Movies site ComingSoon.net has had the opportunity to talk with Transformers scriptwriters duo Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. They talk in the interview about being involved with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and other projects that lie in the wake behind this movie.

"We gave them a treatment before the strike which they prepared off of, then when we came back, we started writing immediately, and back to your question about how we were able to do it. On "Transformers," we demanded to be teamed up with the amazing Ehren Kruger, who co-wrote the movie with us, so it was really the three of us just spent four months in a hotel room and we got the script in shape".

I really trust these guys.
Met them at BC07 and spoke with them a bit. They're really competant.

With the addition of Kruger the script should be even beter than the first so I'm confident we are in for a better story tan the first.

I liked the first but it could have had more time in development.

I have a firm belief this movie will be even better than the first. Besides bringing in a third writer to help recognize plot holes, we've already heard Meghan Fox say they had to re-write because they'd focused so heavily on the bots that the relationship between her and Sam was buried. Now in order to make it perfect, we need a beach scene with Mikaela..:-P HELLO BIKINI!

While seeing ms. Fox in a itty bitty bikini would be nice, I hope they don't defocus on the robots too much.

The script for the first one seemed to have taken a little more time to deveiop than this script Galvatron. Keep in mind a script was being developed before Bay got on board and once Bay got on board they had an entire year of further development to do, plus dialog was changed day by day, as Zack Ward told a firned of mine once regarding the making of the movie, not sure if Orci and Kurtzman were there on set much.

This script had months to write with the writer's strike in the way. But with the first movie already made they have the feeling that they can do more both in tone and feel more free with the budget, it being close to 200 million so I've heard.

I have faith in Orci and Kurtzman, not as a Transformers fans but as screenwriters in general, The Island and Mission: Impossible III were the high octnaed excitements films I was waiting for in the summers of 2005 and 2006. And Transformers 1 was great fun.

I like the idea of Kruger writing the script, he's a great thriller writer. The Skeleton Key had my heart pumping.

I'm sure they'll deliver a kick ass script.
