Prime's chest seems to completely move away from his torso in the very beginning. It cuts to a pointless slow-mo shot when Bonecrusher dives on him with totally unresponsive traffic. Then, as theyre falling from the bridge, you see them both, then it cuts to the inside of the car and Prime has mysteriously vanished only to fall on top of Bonecrusher a second later (they fell together)

As for the whole clip in itself, it is highly incomplete (to my knowledge) and only just and exclusive look. Not final, no music and "Look Mom" scene is not in.

Ahh. Yeah, I can understand if he was transforming but his legs are already extended by that point (they've not been parted before the front end's transformed in bits we've seen) but this might be like Hot Rod's transformations. They change.mangatron wrote:Meverix wrote:What the hells up with that scene?

I can understand it's not finished. But... well, when Bonecrusher dives, first he seems some distance away from the white truck in the bottom left. He hits prime, and his fingers brush over the front of it, and they roll and some of Optimus obscures it. Then, they fall off the bridge and that truck is completely gone, replaced by a small car, apparently.
Maybe, even extended, bits are missing. They don't appear to be on a bridge when the white truck's there. there must be a clip when they get to it

Quoted for truth.
The clip is not complete. End of discussion. Restart thread and,

I think that "look mom" thing comes after. It's more likely they spliced it into the trailer, who knows where that scene is actually taken from, it could be from anywhere in the film.

I just noticed that truck is missing as well. Hopefully the scene has been cut for the clip and is more complete in the movie otherwise that little mistake will bother me like a few bits in the freeway chase in bad boys 2.
And yeah, johnny come lately, this is old news sorry.

Again, sorry to be such a prat about this...
Errors (in order of appearance)
1. Prime's transformation bothers me. We've seen from the lengthy trailer that his transformation begins at the front. And yet in this we see his legs are already fully transformed, while his nose seems to have a way to go.
2. The dive. There's an odd laugh in the background, but that could be anything. The main issues I have with this are that, firstly, the bot's position changes on the highway. At first, Bonecrusher is some distance behind the white truck. He dives, and his fingers appear on top of the truck (in front of it). He hits prime, and two things happen (or don't). Firstly, the two don't seem to go any distance from the impact. If you watch, the dive doesn't seem to take them anyway, as if they stopped in mid air (but continue to roll). However, they suddenly appear in front of the truck. Surely the natural response to two giant mechanoids landing in front of you would be to swerve to avoid? The truck does nothing.
3. The following clip shows them suddenly to be rolling over onto a highway bridge (s'cuse the lack of technical terms, i dont have a lisence). Now, the fact they seem to already be rolling (as is from Bonecrushers dive) make me think there isn't a scene missing which shows them getting onto that bridge. Not only this, but that white truck has vanished, only to be replaced by two small cars.
4. They rocket over the edge of the bridge, and Prime grabs hold of the ledge before letting go. Before it cuts, Bonecrusher is nearly at the bottom of his fall. It then cuts to the sunroof-cam of a car below, and it shows Bonecrusher at the top of his fall, and Prime is nowhere (only to land by Bonecrusher a second later).
I'm not being difficult, I promise I wasn't LOOKING for errors, but these showed and they made me enjoy it just a little less. I envy those of you who can ignore it and like it for what it is. My hopes are that it is early footage and has since been corrected.

Simple answer regarding the bridge.
Its a truncated clip ie not the entire scene

Thats because he is. He has wheels near his feet so most likely they move into place. Seeing him skate isnt that bad compared to the bm transmetal megatron skating, and I think he did it in dinosaur mode to top it off.

See, I'm willing to believe that if it weren't for the fact they roll out of the scene with the white truck and roll INTO the bridge scene, as though it were one action. I'm pretty certain its missing a scene, its just for that roll that I'm a little in doubt.Chris™ wrote:Simple answer regarding the bridge.

He is. His wheels are on his feet (take another look, theres a thick black tire on the end of each foot). Think its the same for the toy if you want another look. And yeah, they do seem to move awkwardly; Prime's first steps onto the freeway are a bit wierd. He impacts the ground from a fair height but his knees dont bend to accomodate the impactStormrider wrote:I think I am in the minority. I don't like what I am seeing. Its ok i noticed the truck thing before i saw this thread, but all the other bits you mentioned i had never noticed apart from b-crushers hand infront of the truck.
I dunno what the big deal is really. ALL Movies have mistakes like this in them especially such huge films like TF. I mean in The Matrix you can see the strings, in Aliens you can see a film crew members foot, many films you can see the crew in the reflection of something, in MI:" during the bike chase their tyres change from road tyres to off road tyres in the blink of an eye. All movies have errors, so why is this an exception?

Oh sure, lots of movies have errors, no question. But these errors were sat on somebody's computer monitor rendering for a reported 38 hours a frame? They were sat there looking obvious for some time and nobody noticed? That's what bothers me.Sonray wrote:Meverix wrote:Editted for show, yeah I can understand that, so long as its not part of the main film I can handle that.Chris™ wrote:It had to have been edited that way so when they showed it last night it looked like one fluid battle, not so that everyone and their grandmama could pick it apart.
