Never do this "FIRST" crap again.
Warnings will start to flow for that junk.

...seriously? Nothing to contribute, a "lolimfirst" comment, and a bunch of smilies?
I must be getting old. My first thought after reading the title of the news story was, "Why is a Transformers site making a news post about a game that's more than 10 years old?"

If Perfect Effect is going to remain a player, they need to get these quality issues behind them, quickly too.

Or at the earliest, late Spring. Some time after Adepticon, anyway...

It's not because you're old, it's because you're a humongous nerd. NERD!
DevastaTTor wrote:Seriously Perfect Effect, you couldn't find a factory the could manufacture the peg to fit in Shadow Commander's shoulder? You market him as a shoulder cannon add on but can't get that right? Cool figure but no excuse for this. Fansproject would have gotten this right.

I thought the exact same thing. You either piss with the big dogs, or go back to the pound.
Counterpunch wrote:If I can't convince myself to buy a figure (and I'm fantastic at that), what hope does this company have?
About the same chance a bottle of tequila has at Kenny Rogers house.
Now, as FR can attest I think his customs are the best out there bar none. If you haven't seen his recent Hardhead w/ Duros you're missing out. I have no doubt that FR will take these out of place figures and make them work. Personally I don't like the dark colors.
I wonder what other figures Perfect Effect are going to try and do?

I saw some I hadn't seen before, like the Stunticon homage and the white repaint of the Red Bull truck.

YOU BEAT ME TO THE VIDEO REVIEW!
Ah oh well, this thing is awesome, a great update on the R/F character, and the shoulder thing is easy to fix.

Ok, if you want a super sheap one, go to Bigbadtoystore and buy it for about 30-40$. Use the rest of the 70$ to buy yourself a Masterpiece Skywarp from Wal-Mart

I just got an e-mail from BBTS saying my pre-order in. I was even thinking of getting a second one so my Shadow Commander could have 2 shoulder cannons, not to mention 2 little minion/drone guys, but now I'm thinking of removing him from my PoL and taking store credit. Maybe when they get around to actually coloring him like Rumble and Frenzy they'll fix the peg problem, but until then pass.

Already got MP skywarp for $60 when it first hit the stores. Honestly I would love to buy online but right now I can only get what cold cash allows. This will be my first Botcon so Im hoping to pick up all the figures I see from these 3rd party sites.
Not to get off topic but does anyone know why the fans project posts their Bruticus Maximus sets as white in color ??? Are those prototype photos or are they trying to market them to collectors who like to paint models ???
Posted by EdabanG on February 17th, 2010 @ 9:04am CST
The fansproject TF Crossfire 02 (Bruticus) pics are of the unpainted prototype.
Once the figure is released, it will be painted. The Shadow Warrior from Perfect Effect should be coming out in other colors as well. I read that there are going to be 3 different releases for this mold.

Touche, my friend, as I too also have my own Masterpiece Skywarp! Got it for Christmas too, to top it all off , but unfortunately, I accidentally broke off his left wing. I was trying to pull the wing up off the back piece when it snapped. No worries, it's all repaired, but I have to be careful around that wing now, as all I did to fix it was put it back in, because one of the arcs (as I call them) is still on there, the other one snapped .

RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Looks interesting. I don't own Shadow Commander, so it not being a good fit means little. Music Label Soundwave, Ravage and Auto-Scotu need company.
I'm with you dude, and what's worse is that not only do I not own the Commander mol, but I don't even own a Classics Optimus Prime mold, which sucks for me . I've seen pics that in gun mode, Shadpw Warroir can be held by other figures. Is this true? If so, hah, I can imagine Classics Bumblebee struggling to hold Shadow Warrior...
