.. the feet, the arms, the Chest and the weapon are just better overall.. I really got to hand it to Hasbro, job well done..

you can clearly see the BB in that image looks different from the first release..but still not very movie accurate in terms of the chest or I assume the articulation is the same in the legs as the first release..the face on revision 1 is silver on BB.. not sure what the changes are on the other bots, if any..

In the news post it says that the revised BB 2008 Camaro might be included in the Arcee Line up, but I found a post that contradicts that...I think it will be released later since the other one was already done..

Ah, much better. But it looks like his chest is not transformed properly in these pics.

I dont know how you could not see this toy as a improvement over the old Camaro version. The arms and legs aren't as lanky and delicate. The chest armour is so much nicer. The weapon is cooler (I grow so tired of the spring loaded missiles). And the feet are SO much better looking. The feet alone were stopping me from buying the other.

I think the main difference in this version is the remolded Chest plate to be more movie accurate.. the rest looks similar to the other First Version...

I just hope the legs are more articulated then the other version, which would be good..

So far Barricade is the best deluxe in terms of Articulation i have seen, and Bonecrusher is simply amazing in bot format...Protofroms ball jointed hips make them slide down/fall over too much.. its a pain..

Oh that's kinda cool looking , but yeah the face still suck monkey do-do. No sale on my part, crapy movie designs .

Yeah, I'm 100% convinced that is the same 08 Camaro BB in both auction, just the SPX_toys one didn't have the chest transformed properly - if you look, all the breaking points in the hood match up to the transformation in today's auction.

Now THAT is quality! And its not even finished. I hope it will be release cuz this one is awseome and very accurate.

Not really if you look closely at the side of the hood and the side of the completed hood, they are different..this is entirely a different mold on the chest area, and i think the head on the other one got a re mold too..the breakage is there on the one thats got a complete hood from SPX, but that same breakage is also on the Ultimate BB which that hood clearly doesn't break down into the chest.. and it makes sense that the SPX auction would have a complete hood since the Ultimate was done that way, and why this new auction says "Revised" ...

even with the ironed out bugs, they've forgotten a big one

could someone do a comaprison with this version and the other version that posted before only differnce i can tell between the two is that this version has clear doors and blue windows.

I dont see a big differnce between the two its probally just me.

I stand by my original assumption that they are one in the same, the spx headlights just arent flipped up which isnt surprising because most of the spx ones are mistransformed in some form.

Here are some comparison shots. Its just spx's inst fully transformed. We need to get a hold of whoever bought this one and have them do a gallery of let ryan do one to know for sure though.

yeah someone needs to get the spx version or the other version and see if the chest can become one piece in bot mode or separate at will, i still say though that the completed hood one from SpX is different, and that if you were able to flip the lights up, the hood pieces are too big, and that the other solved it in the re mold..I'm probably wrong.. but the auction says Revised, and I have heard that there are revisions coming out, like V.2 of some of the bots, because of the rush to produce merchandise for the movie, hence Wave 2 revision 1 1970s BB..

Does anyone have any comparison pics between the 1970's BB and the 2nd wave revision? I was wondering what's the difference in the two. thanks!

And boy do I want this new BB. I think the SPX one is the same one just mis-transformed.

There's no difference. I've studied both pictures up close and not a single difference except one's painted, one isn't, and one's transformed correctly, one isn't.
