Also from Autobase Aichi we have an official image update - originally from TakaraTomyMall - on the Takara Tomy Transformers Adventure line, combining (heh) different toys from two lines - Hasbro Combiner Wars and Robots in Disguise 2015 - featuring redecos of Legends class Blackjack and Groove as TAV25 Runabout and TAV26 Override respectively, plus the Micron Shooter Fracture, its Micron, and Big Steeljaw. Check them all out below!

The Trigger-Bot well that is actually appealing not only will the colours look OK with the Protectobots they will also go OK with Victorian and Sky Lynx too (better than Wreck Gar does).
Does Runabout get some sort of prize for the most number of Decepticon logos in the smallest space - (Should have left the hood one off though as it messes up the look of him when used as a torso piece).
And even if Takara might like you to pretend you are not going to do that - people still will.

Very clever, indeed. Though, if I get duplicates so that one can be G1 Override, I'm still taking that sticker off, as I have with TAV Bombshell, Shrapnel, and Powerglide. Speaking of which, I still don't quite get why Takara went to the trouble of retooling those molds to have those circular chest indents for the stickers. Having the figures in hand, I can confirm they are unnecessary and that the stickers would have fit just fine on those figures if unaltered from the Hasbro releases of the mold. I know some of the proper Transformers RiD/Adventure figures have such indents. Was this an attempt to somehow "legitimize" these characters as belonging to the TAV line, instead of being "fillers" originally intend for Generations/Legends/Classics/whatever?

That scannable logo on Runabout's chest/window ruins the look completely. The vehicle mode logos are pretty intrusive too, but that's what kills it entirely. Too bad, because otherwise he looks awesome with the new colors.

I was a Little surprised (but pleased) it was based on the G1 Triggerbot Override in blue & red and not the Cybertron Override coloured (Red & Black).

I thought the same too about the 'con symbols everywhere. But I still like it and the colour is awesome too I just really really hope they release a runamuck to go with him since I didnt get to grab the club's versions.
I can wait to paint up a custom gun for Runabout.

Hey everyone, TF Yuki has posted some new images of Takara's TAV 21 Optimus Prime figure which was made exclusively for their market. This is in honor of the figure finally being out in retail and shipping from online retailers. These images give a very good indication of his large size which is in between Leader and Supreme class. Yeah, but you can't do a transformation like that on RID Prime and still have it look like the character. What they could have done is made the lower legs collapse an inch or so, but they clearly wanted to give him height.
Personally I'm not that bothered by the proportions, I don't think the legs are as ridiculously long as RID 2000 Ultra Magnus' legs and the proportions are the same as Warrior class Optimus Prime.
I'm surprised TFYuki didn't compare Optimus to his beloved Star Saber since he's the same size as Superion.

Compared to the show model, the toy have the lower legs a thigh leight too long. That's not perfection, but I'd still take this over the bricktastic mega 1/3 step changers.
