You're just saying it because you're from the South.
I'm stoked. If the quality is there I will endeavor to pick this up.

I love ice hockey, if you must know. I've actually been to quite a few Dallas Stars games in the American Airline Center

Clearly you've never been to the north. Here in Canada (Toronto in particular) hockey dwarfs b-ball, baseball, and even football in popularity. Hell, with the lockout over i can't turn on a tv or radio without some talking head blithering on about it endlessly.
As for the jersey, its ok, but too much like the Habs jersey for this be-Leafer.

Wow Im really taking a beating for my hockey comment. I have been to New York, but Im not a Northern native. Like I said, Im from the south. We used to have the Florida Panthers closer to Miami, but they moved further up north because they didnt get much support from the latino population down here. Out here baseball is the equivilant to hockey up north. The Florida Marlins recently got re-named the Miami Marlins which is what it should have always been from the beginning. Other than Wayne Gretzky, I couldnt name a single hockey player. Cant say I arree with naming teams after dumb birds like Ducks and Penguins either. But I must admit, letting the players fight is pretty cool. I wish they would let basketball players beat the crap out of each other. Id love it !

The jersey is alright from the pictures, but I would be worried about the price tag.

In fact aren't a lot of baseball teams named after birds too? Hell, my hometown Jays are birds. Which reminds me, sorry about the fleecing my team gave yours this off-season...not.
I specifically said "dumb birds". There are plenty of powerful symbolic birds to use such as the eagle, hawk, falcon, vulture, etc. No need to use ducks or penguins. Do they have a doves team too in hockey ?
On to the fish. Have you ever seen the size of a Marlin AKA swordfish ? It's got a huge 3 foot spear capable of stabbing a man in the chest Steve Irwin style. It's not like we used the Miami Blowfish or the Miami Clownfish or some other fish associated with kids cartoons. And on football, Dolphins are extremly smart and they arent even fish.
NHL Games are played in a climate controlled arena so not having snow or frozen ponds in sot the issue. I think the reason hockey gets such a bad rap in the South is because it does not have a diverse group of players. If More Latino, Black, and Asian players would get signed, the populariry of the sport might increase in the South and West Coast.

Given what the exchange that prompted Kibble's response ... I see what you did there.
