We don't know, but we can expect to know more sometime around the first quarter of 2014, maybe at Toy Fair 2014.

Hey, guy. Maybe you haven't been following, or you can't read, or maybe you're blind, which would be unfortunate, but THAT IS MP-10! It's MP-10 with new paint apps.
Seriously people. Enough complaining. You wanted another MP-10. Well, HERE YOU GO!!
Also, Starscream's thighs are backwards.

To be honest though, the core figure itself's deco is virtually the same, just the chrome is blinged out. But as a whole, yes, there are significant differences.

Deco, yes, I meant that not colours. It's Starscream that intrigues me though, if it's going for a G1 look, why red and blue on the thighs? He looks neat though. Prime not so much for me, but a cool release nonetheless.

Looks clunky and unstable. Anyone have experience with the mold?
Beautifully colored by the way, now if only i could afford such gems...
Now that MP-10 is perplexing. I cant tell if i like the gold or not...
And since i missed the first MP-10, i won't really complain about the trailer that was
never in the show to being with...
Will these things sell? Did the year of the dragon collectibles sell?
Thanks in Advance!

Stability wasn't really an issue. His shoulders however were INCREDIBLY limited in movement. Otherwise though it's a nice figure, but if you don't have this particular iteration of Starscream ... I'd go the deluxe. Cheaper, essentially the same.

Gold face shield and all. This however doesnt do it for me, MP 10 and 10B are sleeker looking and more pristine in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure there is no deluxe version of that mold. Supreme, which the YotH SS is made out of, Voyager and Legends class.
In any case, the Voyager mold is perfectly stable.
Don't own the supreme version of it but there's no reason to think hes unstable. He's just freaking huge.
In any case, I like SS. Not sure how I feel about the Gangsta Prime with the bling. For some reason, I start hearing Mr. T's voice coming out of that thing. Ah.. Pity the foo that touches mah grill. Ah pity the foo.

Now that this OCD tantrum is out of the way, that Starscream is one repaint that I really, really want. Unfortunately, I bet the price -with shipping to Canada- will be insane. Oh well, at least I have the original Cybertron Supreme Starscream.

So you live in Canada? Why are you worried about shipping then? ToysRUs Canada gets the Platinum Edition figs, including those not sold in the US.
So, just keep an eye on your local TRU.

Just pointing out that the "deluxe" version of the Starscream Cybertron mold does NOT exist. The smaller ones are the legends and voyager molds. Maybe you were thinking about the recent Generations FOC mold. That one is an awesome toy but like the Titanium version, even if it's similar to the Cybertron mold, they are completely different toys.
Back to the Cybertron Starscream mold. The Supreme Class is an upscale of the original voyager mold. The only fault of that mold is that the arms have very limited movement. Appart that, the transformation is simple yet effective. It's a very fun toy that is great loonk in all modes. Anyone who dont like their TF too big can go with the voyager. Many repaints of the voyager mold are available. If anyone want the big guy but don't feel like paying a fortune, the Cybertron Supreme class original is very easy to find everywhere for a very reasonable price.
Tl;Dr, your Strascream collection is not complete without the Cybertron mold. Voyager or Supreme.

Yeesh... Let's hope they are smart enough to put the damn French on the packaging because if they don't (like aLL the MP and TrU exclusives so far) I'll have to depend on a gentle soul to middleman it to me. I will still end up paying a fortune.
Why are Transformers the only TrU exlusives where they don't bother putting French on the packaging, making any Québécois unable to buy them, even online? At least, Target put French on their exclusives and guess what, TrU? THEY SELL S#!T HERE AND MAKE MONEY!!!
Sorry for ranting, but this is a subject that fill me with rage each and every times.

I live in quebec and damn that french thingy makes me sick, all because of a stupid 101 Law that was voted ions ago.
we quebecois never get the real good big shit
anyway, I already have supreme class cybertron Strascream and its a great toy.
my only regret is that they didnt make a thundercracker and a skywarp variation.

The overall color scheme is looking a lot more thought out. I actually like the relatively darker blues combined with the black, silver, and deep red tones.
If you can stand the gold chrome, this might make a nice G2 Prime stand-in.

Oh, and the insignia on different shoulders is probably just because the picture was mirrored. Wouldn't it be cool if they were switchable though and it came with a pair of each?

Megazarak wrote:Hm, I don't have Masterpiece OP (cause they sold out everywhere...) so maybe I should get this guy. The altered insignia is a bit of a pain, but not the end of the world (would have been cool if I'd been a horse, but I'm a monkey, maybe in 2 years we'll get a cool mold for our zodiac figure). I think I'll have to limit myself to a big discount, if that never happens I think I'll just wait for a reissue of regular Prime, which should come eventually.

Though places like TFsource have this guy on preorder for $165+, BBTS has stated that they'll list theirs for cheaper once the official preorder date comes along soon after the New Year - probably around $120, which is reasonable.
Plus, since this is a Platinum Edition and looks very, very Americanized to boot, we'll probably see this at TRU, too.

Platinum Omega Supreme
Platinum Optimus Prime

None of them are available at TRU stores.
The only Platinum figures at TRU, as far as I know, are Ultra Magnus and the Grimlock/Bruticus set.

I was also just going to ask what the symbols were in the insignias, but thought that the Autobot one kind of looked like a stylized version of the Chinese character for horse, 馬 (mǎ). So I looked it up and that's what they are, with the Decepticon one being an older form of the character. Pictured below for reference (the last two). This was probably posted before but I just found out now, and I think it's interesting enough to repost for others who might not know.
That is very cool. Now I'm really hoping Monkey gets a cool figure. Fingers crossed for Masterpiece Optimus Primal! Yes, even though he's an ape.

And Predaking was/is on the online TRU site (at least in Canada). http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp ... d=28391916 But sure, I could be wrong. Overall the Platinum figures aren't selling all that well so TRU might not want them anymore (though for the MP-10 mold they'll probably want some).

I'm pretty sure the last TRU MP OP was $119.99 or $129.99. I think the Amazon-BBTS exclusive "Platinum" repaint of ENERGON OP was $100 or less, but not the MP OP. IF TRU carries this new MP OP, it will surely be more than $100.
SS, on the other hand, is NOT a MP, so it will probably be priced lower than MP TC. I would expect it to be more in in line with something like Platinum UM: $59.99.
