Nothing is being projected. The vast vast majority of transformers fans actually feel this way.Dagon wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:MR Optimus Prime wrote:Official product now following the knock off mentality making larger simple aweful toys to see how much maney they can rip you off for.
Yeah, because those TFs is now the norm and every single new TFs that will come out from now on will be exactly like these!
Or...
How DARE they making another kind of product for a different market, a different public with a different budjet? Hasbro must cater to MY needs alone!
I know that this will be really, really hard for some people to understand, but you are aware that it is possible for a person to not like a Hasbro product without that dislike being an indicator of these idiotic responses that you project onto a person, right? This kind of 'reply' doesn't actually make the person who dislikes something look silly or anything, it just makes the person who employs them look like an idiot.

I'd like to do that, but I didn't know how...
Anyway, it's already in the front page and I've got 1 news credit thanks to willian-james88.
Autobot Roadburn wrote:I actually REALLY like how smoothly the T Rex head fits into the back, it looks very well integrated. I'm not a huge fan of the Rex mode, it's a bit off, but I would buy Grimlock on his own for the robot mode. He'd look really nice with a custom paint job to help that detail pop.
I agree with you, specially with the dino mode. And here's NECA's Godzilla to show it.
RhA wrote:Grimlock looks kinda nice, actually.
To be frank, for me he's the best of the line, the shoulder/transformation articulation is a true winner here. Next to him is Megatron, the paint apps on him are nice and SHINY! Too bad Starscream had no kness, because that was THE deal breaker to me. Optimus and Bee just... not for me. Also, I already have lots of them, so I won't miss them.
Should Hasbro have added some extra joints (To be frank, only Bicep/Elbol swivels and Thigh/Knee swivels were enough for me), these would be a nice "cost/benefict toys" for collectors, but for kids they're quite nice.
Lockdownhunter wrote:Not bad.I would like to see a repaint of this in G1 colours.
For me, I'd like to see him in RiD15 colours.

Why not both?
I don't have a Universe of Henkei Dinobot, but this guy would be a decent and cost effective stand in for Dinobot. While the dino mode is all wrong, the robot mode is a pretty good match for Dinobot. Tall and thin with long limbs while still beefy and intimidating.

SG Roadbuster wrote:Hey lookit, he has basic articulation! thus making it the only figure from this line worth buying.
Cyber Megatron has also the very same articulation, just the shouders aren't "natural" as Grimlock's due to the transformation. Also, Megatron's hip joints are WAY stronger, but too much spaced per click; Grimlock's smooter so we can "cheat" them.
Oh, and Megatron comes with... a GUN!

Because my wallet says so.

Being him a T-Rex, why not a "Transmetal Megatron", just like that "FoC Grimlock with BW Megatron head"?
http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... ges/27070/
As for "Cyber Battalion Dinobot"... That gives me an idea.
Yes, this is a KO BW Dinobot with Hardhead legs... or a KO BWN Hardhead with Dinobot's robot and beast heads!
And no, Grimlock cannot hold those weapons normally because they are "half-pegs". I've used a piece of paper for proper holding.

First with some Age of Extinction bots
- With Evasion Mode Prime (from the 2 pack) and Evasion Mode Optimus with DX09 Armor add-on
- With Strafe and Scorn
- With Slug and Slash
- With Grimlock himself. Yes, the Cyber grimlock can hold AoE's Grimmy mace and no I don't own the Leader class for comparsion... yet.
Now with some Prime/Beast Hunters...
- With Transformers Prime RiD Rumble (Or frenzy, you choose ) and Vehicon
- With Transformers Prime RiD Bulkhead and BH Whellijack
- With Transformers Prime First Edition Prime and Prime RiD Ultra Magnus, Sir!
- With Transformers Prime First Edition Arcee and Beast Hunters Smokescreen
- With Beast Hunters Vertebreack and Skystalker
- With Voyager and Beast Fire Predaking

Unfortunately, the T-rex mode legs have no functional knees...
BONUS!
Grimlock, transform to Dino Mode so we can ride you into battle!
And now with "Steeljoe" in his "secret" Mario Kart mode!
(Just transform his legs back to vehicle mode in robot mode)

So that's Megs AND Grimlock I want now.

Well, there's lots and lots of bots who drive themselves so yeah, it's better.

In America, however, X-Brawn's head would be in the front passenger seat instead of the driver's seat.-Kanrabat- wrote:william-james88 wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:Steeljaw in Mario Cart mode...

Yes, as Steeljaw still have his hands and tail avaliable, just like an upside-down gerwalk mode.

First and foremost, let's start with some Combiner Wars TFs
- Both Cyber Battalion Grimlock and Megatron with CW Leader Megatron
- With CW Superion (Well, sort of...) and Powerglide
Being this a "child line", why not compare him with another "children toys"?
- With Total Heroes Mr. Freeze and Despicable Me Stuart with Fart Dart Launcher
- With LEGO Hero Factory Brain Attack Aquagon and TF Construct-Bots Soundwave (With the wings placed in his back instead of arms)
- With Playmates TMNT Donnatelo and SRC Gokaio- I mean, Power Rangers Super Megaforce Legendary Megazord
Now with randomic collectibles
- With Beast Wars Transmetal Scavenger and Animated Blackarachnia
- With NECA Gordon Freeman and S.I.C. Kamen Rider Ichigo
- With SHFiguarts DeluKnight and NECA "G14" Godzilla
- With Sazer-X DX Shark Leaguer
- And, to wrap things out, with Star Wars Black Series ROTJ Luke and Diamond Select Deadpool... being a Deadpool of sorts.

Now I need to suggest something else..., BW Grimlock dalmatian dots? Either that or the Fireblast Grimlock Activator from Animated.

Grimmy is indeed a nice size Voyager, and Megs is slightly bigger than I thought he'd be. I'm seriously tempted to get him and find a customizer to paint him up in RID colors as I'm still disappointed that Hasbro hasn't released a Voyager RID Grimlock.

To be honest I'm hoping stores like BBTS get him in, as he'd be $28 or so shipped from Robot Kingdom. I guess in the grand scheme of things that isn't an awful price though is it?
Maybe if I can sell a couple things I'll break down and do it.

Not a bad price for something you really want. And in any case, if BBTS does get these, it might be at a higher price to cover their importing costs, you might as well import it yourself.

for you, that may not be too bad a price. Where I am, before shipping the Takara versions of warrior class transformers are that price, so I think you could make it work.

ROTF deluxe Breakaway:
Mr Herp-a-Derp himself, Armada Sideswipe:
And while I'm at it let's go for a non Transformers transforming toy, TMNT Mutation something Splinter. I have him and he's awesome!

While that is true, that does not mean that a person has to like it, or is not allowed to comment on it. It's actually alright to have an opinion on something, even if it's not 'meant for you.' So, get over yourself as well.

It's funny, it's toally okay to be critical and have a negative opinion on Hasbro and Takara because they don't have an automatic response. The second a person does it to another person "RUDE! BULLYING! BULLYING YOURE BEING MEAN TO ME!"
Shut up and play with the toys you have. You don't like it don't buy it. Just shut up and stop acting like it matters. Don't need need to own every toy. Just because your adult that has a children's hobby doesnt mean you gotta act like a child.

Huh, cause that's not what I said at all. You're probably right though, there's certainly no place on a discussion board for a person's opinion. I should follow you "adult" lead.
If you like these toys, I'm sorry my opinion upset you so much because you're either real upset or overreacting, but only a little.

Decent size, articulation, and while simple it's not a one-step and not a gigantic brick. Seriously, as a kid the jump-starters were interesting for about 5 minutes. My g1 Repugnus? Transformed him so many times he fell apart. He wasn't complicated at all, but he looked amazing and had great articulation for a g1 figure. This Megatron is a step in the right direction for the younger crowd
