Pictures of Universe Hardhead

Gonna get this, I think Universe Onslaught is one of my favorite mold from the line. Hopefully Hardhead doesn't have a bad batch with electronics like Onslaught did.

I'll buy this guy, but I really someone would make a custom face/head for him.

I think it makes a better Hardhead than it did Onslaught. I'm buying this one when it comes out!

I love U Onslaught, great mold even with its flaws. I don't think U Hardhead will have the bad electronics since a running change was done for Onslaught.

I'm liking Hardhead but I wish there was more variety in the colour scheme to break up the overall form. However, with all the different sculpted panels, one could add a bit more paint with little trouble.

If it wasn't for the overwhelming use of green on the figure, I'd agree. If the shield was green too, he'd look like one big green...thing.

In a way, no. I mean, I look at it as Hardhead just wrenching off some armour plating he found somewhere and using it as a shield. The hand drawn Decepticon symbol, red circle, and kill score markings all have a messy hand drawn look so I can make sense of the shield being something that isn't standard issue and thus looking out of place. Hardhead doesn't accessorize and match colours like Onslaught does. Hardhead is all about using random pieces of metal.

Hehe, that's just my way of rationalizing why I'll have his shield on in bot mode. Also, I'm just going off the general personality of his G1 incarnation. Hmm...I wonder if TFA Headmaster will fit on U Hardhead?

Too bad it won't have special quotes/sounds like the other TFA Leaders.

Well I tried TFA Headmaster on my U Onslaught and it sort of fits. It's too big and goofy but that's how it looks with any figure. It looks pretty funny on U Onslaught with his dual cannons peeking over his back, his arm cannon, and the G1 Onslaught gun in hand.

You have to admit, the Headmaster unit on TFA was a great concept, but the guy is just too obnoxious for my taste.

When I first saw this, I thought no. After seeing the bot mode, I saw yes.

Looks pretty sweet, cool repaint, I like it.

Sweet mold, sweet repaint. I'm really looking forward to this one.

I like the original Headmaster from G1 series though. I think Hardhead was one of the 1st figure that I got from the Headmaster series.

I think either my cousin or one of my friends had G1 Hardhead. I have vague memories of the Headmaster toys. I remember thinking that was so cool as a kid.

Yea, it was a futuristic tank and stood taller than other Headmasters.

That is one great-looking TF. I still haven't picked up a version of the mold, if only they'd release it as a character I collect... maybe one of these days I'll just get one regardless.

Beautiful repaint, but I really, REALLY wish they'd remolded his head and made him a Headmaster. That would have made him an instant buy.

It would have been interesting to see a proper Headmaster U Hardhead. Seeing the good job when Universe Cyclonus received a redesigned Nightstick, it would have been cool to see Hardhead get a redesigned Duros.

This could totally be a Shattered Glass figure for all the brutality it exudes. I can't wait to get him.

Eh, a lot of repurposed figures still have normal faction symbols. I don't know if it's worth the efforts.

I guess, but some repurposed figures that are from the 2007 Movie All-spark line doesn't even have faction symboles, except S-7 printed on them.
