Our very own Scotty P wrote a great wrap up about what was learnt from the Google Hangout with Hasbro. To add images to it, our friend Ben, from BWTF, took images of what was discussed with the following people:
John Frazier - Senior Brand Development + Marketing Manager, Transformers
Ben Montano - Brand Marketing Director, Transformers
John Warden - Design Manager, Transformers
Aristides “Arrow” Membreno - Design Manager, Transformers
The images of these Transformers: The Last Knight toys are blurry since this was a call on the computer but we can still make out some cool aspects like Cogman's open dashboard which seats two Titan Masters and Cogman's head on Nitro. There are also shots of Infernicus, Skullitron and Hot Rod.

So, wait... Is all the Titan Master/Headmaster Cogman compatible with several of the other figures in the TLK line or is Nitro also a Titan Master/Headmaster?

Nitro has a standard head, not a headmaster. But they did design his head to use the titan master port, so you can take his nontransforming head off and replace it with a titan master. Cogman is also titan master compatible, but his head is actually a titan master too

OH MAN! That removable head gimmick AND the GI Joe inspired jet makes Nitro even COOLER! 
Definitely one of the few TLK toys I'm TRULY hyped about!
Also, the only thing to complete my being absolutely correct about Nitro is if his cockpit fits a titanmaster as well. I feel good about myself.

Cool he does match up quite a bit with the cgi model although kinda strange Nitro has a more unique toy head compared to the straight up Shockwave head he has in the movie.
I did not use the first picture for comparison it was just the first picture I could find on google images of just Nitro.

I don't get the mix of heads. My guess is that since the CGI design has Shockwave's head and the KSI drone has a different head, that they decided to design the toy as kinda a mix. Who knows though. His head might transform to look like that for all we know. Some kinda battle mode.

Spent yesterday fangirling over these new reveals. Nitro and Cogman are definite must buys for me, especially since i love the Titan Master gimmick.

Thanks to podcast superstar, Razorclaw, we now know of some beautiful new packaging found on the Snakas Blog. These are all the upcoming Legion Walmart exclusives from Transformers: The Last Knight. You can see the Autobots Unite logo on the boxes. One super cool news though is that the blog post says the Voyager Optimus toy is a "targeted exclusive", which tells me we finally know which toy will be exclusive to Target. There are three Legion Class 2 packs: Bumblebee & Hot Rod (in a different deco to the individual legion), Optimus Prime & Ravenspar, Megatron & Berserker.

I just figured it was simply because Nitro is currently the only Titan Master-compatible figure who is predominately light gray, has a robot mode design that doesn't resemble any of the more recognizable non-Thunderwing characters, and turns into a similarly-colored jet-like aircraft.Kurona wrote:Can someone point me to why Nitro apparently makes a decent Thunderwing? Why not repaint some of the excellent DOTM Cyberverses I wonder?

My want list whittled down to Nitro (perhaps multiple) and Cogman. Megs' robot mode just looks pretty eh to me, Scorn's beast arm kibble on his shoulder means I can't justify him over the Deluxe and Steelbane is turning out to be a disappointment in terms of QC. But this Titan Master interaction is just awesome and Nitro's design is pretty incredible

ok....but....wasn't there two different sizes of Planet Cybertron coming out....Primus & a Deluxe Class size! so i'm wondering what this deluxe class size is going to look like coz i can't think of any deluxe class size figure that they could redeco that from(YES....the staff or someone on here'll prob point out that it doesn't HAVE to be redecoed from an already existing deluxe class sized fig & prob be a new fig altogether)

I didn't realise the Voyager and Leader versions were so different in transformation.
This is the back of my voyager Megs
No wings. Because they're wrapped around the lower legs so well you barely notice them at all. The nose cone of the jet is folded back at the top with the arm cannon being completely seperate from it and integrated into the back of the jet in alt mode. Also flight stand port!
Can store weapon when not in use.
Front view cos he's so nice.
Side view showing the backpack here barely sticks out either and he's overall a really tidy figure especially for a jet-former which are commonly very kibbly usually due to wings.

When I bought my TLK Optimus Prime voyager, one of the leg joints was stuck. It wouldn't go sideways. I contemplated returning it before I got my hobby nippers and used it to poke around the joint, finally making it move again.
Anyone else got a similar case or I just had a isolated one?
Also, are they trying to pass off the red bits in Ravenspar as the eyes?

Scottimus Prime has pointed out to us that facebook user Khoi Nyguyen has sighted this new 2-pack. The photo from facebook tells us that this photo was taken in Escondido, California. We already know from a previous reveal that the Mission To Cybertron Deluxe Optimus Prime 2-pack is a ToysRus exclusive.

The voyager is very worth owning IMO.
There is also the Turbo Changer with the mask gimmick. the toy is great but it have NO paint for the bot mode. I FIXED THAT.

Those super elongated 4-steps are just horrible. At least, unlike the shampoo bottles, they do transform. Unfortunately those proportions are unsalvageable, even with paint.

So Walmart has "Autobots Unite" and Toys 'R Us has "Mission to Cybertron", correct? Kinda sad that Hot Rod is a retool of Lockdown in almost all incarnations and mostly exclusive to Walmart. He's the Stinger of TLK

Did you say mostly because there is that non exclusive Tiny Turbo changer?
And yeah, he is totally the Stinger (which was also a BB inspired bot) but at least we are getting a deluxe here. And plus, the legion is not lockdown but one of the good DOTM legion molds Kanrabat raves about.

Did you say mostly because there is that non exclusive Tiny Turbo changer?

I'll have to disagree, I checked it and no details match. The transformation is the same aside from the arms, but as far as I can see, it's all-new.

I asked this back in page 119, but was not really satisfied with that answer.
Looking over both molds it looks like the transformation is very very similar, but everything else is different.
If it is a retool, its so extensive, it may as well just be a new mold.
