Some Transformers have gorilla arms. Sentinel, however is looking like he WANTS to have gorilla arms.

He's showing off his big gun turrets that make him look beefy and boss and apex-armored off

Stupid Prognostication Time! Anyone think the smaller headmasters from IDW's past are taking bodies of dead Transformers and using them? I seem to recall Soundwave getting blasted in the head once, and he's a potential retool for Blaster (if the past few toys have been evidence).

Well that's because this is based on IDW Sentinel Prime who was orange and not on the Animated Sentinel.

But seriously, I don't know if it's been mentioned since this thread is way longer than I have time to read, but does anyone else think Galvatron has potential to be remolded into Energon Megatron? Wouldn't take much work, they could make a new Titan Master for him that looks like Armada Megatron though the horns might be troublesome.
I think the Individual Titan Masters may be able to combine with their vehicles to make heads for Fortress Maximus. I could be wrong, they seem too small, but Crashbash's beast's sides look like the sides of a helmet and the handle peg could act as a neck. We haven't seen these guys in weapon mode so who knows what else they're hiding.
They really need to give us a Star Saber in this line. The way the larger figures do their heads are perfect for him and a great call back to the Brainmasters. An IDW style figure would be a lot of fun.

Technically they're all based on stormbringer astrotrain

Wow, that's quite a disparity, he would've made a cool toy though; well, then, the toy at least is based on stormbringer astrotrain (I grew up reading that in high school, it's so cool we're getting a toy from that series )

Heh, in my mind Sentinel will always be a big red rosenbauer fire engine. I don't like this figure much at all. It just doesn't seem very interesting and the bright orange seems a bit garish for what's not a paritcular exciting looking robot.

actually... look at all the possible retoolings and redecos this guy can serve for the UT characters im going to be one happy camper with all the possible Energon retoons and redecos that this guy can serve
was thinking about placing a image from another fandom i'm in to represent what i think of all the possibilities

Yeah, I got him just to do the repaint but I'd like an official release that doesn't require me to buy a pinch of third party add ons.

The front of the legs flips up to allow for (I assume) 360 degree rotation, so it might yet be possible

Same reason we are getting Blaster before Soundwave. It seems Hasbro wisened up by giving the less popular characters a release first, encouraging kids to know new or lesser known characters first. I am sure there are other examples but I cant think of them at the moment.

Later waves are notoriously harder to find in stores too, so later, more popular characters whom adults really care for will be found easier since so many preorder or order online. Those lesser characters are thus more available in stores for the audience that only buys brick and mortar style.
That's just an idea of mine

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we've never, in any toy line, had a Leader Class Rodimus figure. Ever. (The MP doesn't count. It's MP.) I think this would be the perfect time.RodimusRex wrote:I think we'll see Rodimus re-enter the picture in Titans Return in a Hot Rod-type form.
Supposedly there's a Powermaster Prime coming down the line, out of the Leader Ultra Magnus mold. If that's the case, we'll find out soon enough. They'd have to do a LOT of retooling to Magnus to get a proper Powermaster Prime, though.Seibertron wrote:Hopefully they'll do Godmasters and targetmasters properly as well as engines and guns.

I wish we would get a voyager Rodimus. it would match his size nicely and if they did it in MTMTE style I would buy without hesitation. The combiner wars guy just doesn't work in robot mode and he's tiny compared to the others, so he is in need of a good updated figure

Yeah, but that to me does not scream Rodimus. While the size works, the body type doesn't fully fit Rodimus for me. He looks good don't get me wrong, but he's just too much for me to justify and he just doesn't look enough the part

I dont see why, its not like Rodimus is a helicopter and plus I dont find it super fair to just say "no need to complain, just pay 150$ and you'll get what you want". At that price, there is very little reason not to start looking at third party instead. I dont encourage it, but just the same that I dont encourage people to pay so much for a novelty figure that might end up being redundant in the long term. Unless they are passionate about said figure (but then, they dont need any advising)

I would have gotten him this last Christmas if I had been able to. Even at $90 it is quite an awesome look for Rodimus. But I'm not paying over $200 for him. Not while I think other versions could still be a possibility.

As soon as a 3rd party company gets to putting a voyager sized Rodimus... We'll get one fr Hasbro... If we don't get it in Titans return or the next Prime Wars installment.

Call me picky, but I also am not a fan of a Rodimus that does not have a spoiler on his back and lacks exhaust pipes on his arms. Those 2 features make Rodimus stand out to me.

I really wanted the fans project armor. I tried finding a KO but it didn't work out. And I'm not spending these crazy after market prices for armor.
