Peter Cullen WANTED to Voice Optimus Prime in RiD?

Word from BotCon is that Peter Cullen said that he was actually looking to play the role of Optimus Prime in Robots in Disguise. Unfortunately for everyone (except Neil Kaplan) the production company dubbing the series (Saban) decided to use their in house staff instead.


Saban is also rumored to be the company responsible for the next Transformers cartoon, Transformers: Cybertron. Will Garry Chalk be the next Optimus Prime to fall before Saban? (UPDATE!) Many of my more vocal readers have informed me that the odds of Saban being involved with Cybertron are about the same as a Takara reissue of Waspinator. Thanks guys!
