To start off, here are the images of the One Step Changers giftset, comprised of Lockdown, Drift, Slug, Grimlock, with Silver Knight Optimus Prime being included as an exclusive bonus.
Next up on the agenda is the Titan Bumblebee figure, which is based on his 2014 Camaro design and comes equipped with a plain black weapon.
Also revealed are Hero Masher figures of Soundwave and Slag Slug, who takes after Grimlock and is based on his dinosaur alternate form.
And to wrap things up, we have some official images of package variants of Power Battlers Optimus Prime.

According to other sources, Lockdown will be with the 2014 Camaro Bumblebee and "Hot Shot", who is speculated as being Shane's rally car.

Shockwave7--I may be reading your context wrong, and if that's so, my apologies. But this comment reads in such a way that there is a definite undertone of racism, and we really don't want to get down that road. So let's keep the topic of Lockdown's appearance to just that, and avoid speculations that are racially offensive in tone.

Yeah I'll be honest, I don't see minstrel show, I actually see Transformer vladimir putin, the Sagging mammaries formed from carparts, the "Hairline" formed by the the helmet pulled back, the no nonsense characterization, i'm just making things up for the fun of it now

This. A majority of Age of Extinction (nay, a majority of decisions the new team's making, i.e oddly colored Sunstorm) toys in a nutshell.

No it don't. Far from it. The dinobots alone are amazing. The cars are very great too! There's lots of paints aps, the figures dont feel as cheap as the early Generations FOC deluxes, and they even are getting bigger!
I just don't understand what the hell you guys are whining about. The fawk do you want? Tiny MPs for 9$?!
Good grief.

Let's be fair, the Hero Mashers don't have to transform, so they can basically look however they dang well please. Decent sculpts, I guess, but not my thing. I might pick up the Bulkhead one, but other than that, nah.
Lockdown seems... Adequate, I guess? There' nothing there that really seems any worse than the average movie toy, but at the same time, there's nothing that really captures my interest, either. It's a fairly standard moviebot design.
I do kinda like the looks of that one-step Slug. I'll probably go for it once it's released on its own, but I'm not particularly interested in any of the others in that set (except Grimlock, who I have already).
Power Battler Optimus has four arms. Weird.
...And does ANYONE actually want those Titan Hero/Titan Guardian figures? I mean, if they're going to be making non-transforming Transformers toys, they can at least put some effort into it. The Robot Replicas figures from the first two movie toylines are a case in point, as is the Power Bots Bumblebee from the Animated toyline.

Well some people like it more detailed and complex and some easy and cheap! I don't know which cars you're referring as "great" with lots of paint apps.I haven't seen those anywhere! And all recently released AoE toys are very cheap looking compare to the first two movie figures.Starting with scout all the way to leader class!
Just my opinion!

I don't understand folks who make blanket statements like "these AOE toys look cheap and don't even compare to the first Movie Trilogy" - that's willfully ignoring a lot of missteps throughout the 7 years of movie toys we've gotten. DOTM was as bad as ROTF/HFTD was great. For every Battle Blade Bumblebee, you're going to have a handful of Rampages.
Given Hasbro's goal of simplifying the toys to make parents & kids less frustrated, and what we thought that would mean for us, I have to give Hasbro a lot of credit for not leaving collectors in the dust. So far, the dinobots have exceeded my expectations, the voyagers have generally bene very, very well done, and the Leaders to be, though smaller, very nice overall.
None of the figures are perfect by any means, but I am very excited for Deluxe & Voyager Drift, and Lockdown, too. I just hope I'm as impressed with the movie, but that might be a longer shot.

This. I'd also really like some proper new Cyberverses but the AoE line is trying something new with all those instant-change lines. Whatcha gonna do...
So far, the only thing I truly hate are those "dollar store" action figures that are mainly unpainted, unposable bricks. WHO BUY THAT?! Those horrible hunk of plastics sell for a premium too!

They don't seem to like making expensive Decepticon toys any more, other than in the Masterpiece and Platinum lines. The only Decepticon larger than a Voyager in the Dark of the Moon line was Human Alliance Soundwave, and that saw a somewhat limited release (I know it was never released stateside, but I'm not sure what other countries were intended to get him but wound up not getting him). Likewise, the entirety of the Transformers Prime toyline had not a single Decepticon larger than a Voyager (unless you count Predaking, but he's a Predacon so I count him separate). Not to rain on your parade, but I highly doubt a Leader class Lockdown is forthcoming.

It's disappointing how little the villains of the movies are regarded, in both the films and in the toylines. The Big Four went down like nothing in the last movie, especially Megatron who was barely in it. They gave Skids, Mudflap and Jolt DOTM toy updates, but Soundwave got NOTHING domestically.
And now, Stinger is going to be a repaint, Galvatron is only a voyager, and Lockdown (the advertised villain) is a deluxe going up against 2 Leader heroes and an army of Dinobots. I'm worried we're going to get another Shockwave; all hype with minimal activity, screentime, or payoff.

Overquoting to say YEAH, WHERE THE HELL ARE MY TOYS?! So far, only Lockdown and Galvatron are announced. That's fwaking it.
By the way, for a voyager carformer, or , they should bring back the Human Alliance back. This is the only way this could work. As for now, the HA line is pretty much gone and show no signs of coming back.
HASBRO, Y U HAET SO MUCH?
Seriously.

He's not brown on the figure, either. All that plastic is the same color. The picture of car mode is the best representation of the color, but the robot mode picture shows that the chest and other bot parts are made of the same plastic color as the visible car kibble.

My screen shows it to be close to the gun-metal I use for miniatures with an ever so slight shift towards a warmer grey/steel.
But that's my eyes. Remember, not everyone's eyes detect color gradations and shades the same way(see those "men see fewer colors than women" studies for an example).

Not to mention the fact that different monitors display colors differently. I use two monitors at work and it's remarkable how different certain colors can look when I move a document back and forth.

Wait, are you calling me a woman?
Just messing. I didnt know about that study, its interesting.
Anyways, Kanrabat had said that we should not expect deluxe sized masterpiece figures all the time, in reference to our comments and Lockdown and I wanted to get back to that. While I do see where he is coming from, with the Prime line it was easy to see that there were two types of figures Hasbro could do. There were the first editions and the RID. And when looking at the Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, the first editions were like mini deluxe sized masterpieces so we know that Hasbro can do great stuff at that size (hell, we are all talking about ROTF Lockdown). Just look at Cliffumper's chest. One actually used the alt mode parts and the other was just a fake cheat panel.
What those toy lines thaught me is that there are definately gradients of quality with figures and it seems that for these movie toys, Hasbro went the RID way and not the first edition way.
While I think this deluxe lockdown is ok (I like his chest but hate that large amount of back kibble)I do not think that expecting more from Hasbro is wrong either, especially when looking at the quality toys they have done in the past.
Someone said earlier that this is the golden age of transformer toys and though some of us laughed at that idea, I dont think he's too far off. We now have masterpieces coming out routinely, we had the Human Alliance line in the third film, and we have a growing collection of reimaginings of classic toys and characters in the form of the CHUG line. With all this beauty around, and this seeming golden age, .......
...it does annoy me that these AOE car toys have so much damn back kibble
But guys, you never know, there may be better stuff coming out later.

That's the compromise they have to do for the movies aestetics. Since the very first Movie line, the car bots have the whole top of the car folded onto their back. Why you ask? simple: This is a form of SHELLFORMING. With the budget a deluxe have and mostly because we cannot replicate with 100% accuracy a Movie Transformation, they have no choices but to cheat and shellform.
Maybe in another 30 years we will get toys that auto-morph radically and magically at every steps, making them 100% kibble free and 100% screen accurate.

True,
A hero is only as good as his villain.
I love villains like Bane, Winter Soldier, Joker, Loki. And I think they actually did Sentinel Prime very well in the last TF movie, even Megatron I liked (even for the short time he had).
Things like Devastator in ROTF, getting defeated by 2 minibots and a human boat, is so Not Done. But I think they're learning.
Always give the main villain a great toy in scale with the main hero. DOTM was terrible in that, Buster Prime vs little voyager Megatron?

Some companies have a certain public, family friendly, image that having one of their cars portrayed as a villain in a movie, doing absolutely abominable things could damage. My big issue is why we don't see more real cars, the kind that don't stand out like an Altima, or Sonata. If I see a Bugati on my block that's going to stand out to me, to the point that I just might call the police since my area is a poorer neighborhood and that car might bring the wrong kind of attention.
